Yep. We got another maroon from today's Vent
The difference between Democratic and Republican politicians is that the Democrats get caught with girls.
I always thought that Barney Frank, Gerry Studds, and Jim McGreevy were Dimocrats. Maybe he meant got caught drowning girls like Ted "the Swimmer" Kennedy.
Posted by denny at September 5, 2007 10:46 PMThey just don't remember.
Posted by: Alan on September 6, 2007 01:15 AMYeah! And republicans are caught with (by?)guys from the police.

sniffffff
There be a cock-exposed in the next stall over!
Posted by: Dan S on September 6, 2007 05:40 AMPerverts of the world, unite! And go away.
Parents, raise your children well and teach them "restroom manners" too.
Republicans and Democrats have problems, how the party either circles to protect or expell the odd trouble-maker is a difference.
The REpublican Party rejected David Duke as a candidate BTW.
Posted by: Jim Macklin on September 6, 2007 06:51 AMGee Phil......
You have a very short memory when it comes to who has been caught or engages in homosexual practices, as Denny pointed out Barney Frank, Gerry Studds, & Jim Mcgreevy are all Democrats.
Now if you want, we can expand for the fairer sex & discuss carpet munchers in the halls of power, but first I`ll suggest you do a little research so as to be knowledgable.
For openers the Arkansas Troopers who were escorting Hillary said she had a Lady Friend or two & it wasn`t aerobics which occupied their time. Probably just a vast right wing conspiracy though.
Posted by: dudley on September 6, 2007 07:47 AMDear Phil the Phrog:
I notice you have a .fr in your address, which means that you a probably from France. Establishing that you are from the land of Phairies means you have no room to criticize. (Except for Sarkozy, who seems to be the only world leader wanting to stand up to Achmedenijadingleberry.)
Don't ya 'see' it? Don't ya understand how it works?
Step 1: "That there is an un-aroused Individual!"
Step 2: "I'm a gonna AROUSE that there Individual!"
Step 3: "Now that you've been COMPROMISED ..."
Sheesh!
For the record, I'm a hetero-male in a long-standing hetero relationship;
Homo Republican's are as easy to spot as ...
Posted by: DanS. on September 6, 2007 10:09 AMIt doesn't matter this guy to be homosexual or not. In France private life is private life, and politicians do what they want as far it doesn't interfer with their public activities. But the fact is, that he was a swashbuckler of homos. That's the worst, regarding the democat's cases.
Posted by: Phil on September 6, 2007 11:56 AMPhil??????
If as you say it does not matter whether the guy is homosexual or not....then why did you try to paint a distinction between what a Republican or a Democrat is or what they do? You cannot feign indifferance when your ignorance or intolerance is responded to.
As to your point that in France politicians are free to do that what they will with who they will privately is private & makes no differance as long as it does not affect public activity.Well, it sounds good but in France the likelihood of the object of ones intention being male or female is a 50-50 possibility with maybe a sheep or goat thrown in as a bonus.
Posted by: dudley1 on September 6, 2007 12:51 PMI was reading the Dallas Morning News and got a chuckle. The President of the Texas Stonewall Democrats. These are gay agenda'd democrats.......oxymoron??? !! anyway, he was caught in a lewd act in a public restroom.
http://www.pegasusnews.com/news/2007/sep/01/texas-stonewall-board-asks-bailey-resign/
He will not resign. So here we are. This is just a microcosm of the situation with dems/repblicans and their reactions to this kind of stuff.
Posted by: patrick on September 6, 2007 02:09 PMPatrick - As I have stated many times: Republican scumbags resign. Dims become honored leaders of the Dimocrat Party. Nixon resigned because three honorable senators went to the Whitehouse and said he should for the good of the country. BTW, Clinton's crimes were worse than Nixon's. FBI files. IRS. Campaign finance irregularities. The most corrupt administration in the history of this country. The Dimocrats didn't have three honorable senators to tell Clinton to resign and he became the first elected president to be impeached. The lead scumbag in a party of scumbags.
Posted by: Denny on September 6, 2007 02:33 PMDen:
Ye Olde Man Craig is decidedly NOT apologizing nor stepping down. Hence, your argument & stance are but moot.
Plus, with but two cats, two dogs, one canary and the stray squirrel that eats here every day, am I in violation of the Roswell/Dunwoody Rule on animal ownership? Granted, I'm over towards Snellville, but how long until your repressive-rules swamp us?
Posted by: Dan S on September 6, 2007 03:26 PMDan - Yep! The scumbag changed his mind. So we have one exception to the rule and we're still not sure of that. He put in a caveat that if he couldn't clear his name he would resign. The leaders of his party still want him to resign.
