Yay Fred!
Didya notice the moderator didn't say "global warming"? She said "global climate change". They're hedging their bets.
Thanks to Kerrcarto.
Posted by denny at December 12, 2007 10:20 PMGo Fred! That's how it should be. The lib 'moderator' was made to look like the fool that she really is.
She didn't want to give him more than 10 seconds for a response. When are the short-bus liberals going to answer a real question? Oh wait, that's a rhetorical question...
CharlieD,
You disappoint me. You aren't supposed to say "Global Warming", you should say "Climate Change".
And NEVER say "Liberal" - as in "short-bus liberals".
The correct term is now "Progressive".
This is how we replace old words when they're thoroughly discredited. Please get with the program.
Al-
Huh?
She didn't wan't to even give him thirty seconds? WTF? Oh, wait...
...she didn't want to get shut down. Bummer.
Posted by: CharlieDelta on December 13, 2007 12:50 AMAsk the Democrats for a show of hands of those who think that global warming by man is a big enough problem to kill the jobs of millions and destroy the economy of America.
Posted by: Woody on December 13, 2007 12:57 AMWeather change is upon us. Just ask the folks in the midwest, they went from summer to the dead of winter in 24 hours. Kind of reminds me of my days in Ks in the early 70's.
Posted by: Scrapiron on December 13, 2007 01:11 AMGood thing for her she didn't ask for a show of middle fingers.
Posted by: Jim - PRS on December 13, 2007 01:45 AMI could never run for office. If I was any one of them up there and asked "Can I have 30 seconds" and she rudely said no as she did, I would have called her a cunt and told her to get a real moderator. If I was her, I'd felt a lot of pain the way more than one of the gentlemen said they wouldn't answer via a show of hands. What the hell was that, grade school?
Posted by: Ray on December 13, 2007 09:24 AMClimate change instead of global warming just tells us skeptics that we are right and they are wrong. They are trying to have it both ways. If it's hot then it's global warming. If it's cold it's climate change. Not enough hurricanes, climate change. Anyway you get my drift.
Posted by: gene on December 13, 2007 10:26 AMThe reasoning here is clear, from the liberal perspective.
Demand a YES/NO answer to a complex question, then spin the responce to suit your own biases.
Ask a Liberal and a Conservative this question: "Do you agree with the way President Bush is running the Iraqi War?"
Liberal: NO, Bush lied to get us into a war for oil, and besides he stole the Presidency. We should get out NOW!
Conservative: NO, he should take the restriction off of the ground troops and let them go in and win the war so that they can come home victorious.
NYTime Headlines: Liberal and Conservative alike disapprove of Bush's Iraqi War Policy, demand immediate withdrawal.
Fred should have asked the moderator, "Does your Mother know that you are an idiot? Just answer Yes or No!"
Posted by: StanW on December 13, 2007 10:45 AMOh, I think this is just the kind of thing I wanted to see along with about twelve million other viewers: a shutdown of a lib moderator by the entire panel, led by good Mr. Thompson. Thank you, thank you, and thank you, Fred.
That's the only good answer to those kind of back-you-into-a-corner politics.
Posted by: David in Knoxville on December 13, 2007 11:07 AMWho the hell let a black man on stage at a Republican debate! I thought we were a bunch of racist. Personally I hope Fred taps Allen for VP though.
That moderator is lucky Fred didn't walk over there rip her arms off and beat Ron Paul to death with them.
Posted by: kerrcarto on December 13, 2007 11:24 AMWay to go Fred!
I'm experiencing global warming. Yesterday it was 10 below when I got up, and this morning it was only 5 below. Damn AGW.
Maybe they can get Larry Craig to go for a show of feet.

Posted by: Dudleys Diary on December 13, 2007 12:58 PMGlobal warming has killed 28 in the midwest.
Posted by: vetfromhell on December 13, 2007 05:32 PMhate to use the word, but I am. That moderator was a cunt.
Posted by: Paul on December 13, 2007 10:35 PMPaul, in this case it's appropriate and deserving.
