WTF? Make up your freaking minds. Just last week, we were told that it was global warming that was responsible for the last two years of mild hurricane seasons. Let's face it. They had to come up with some reason for the last two hurricane seasons not meeting their predictions, while still maintaining that global warming is a crisis. Well it turns out that that study must be wrong, because global warming does cause more severe hurricanes.
WASHINGTON — When the water in the hurricane breeding grounds of the Atlantic warms one degree in the dead of summer, overall hurricane activity jumps by half, according to a new study.
So there you have it. Global warming causes severe hurricanes and global warming prevents severe hurricanes. Pick one.
Posted by denny at January 31, 2008 01:50 PMI don't know about Hurricanes, but the ABC local
was interviewing a guy named Pasternack or
something over at JPL in Pasadena.
He predicted another year of drouth for Kalifornia. They ask why we had had 4X more rain in January than all of last year. Good question.
His prediction was based on a La Nena condition in
the Pacific. La Nena "was a Naughty Girl".
I was awe struck by the scientific depth.

It's NOT Global Warming that we should worry about! It's the erosion, from both topside and bottomside, of that thin layer that makes Earth unique to all of us.

I'm calling you out. What the FUCK does that mean?
of that thin layer that makes Earth unique to all of us.
What the FUCK does that mean?

It means that we here on Earth are nibbling away at the underside of the atmosphere .... and it means that them cosmic Gods a tad further out in Space have their own agenda.
Think of it as being in a tent in a State strange and far, far away-distant from your local-understanding: The tent becomes your lifeboat.
The tent becomes your prophylaxis (would you prefer I said 'prophylactic'?); the tent does not and will not claim to be the end-all, be-all of the entire debate; but no one can claim that the tent does not serve a purpose.
It is to that extent that I simply imply that the tent is worth saving against any & all contention.
SHEESH! Y ya gotta make me THINK so hard AFTER I come home from Work??? :)
Be Of Great Cheer! My 20th textbook was published on Thursday!
Posted by: DanS. on February 1, 2008 01:23 AMWe might not know exactly where hurricanes come from, but listening to algore and his Chicken Little ecoretarded alarmist minions opine about their global warming certainly explains where bullshit comes from.
