Really? I'm shocked! Dick sent me this story about the rocket scientists in Florida.
Mysterious hit-and-miss glitches cost some voters in Miami-Dade and Broward counties the opportunity to vote Tuesday in the presidential primaries. In some cases, it might have been voter error -- people who failed to register properly as a Democrat or Republican. In others, the problem might be attributed to forms mailed in November to one million Miami-Dade voters, state officials said, forms that might have confused voters about the party affiliation on their records.
No big deal if they're Dimocrats since their votes won't count. Hold on there Baba Louie! Thunder Thighs won. What do you want to bet that the Clinton machine will make damn sure those delegates are seated at the convention?
My friend Bou writes about her voting experience.
Posted by denny at January 30, 2008 04:28 PMWhat are the Dimocrats upset about? They can always graft names off headstones for more votes.
Posted by: Marksman2000 on January 30, 2008 07:23 PMThere were so many disasters in my county. It makes me nuts. How long have we been doing this voting thing? And Palm Beach County can't get it right yet? We have electronic voting and people didn't get the Presidential slate... people who were registered correctly. Our precincts were messed up. It pisses me off... all the folks I knew that had problems were Republicans.
Posted by: Bou on January 30, 2008 09:58 PMdoes this mean that rev jesee will be marching arm and arm again with the rich palm beach jewish democrats? WE SHALL OVERCOME
Posted by: patrick on January 30, 2008 10:55 PMBou - "all the folks I knew that had problems were Republicans". You broke the code.
Posted by: Denny on January 30, 2008 11:11 PMFlorida - Why McCain won.
I am a conservative but I am registered as a Republican so I am "allowed" vote in the primaries.
Well, the real story that went on in Florida voting and went unreported is that THIS WAS NOT A CLOSED ELECTION.
The "rule" is that if you want to vote in the Repub primary, you have to register at least 30 days in advance of the voting. In typical Florida bullshit style, independents who complained were given the right to vote. If some asshole independent walked into the polling place and DEMANDED to be allowed to vote, they were "allowed" to.
Somewhere in excess of 3% of the voters who voted Republican were either independents or Democrats.
These are the "liberals" who voted for McCain.
I be disenfranchised.
4 more years of Bush, but will be far worse with McClinton.
This will be a seriously bad 4 years for conservatives and our country.
Raised taxes, amnesty, loss of more freedoms (speech), etc.
On top of that, McClinton has a screw loose. I know, I know he's a war hero. Why because he got his stupid ass shot down and was tortured for 5 years. And he doesn't have a fucking screw loose? No one is allowed to "interrogate" him about that.
We've had to put up with a liberal, clueless embarrassment for 8 years, now we may end up with a true psychopath in the White House.
Ever see how quick McClinton is to lose his temper as his eyes roll back into his head.
Great!
Posted by: Willie on January 31, 2008 07:51 AMIf the ticket is McClinton vs. Clinton, I will stay home and not carry the Republican torch.
NO MORE RINOs.
This way I will not get angry that I contributed to empowering a liberal who fucks us at every turn. The irony is that McCain has distain for Republicans and conservatives.
Let Hillary have it and then when the country gets really fucked up, people might get smart and finally vote for a conservative next time (if there is one out there).
Willie, I feel your pain, but I beg to differ. When the liberals get control, they implement socialist policies. Once these are implemented, no matter how uncsuccessful they are, they are almost always there to stay. They become an entitlement and they never go away. I'm sure you can think of at least five of these without trying. My philosophy is to fight to the finish. If we get socialized healthcare, it will become permanent.
Posted by: Steve on January 31, 2008 05:37 PMI am with the long line of people that Steve is in....Thompson is gone & I still hope that Romney pulls through but am resigned to voting for McCain over Clinton as the socialist policies she would push for are so in opposition to what this country was founded for we must oppose any attempt to put a Socialist like her in power.
When I review this election cycle from the first day the Liberals in the MSM began talking it as the only real story some 7 years ago until the nature of the candidates wo have floated to the top of the cesspool was apparent I feel like I am in a nest of Skunks & have to hold my nose as I search for the way out.
I personally hold Bush to blame for this fiasco as he could have done so much to refute what the LSM said & did as well as the lies of the Democratic party. He did nothing & even tried to outspend the Democrats ...we will be left holding the bag, damage control is our paramount duty now.

dudley1-
Lots of good points in there, but I have to disagree with you on one of 'em. Your generation won't be left holding the bag, as it shouldn't be. If I remember correctly, you're in the same generation as my Father.
That was a time when men were men and stood for what they believed in. My generation (and those to follow) will be left holding the bag. Why? Because as years go by, this Nation gets weakened more and more by pacifists and pussies. The latest term is now "progressive". It should be called "regressive".
The decline of a once strong Nation with BALLS, reduced to a pussified nation of apathetic pacifists (aka liberals).
Fucking makes me sick! To my core...
