Love it!
Posted by: Alan on February 28, 2008 08:42 PMThese past few weeks have had to be terribly difficult for those that worship at the church of the Goracle. Folks, this is like shooting fish in a barrel with all this cold weather stuff in the news all the time.
Posted by: Ray on February 28, 2008 08:46 PMOf course the sign reads, "California". Surrounded by millions and millions of fucking idiots...
Posted by: CharlieDelta on February 28, 2008 09:48 PMFucking idiots, and fucking illegals. Sad that both groups are highly fertile, and produce more dumbascraps.
Posted by: Jeremy on February 28, 2008 09:53 PMCharlieDelta,
What do you mean ", "California". Surrounded by
millions and millions of fucking idiots..."
You mean there are still more of them that can move here? Oh Shit!!
Please stop sending us your tired and poor masses who think; billions in 30 year bonds to
to repaint classrooms is an investment in the future of our children, 8 1/2% sales tax improves the economy, and an increase in the gasoline tax will resolve our sixteen billion dollar ($16,000,000,000.00) state deficit.
Ofcourse if you just want to visit D-land or
Univrsal City, come on down.

Not sure where you reside, but that was a shot at myself for staying in this liberal dumper called Mexifornia. No matter where I turn, there are liberal turds surrounding me...
It's embarrassing here in Mn as well. One of the stinkiest liberal turds ever is running for, is it the Senate or Congress? (I tend to block out his commercials) Of course I'm referring to icky Al Franken. Gag!
Posted by: LisaKay on February 29, 2008 07:09 AMLisaKay - you can always hope he'll choke to death on a big chunk of lefse at one of his campaign stops! Over here in the mitten, we're caught in a liberal beartrap: a Canadian governor (Dem) who's taxing the mess out of us because she can't convince manufacturing to stay put, the mayor (Dem) of Destroyt is caught up in a text messaging scandal with his former chief of staff (and paid $9 mil to a couple of cops to STFU about it - from the city's coffers - but was still found out), and the two damn, I mean dem, senators, Levin and Stabenow, elected by Destroyt unions, follow the traitorous lead of the DNP. Embarassing? When people think of Michigan, all they think about is Destroyt. If LA is the City of Angels, Destroyt is the City of Assholes!
Posted by: Chappy on February 29, 2008 08:53 AMOne more thing - thanks to AGW we've been saddled with an additional two feet of snow above the annual average this year.....so far. And only another month of snow season remaining! Just think - without AGW we'd probably be digging out until July! Thanks for preventing a lot of snow-shoveling heart attacks, Al - you the Man!
Posted by: Chappy on February 29, 2008 09:03 AMI was in my school's library last week and overheard two very stupid college students discussing the weather. First, they were complaining about all of the snow (hello- you're in the middle of NEW HAMPSHIRE- if you don't like snow, go to a different college!). Then, the conversation became more amusing as they were talking about how it was all global warming. The guy said something like, "What people don't understand, is that global warming cools the earth." Sorry, but if that's the case, then call it effing global cooling! Jeez. The previous two winters didn't see much snow, and people were blaming THAT on global warming. Make up your minds!
And yes, we do have a ton of snow up here and are supposed to get more this evening. Last night it was almost 20 below zero at my house. My parents live in the Adirondacks (way upstate NY) and it was almost 30 below. Think Algore's ever visited these areas in winter? hahaha
Wanna see what it's like here right now? Google Cannon Mountain, Franconia Notch, or Mt. Washington. I live a few minutes from them.
Posted by: AnnaD on February 29, 2008 10:47 AMGlobal Warming = Global Cooling
Just rememeber, when a lib takes a position and/or makes a statement, think just the opposite and you know that position is correct.
They absolutely gets everything wrong, backwards and upside down.
Very strange phenonmenom.
Guarantee, it will be shown, in fact, that the earth cycle is heading into a cool phase.
But the LSM (Merchants of Chaos)will drop it and you won't hear about it anymore.
Posted by: Willie on February 29, 2008 12:37 PMCharlieDelta,
No shot at you intended. I'm right here
in Kalifornia. About as far as you can get
from The Peoples Republic of Santa Monica,
without leaving LA County.
My property taxes help pay those bonds off.
I thought you ment Kalifornia was surrounded
by idiots. We have enough already thankyou.