Posted by: CharlieDelta on December 13, 2007 10:51 PMYeah Paul, not a good choice of words. This Dem does give Fred Kuto's for his statement. I Really wish that he was a dem. We here in the Sioux City Iowa area are beyond sick and tired of these people. Every other day it is another debate. I had the pleasure of listening to McCains Mother on the radio this morning. She seemed very nice but still trying to cram her views down our throat. I just wish that they would all give it a rest.
Posted by: Teresa on December 13, 2007 10:54 PMTeresa, Fred would have to commit Seppuku if he was a Dem.
Posted by: kerrcarto on December 13, 2007 11:09 PMHey, check my post out above. I get credit for the first to use the C word describing that wench. Teresa can you please tell me why it wasn't a good choice of words. I've always believed if the shoe fits wear it. There's a lot of people that wish the current GOP leaders were Dems. Mostly the Dems themselves. They are witnessing their party implode upon itself the likes never seen in history before. Clinton and Obama are going to glove up and take it into the ring. Pony Edwards is realizing he has wasted A LOT of money on a losing battle. Pelosi, Murtha and Reid are paying the price for their pettiness. These recent turn of events would be quite comical for those of us with saner minds if it wasn't so sad that libs elected these "Maroons" (see Denny's French bashing post) in the first place. There's nothing sweeter to me than see the stupidity and lunacy of the left be their own unhinging. No help needed from the conservative. Oh yeah, that moderater is a cunt. I heard her again last night sucking up to Clinton.
Posted by: Ray on December 14, 2007 06:21 AMTeresa, I'm in the other corner of Iowa. Well, working in Iowa but living in Illinois. I absolutely dread that Iowa has to be the state where the presidential wannabee's have to parade around for three years. Even speaking as a conservative, I'm so sick of all of them. I'm all for other states having their primaries or caucuses before Iowa, maybe next election they'll leave us alone.
Posted by: Steve on December 14, 2007 12:02 PMFirst off, Teresa, I think the man-made global warming/climate change agenda is a friggin' scam. I'll bet you folks in could use some "global warming" right about now, eh? A "show of hands" question by the moderator was beyond stupidity because the climate change topic is extremely complex and loaded with political agendas. That's why Fred did what he did. Tell you what, you liberals want the rest of us to take global warming seriously, then tell your buffoon spokespersons to stop dumping tens of thousands of tons of carbon into the atmosphere on their way to their precious global warming summits. What a crock.
And secondly, Teresa, if the candidates aren't cramming their views down yours and the rest of our throats, then how are we going to know who the best person for the job is? If you don't want their views crammed down your throat, turn off the television or radio or both. That's the beauty of the Off Button.
And Merry Christmas, Teresa. Oops. I said, "Christmas" to a liberal.
Posted by: Paul on December 14, 2007 12:50 PMRay - sorry about that. You indeed did use cunt first. Shame on you, Ray. You're so vulgar.
Posted by: Paul on December 14, 2007 12:53 PMHey Paul, I aim to offend. That's why I love it when libs troll here. It's like shooting fish in a barrel. I had a client come in to my office the other day, and without getting into all the details, he made the comment, "I was offended by that remark", and I shot back, "I bet you vote Democrat don't you?" He answered in the affirmative and then wanted to know why I asked that of him. It was priceless. My staff was rolling on the floor laughing. It would be even more hysterical if it wasn't so predictably true.
Ray, that reminds me of a story. I was appraising an office building in Yakima, WA. The building owner told me that one of the tenants was Senator Patti Murray. My remark, "Sir. You charge her extra rent, right?"
"Why would I?"
"Because she's a Democrat!"
He then called in one of his buddies who is a retired Republican State Representative that just so happened to be in the office and then repeated my remark.
The office floor degenerated into uncontrollable laughter. That was one of my favorite job experiences. Funny as hell.
Posted by: Paul on December 14, 2007 07:16 PMTeresa....