You obviously read the article about the family deciding to move rather than getting rid of two of their dogs. What have I told you about going off topic?
Posted by: Denny on September 6, 2007 03:45 PMMew!
All I know is that feeding-times are sancrosanct.
My apologies. Democrats get caught with girls.
:)
Posted by: Dan S on September 6, 2007 04:15 PMDenny- have you seen that HBO special on Barry Goldwater? it is riveting. It talks about how he went to Nixon to tell him to resign. It was kind of bittersweet for him. he hated nixon.
Posted by: patrick on September 6, 2007 04:35 PMI want to see a better airing on Craig. From what I can make out, what he pled to was his altercation with the cop in which he tried to throw his weight arround. It may just be a bunch of bullcrap. We don't know until it has its full airing. True, that on the surface, it looks REALLY bad. A senator getting caught in a gay sting. Then he pleads to just make it go away. I can understand some one doing that even if they are innocent. The cost of a legal fight to keep your name clean can cost more in terms of money and public smashing then just coughing a few quid and sayin see ya. If he is guilty, he needss to go bye bye.
Being St. Paul, a bastion of liberal stupidity, makes me wonder. Thats how it goes in many back water dem strong holds. I had to do personnel investigations on several occasions to clear officer candidates who got caught in yokel stings. Sad to say, that often the future officer would spill a thousand or more to get the deal "expunged" when indeed it was BS. That tended to embolden the bad regimine. Hopefully Pigseye Landing aint like that.
Some OSI from McConnell, and FBI agents did a sting a few years back on a bad cop up by South Sioux City Nebraska. Turned out the trooper watched for Military windshield stickers. He had a judge in on the deal. They were both anti military.
The one thing I don't get in this whole charade is what law did he break? Is it against the law to tap feet in a bathroom shitter? I think this was an over-zealous cop who flashed his badge a little early. Shouldn't have he at least waited until the homo was in the stall with him (I'm starting to get queasy here)?
I think Craig is definately a peter-puffer and should resign after this whole thing, but seriously, what law did he break?
Posted by: CharlieDelta on September 6, 2007 09:07 PMCD wins!
CD gets the prize for astute observation! That's the thing, you can't have a wide stance or make a sound in a public restroom as it may suggest trolling for whatever. Now a law has been broken?
I'd just like the guy to go away, he tried and failed at a lame cover up. Bub-bye. I think that the over-zealous cop should get gone as well, did you hear the interrogation thingy? How weird.
CD wins not only our love and admiration, for the term 'Peter-Puffer' But an Ov Glove, a pallet full of Ricearoni and to top it off, a free subscription to Saturday Boobages! (Applause!) heheheheee
Peter puffer? You slay me.
Shouldn't have he at least waited until the homo was in the stall with him ?
As a foreigner, I don't understand what law he would have break in this case either...
But your sex-and-politic scandals are beyond me.
Is this really this hard to be a gay politician in your country?
Posted by: Prosper on September 7, 2007 08:20 AMProsper.....
Yep....it is that hard, when it comes to finding dirt on someone from the Republican party, the Democrats pretend they have moral values & are offended by actions which they overlook when a Democrat either indulges or advocates.
What is repulsive for a Republican is an asset if you are a Democrat .......ask "Swimmer " Kennedy the unindicted murderer, the Senior Senator from Massachusetts & voice of morality for the Democratic Party. I know some of you Democratic loyalists will be upset, but the fact remains Mary Jo is still dead after being left to die in the back seat of Swimmers car.
Posted by: dudley1 on September 7, 2007 11:11 AMProsper - It's OK to be gay if you're a Dimocrat like Barney Frank. It's OK to be a murderer (Ted Kennedy) or a racist (Robert Byrd). If you're a Catholic priest it's also not OK to be gay. It's also OK to bugger congressional pages if you're a Dimocrat (Gerry Studds) but it's not OK to send them dirty e-mails if you're a Republican (Mark Foley).
Get the picture? It's a double standard. The Dims love gays unless they're Republicans or Catholic priests. In other denominations, like Anglican, it's OK for their priests to be gay. When a Republican turns out to be gay, the liberals repressed homophobia surfaces. Also, their repressed racism surfaces if a black decides to stray off the Dimocrat plantation. Ask Michael Steele and Clarence Thomas about that.
Dan - I read in the paper this AM that Craig was now not intending to serve out his term. So I still stand by my Republican scumbags resign, Dimocrat scumbags are honored members of the Party.
Posted by: Denny on September 7, 2007 01:26 PMAnd today I read that he is blaming the Media for investigating him.
Not that he did anything wrong and/or is a STRONG advocate of his own RESPONSIBILITY!
Be careful... he'll throw YOU & your blog under the bus if it allows him to retain his perks!
