Denny- have you seen that HBO special on Barry Goldwater? it is riveting. It talks about how he went to Nixon to tell him to resign. It was kind of bittersweet for him. he hated nixon.

I want to see a better airing on Craig. From what I can make out, what he pled to was his altercation with the cop in which he tried to throw his weight arround. It may just be a bunch of bullcrap. We don't know until it has its full airing. True, that on the surface, it looks REALLY bad. A senator getting caught in a gay sting. Then he pleads to just make it go away. I can understand some one doing that even if they are innocent. I had to do personnel investigations on several occasions to clear officer candidates who got caught in yokel stings. Get the picture? It's a double standard. The Dims love gays unless they're Republicans or Catholic priests. In other denominations, like Anglican, it's OK for their priests to be gay.