Fred will never be a Democrat.......Far to intelligent to be a Democrat. Besides he would not qualify as he accepts reality & respects truth.
I guess you will have to become a Republican if you wish to support one who respects the truth & accepts reality.
Posted by: dudley1 on December 14, 2007 07:33 PMGood one Dudley. But Fred is very much an actor and we know that here. He just "act's" in his commercials. He gets kudo's for that because it is so amusing.
Paul, I am not even going to reply to your stupid post for obvious reasons. You are Way out there.
Posted by: Teresa on December 15, 2007 12:34 AMLook in the mirror, Teresa. And you don't even know me so I'd check that big mouth of yours.
Posted by: Paul on December 15, 2007 11:40 AMTeresa - Ronald Reagan was also an actor. One of our country's best presidents.
Posted by: Denny on December 15, 2007 12:56 PMTeresa....
Lets not forget Fred was a Senator long before he became an actor so his professional stage presence was established long before commercials.
Fred happens to be far more qualified then any of the Democratic wanna-bes. Whether he will capture the nomination is suspect but he is certainly a better choice then any of the Democrats.
Posted by: dudley1 on December 15, 2007 01:58 PMNoted Denny but Fred is just too smooth and we tend to hate fake people here. You should know that coming from the Midwest. I agree that he is Very charismatic but that may cost him votes here. Too fake and too much an actor.
My vote is for Hillary for now. But way too early to say. It will Not be for Obama. I will vote for a repuke before him.
Posted by: Teresa on December 15, 2007 10:49 PMYou should know that coming from the Midwest.
Did GOC Central move and not inform me? Dammit.
Posted by: CharlieDelta on December 16, 2007 01:17 AMTeresathefake,
WHO are you kidding? You don't vote. You work for the STATE. Your Union dues are going to the DNC. Why do you need to vote? According to you, if your guy doesn't win, your vote didn't count, it was all a sham anyways. GWB stole the Election right? No wonder your head is so far up AlBore's fat ass...I bet that you were laughing when you heard GWB mention cleaning up baseball in his last inagural speech. People on your side giggled at that remember? (I like baseball) Yet another thing to add to GWB's Legacy. I bet that chaps your ass...
But getting back to what you said about Fred. He's too smooth? How so? He's just a cool guy who says what he believes. I like him, I'd hug him. Unlike you, I happen to really LIKE men. I'd say that I was sorry that you have crap to vote for on your 'side'-but I won't because dummycraps are just crap. You and your ilk are responsible for voting in Pelosi and did she do anything to bring your son home? Nope, she named a few post offices, approved pork spending and started investigating Repukes to help Hillary in the '08 elections. Wow! No big suprise to me. Didn't she also want to shorten their work week? Did she do anything for global warming lately? Where is your outrage? Why haven't you started a letter writing campaign? Why don't you just buy someone for sex, or a treadmill and blow off some steam?
LisaKay is a REAL WOMAN! You go girl.
Posted by: Paul on December 16, 2007 11:49 AMOh, LisaKay, I So love your drunken posts. For the record I Do not work for the state and I do indeed vote and have for many years.
I must admit that I admire your passion for your dislike of liberals becuz I feel the same way about you narrow minded repukes. Your Nancy rant made me laugh as well as the treadmill one. You are one crazy biatch and thank you for the laughs.
Posted by: Teresa on December 17, 2007 11:51 PMWhere is your outrage? Why haven't you started a letter writing campaign? Why don't you just buy someone for sex, or a treadmill and blow off some steam?
- I have to agree Teresa Sheehan; you need to get laid, and soon...
Posted by: CharlieDelta on December 18, 2007 01:02 AMCD: Apparently when one strikes a nerve with a "liberal" one is automatically branded a drunken poster. I'm so glad that we now belong in the same club! Cheers buddy! *Clink* ;)
Posted by: LisaKay on December 18, 2007 08:01 AMWelcome aboard LisaKay! Whatta ya say we get hammered and slap around some insane libs? *Clink*
