Posted by: B....... on December 1, 2007 08:00 PMI am always amazed by some of the musical talent that is found online. Thanks!
Posted by: John C on December 1, 2007 10:52 PMOh, man, that was amazing! I have to share that video with my husband's family. His great uncle (Art Smith) is the person who came up with the ocarina part to that song. He was a musician who worked with Disney studios for many years, and who also worked as a session musician with, among others, Hugo Montenegro. The story goes, he was on his way to meet with Montenegro when he found a cracked ocarina lying in the parking lot. It became part of the sound.
(And now I have a hankering for another spaghetti Western evening ...)

They left out the "Huff Po Huffpo!"-part but otherwise, an EXCELLENT Choice!
Hoist the Bravo Zulu pennant, Den!
I'm off the find the luxuriant, full-orchestra piece that even comes close.
I would LOVE to hear the Blown-Eyed version & attempt at this.

I had to sign up with a u-tuber to send this to my son,and to my Dad since my e-mail program is crashed out at the moment. My son brought home a beautiful Uke from Hawaii, I think the thing is made of Walnut. He plunked out a few annoying notes on the thing, and I wanted to El Kabong him with it. Sergio Leone is grinning at this one.
