Snowmass Day 4

It snowed some more lat night: 10 inches. Damn that global warming!
Today was overcast and the visibility was much better. Plus, the snow was packed better.

Did some beginner drills in the morning and in the afternoon, after putting me on a different ski and moving the rig forward, I skied much better. I didn't fall much. I skied through some chop and made lots of good recoveries. I skied at the level that I know I am capable of. Getting on and off the lift was better as well. The runs were a mixture of blues and greens. Lots more fun. Ryan and Sherry even skied part of a run with me. If the weather cooperates, I should be at the level I was at the end of the Shepherd crip trip last year.

Challenge Aspen has awesome instructors! I can't say enough about them.

I saw my ski buddy Hannah last night and she was gonna ski with me today but she twisted her knee. She's now an instructor at Challenge Aspen. Having skied with her for five days last year, I know that she is a good one. She's the one who sounds just like a friend of mine. Last year I called her by my friend's name a few times.

Eating Mexican tonight and then it's off to the hot tub. Sore muscles.

I hate to be nice but I can't help but admire you. You're a crip and you ski (badly). I skied once (worse) when I was a teenager and cursed in front of nuns. There are certain things one shouldn't do. Cursing in front of nuns are three of them. I will never ski again. I dive too but diving is easy. I don't think I would dive in your condition. You are one tough bastard.

Remember, Mexicans are best when they're prepared al pastor. Boiling or frying 'em just makes them chewy.

I was just thinking I don't know as I'd eat Mexican food and then hot tub it. Maybe the other way 'round.

"Eating Mexican tonight and then it's off to the hot tub."
LOL... mmyeah, not a good time to join up with a guy in a hot tub that's for sure ;-)

Sean - Not so much tough as stupid!

Peggy and Anna - With the jets running in the hot tub who would notice the extra bubbles?
