Paul, Dan is right this time. I'd dread to think what Hillary might do given the powers voted to the president by the Patriot act. Its one thing to give those powers to a competent person, or a half wit for that matter, another thing to give them to a person who is pure evil.

I personally like the Patriot Act people. It cuts through the red tape and allows our law enforcement agencies to cut to the chase and catch the bad guys. Can it be abused? Absolutely. Should it be abolished then? Absolutely not. That's why it is important to elect conservatives who will appoint honorable men and women into those powerful positions that oversee the Patriot Act. I think President Bush has done a wonderful job surrounding himself with competent and honorable Americans.
