Welcome Home!

What a great American!

I'm just surprised that this was on ABC!

Thanks Cal for sending this to me.

It's definitely an impetus for me to get my driver's license, to whiz on over to the airport and welcome them home. I love those guys!

This is great!......

I am astonished that any so-called mainstream media would publicize this, grudging thank you`s to ABC for finally getting something right.

We will probably have the dimocrats , most likely Harry Reid or Pelosi demanding equal time to respond.

Nice July 4th post, Denny.

Whatever anyone else has to say, THIS is what makes America a country to be proud of.

That was just wonderful! Happy 4th to you all!

I saw this vidi, awesome folks! It bugs me that our airport wouldn't let us line up like that when my kid came home...oh well, it was all good.
To see them come in and shake their hands...COOL!Sometimes we even secretly pay for their/military fams dinners on our way out out of a restaurant. Happy 4th to all!

I never served. My dad was first cav and his last station was fort hood. lost him in 96. after his tours in nam he never got a welcome.

I live in dallas. I am at DFW occasionally and welcome guys home, buy them beer or mcdonalds. It is so, so great.

People like Bert Brady represent what is so good about America, and why I'm proud to be a citizen of this great country. My dad and an uncle served in Korea, and two other uncles served in Vietnam, and they didn't receive this type of welcome. It's criminal that the lamestream media doesn't report on this as often as they should, instead of lavishing so much undeserved attention on the foaming-at-the-mouth, America-hating socialist moonbats and their pro-terrorist, pro-UN, and pro-dictator "peace" marches.

This should be happening at every airport, in every city, in every state in this country. What an inspiration.

I tilt my glass to Bert Brady and everyone else who participates in this beautiful act of selflessness. My eyes water everytime I watch this.

Don't you see? This is the press finally pandering to us. They're trying to make you believe that they care. Everyone conservative knows that they are out to get us.

vetfromhell-

Maybe that's 'fake but accurate' news. It must've been hard for that jackass to report the story without his spokes puckerin'. I would pay good money to give that motherfucker a knuckle sandwich!

Already
Been

Thanks ABC for being on The United States side for once...

I can attest to how much it means to be greeting like this coming off the plane. Coming back for my mid-tour leave from Iraq I was the first person off the plane. I was in "Hurry" mode, walking as fast as I could to my next flight. (Anything to make it seem like I was going to see my wife sooner.) I literally stopped in my tracks when I walked around the corner and saw about fifty people staring at me and suddenly erupt in applause. I still get tear'd up when I think about it. It is exactly like it is in this clip. I can't express my thanks enough for those people who do this.
