No negativity implied, but it sounds as if he's got "Hey, Jude" on his mind.
Either that or the Beatle's are Master Plagiarists!
Listen to it again and see if there are riff's lifted right from "Jude".
Nonetheless, it's music and music soothes .....
Posted by: DanS. on December 15, 2007 09:17 PMThanks a lot DanS! Now I have "Jude" stuck in my fuckin' head. I'll prolly wake up tonight to take a piss and won't be able to get back to sleep 'cause that song will be looping in my brain. Thanks a lot! :-)
However, I didn't hear "Jude" in that tune, just a mellow song to wind-down to after a day workin'.
Gotta love Saturday Bach! Thanks Denny.

Song? You heard singing? In Saturday Bach? Now I *KNOW* I'm right!
:)
Hope that makes it better, better, better LaLaLaLah! LaLaLaLah! LaLaLaLah! Yer screwed, Dude! ^;^
Posted by: DanS. on December 15, 2007 10:29 PMDan - Sorry, but Bach wrote that a few hundred years before the Beatles. Sounds like some plagiarism to me. Remember Harrison lost the plagiarism suit about My Sweet Lord. Doo lang. Doo lang. Doo lang.
Posted by: Denny on December 16, 2007 01:27 AMOh, I AGREE! That's the whole point.
Our Saturday Bach musician is not to blame. In fact, the whole comment has to do with the striking similarity between the Maestro and the commercial appeal as marketed by the Beatles!
EXCELLENT point about Harrison and "My Sweet Lord"!
As I say: it's MUSIC and I accept what it offers as grace & balm regardless of the commercial appeal. I'll be happy when I can get Dah Doo Ron-Ron, Day Doo ron-ron down to bluegrass & banjo.
Three-Chord Blues demands no less in the infinite variations available. It's BACH who sets the standard & the Stage!
Here's me on Saturday in response to Saturday Bach: I plug in the GOOD speakers, settle back and revel.
Nothing but THANKS coming from here!
Posted by: DanS. on December 16, 2007 06:48 AMI still can't get that fuckin' song out of my head DanS. Thanks alot!
Nah, nah, nah, nah-nah-han-nah;
