Yannow, I have a special bookmark folder in Firefox called Blogging Fodder. The only bookmark in there is for the Atlanta Urinal and Constipation. I get so much good stuff from that paper and today is no exception.
Let's start with Name That Party in Atlanta. We have an article about wasteful spending by the Atlanta District Attorney's office. In none of the thirty paragraphs in the story does it list DA Paul Howard's party. Paul Howard also has a history of incompetence in trying cases so this is really no surprise.
<Don Surber>So, is Paul Howard a Dimocrat or is he a Dimocrat</Don Surber>
Maybe the AJC thinks it's a given that any black politician (his picture was in the print edition) in Atlanta is a Dimocrat.
Posted by denny at September 12, 2007 01:01 PMHey Cuz, as you might remember, I was elected to a four year term on my County Board and served on the Finance Committee. This is something that should have been noticed by the Finance Committee on your county board immediately. What kind of imbicels are on you board anyway? Don't you people down there know how to elect competent people? How did this DA get in office? Was he appointed by some other idiot? And why hadn't the external auditors caught this? Maybe Fulton County can sue the auditors for incompetence. That's the American way.
Posted by: Steve on September 12, 2007 02:51 PMSteve - Fulton County is majority black as is the city of Atlanta. They are trying to prove that they can be just as corrupt and incompetent as white politicians, even more so. The previous mayor of Atlanta, Bill Campbell, is serving time for corruption, but got off on the bribery count because he had an OJ jury. This is what happens when you have one party rule, doesn't matter which one, but then living near Chicago, you know that.
I talked to your mom Saturday. I'm gonna try to make it up to St. Louis in early November.
Posted by: Denny on September 12, 2007 03:01 PMThe latest from AP. No mention of party anywhere, so I assume he's a D. Never heard of the guy, myself.