Posted by: Pete on February 29, 2008 12:41 PMGentlemen--I live in Georgia and use to live in California. I often miss California, despite all its problems. There is nothing here that compares to the north coast, wine country, great entertainment and dining in San Francisco, Monterey, Carmel and so much more. Sometimes I feel like I moved to a third world country where no one is concerned about the environment, litter and trash all over the highways, too many cars, horrible smog in Atlanta, and asshole Yankees. As bad a reputation as California has, you need to leave it to appreciate what you have...and people in California are nicer. So there!
Posted by: vicki on February 29, 2008 08:17 PM...I might add that the *true* southerners are wonderful, warm and delightful people...and damn good cooks!
Posted by: vicki on February 29, 2008 08:19 PMvicki - No snark intended here. Just a question. Why did you leave California?
Posted by: Denny on February 29, 2008 10:29 PMNo offense taken. I'm beginning to wonder the same thing.
Posted by: vicki on February 29, 2008 11:50 PMvicki,
I never said the people in Kalifornia weren't
nice. I have met some of the greatest people you could imagine here in Hollywood, LA CA.
But anyone giving a Fin to a 25 year-old on crutches that claims to be a disabled Viet Nam War
Vet, is an idiot.
I could go on and on and on. But just because some people are nice, that does not mean they are not idiots.
And by the way, when you talk to your friends in
San Francisco and the ACLU, could you mention the B.S.A.
Tell them that the Boy Scouts of America is not
"Homophobic, anti Gay, or interested in Gay bashing. The B.S.A. is just not a "Sex, Sexuality, or sensuality oriented club. The ACLU
might try "LAMDA" if they are looking for acceptence.
Oh! And San Franciscans will happily abash Christians (I am not Christian) at their yearly
Folsum Street Sex orgy. But you will not insult
Islam. Islam may not turn the other cheek, Yellow spine.
Ooh it's late. Next time ask me what I really
think of San Fran Crisco.

I'm not sure when you left, but I'm sure you have a lot more peace of mind these days. The escape from the rat race and liberal bullshit is something to be desired. I hope to find it in AZ one of these days. I can do without the beach, the gangs, the hippies and the crap that comes along with it. I guess the only reason that I'm still here is that I'm not willing to give it away just yet. I grew up here and have seen this place turned to shit, and I'm not willing to back down or give up just yet...
Call me American.
Posted by: CharlieDelta on March 1, 2008 01:39 AMAs an Englishman I spent two months recently driving around California in a hummer..it seemed to piss a few lycra clad idiots off...I enjoyed my contribution to global warming and hope to further contribute when I return in summer.
Posted by: thud on March 1, 2008 09:57 AMthud--lots of people own Hummers in California, I doubt that you made an impact or impression.
Insult California all you like. Living in the Northern California, Sacramento, is a lot different than living in LA or the Bay Area. The Central Valley and Sacramento is conservative compared to the rest of the state.
S.F. is an hour and a half drive from Sac, I went there for entertainment, shopping, good restaurants and the sophistication of the city..and despite the whackos who live there, it is a beautiful town. Personally, I don't give a damn about their politics, gayness or anything else weird.
I'd rather live around environmentalists than those who don't give a damn about pollution, littering, cutting down every tree to build friggin' homes, or shooting every animal that walks on four legs. The entire state of Georgia is FOR SALE. It is appalling to see what has been done to farm land and the mountains by developers. No one seems to care!
You want to see Mexicans--visit the day labor hangouts in Norcross right outside of Atlanta.
Looked like Los Angeles to me.
Wanta see gays -- visit Atlanta, the south's capital for gay and lesbians.
Wanta see drugs, gangs, ghetto and blighted areas -- get lost in Fulton County of Atlanta. My tax dollars supporting those losers?
It's good to live in other areas to appreciate California. Will I move back? Most likely to the wine country region or the north coast.
Besides, the attitude towards educated,career-minded, independent women is better in California. I don't like being treated like an idiot because I'm a single older woman. That really pisses me off!
Posted by: vicki on March 1, 2008 10:57 AMI saw a commercial this morning that made me do a double take. It was a GE commercial that showed a tree uproot it self and walk over to an eco-freindly house that creates less greenhouse gases. My daughter asked why I was laughing, and I told her that trees breath CO2. Making houses that emit less CO2 essentially is suffocating the tree. GE is banking on the fact that people are too stupid to figure that part out.
Posted by: Steve on March 1, 2008 11:56 AMVicki my friend, who pissed in your Wheaties this morning. Why the anger at your neighbors all of a sudden. You don't typically paint such a broad brush with your feelings. I'm a yankee. Not an asshole Yankee (at least not to most I know :) but a damn Yankee since I moved here to stay. Also, just so you understand, your comments about those who throw trash on the road and litter indiscriminantly. That should be directed at the locals. I should know. I married one. They seem to think that opening up a window of a moving car and throwing out a Burger King Bag full of shit is just fine. My wife does it (correction, did it, I have since trained her better), her dad, his dad etc. etc. It's a local thing. As far as the land being eaten up, I agree, but again, its' mostly locals. My brother in law inherited 22 acres of prime real estate from his grandpa when he died a few years ago. It was a family farm in the family since the 1800's. The man wasn't even cold in the grave before said brother in law sold it to a developer for a couple million. So now the beautiful property I used to fish on is a flattened dirt bed right now and my dumb as dirt BIL is a millionaire that has no idea how to manage the money. I give him 10 years before it's gone. I'm sure that northern CA is beautiful and I've always wanted to go there, but when the locals refer to this area as God's country, even I an agnostic bordering on atheist, have to agree. Nothing says beauty like a morning fog rising out of the Appalachia/Blue Ridge chain. You need to understand that most of us here on the "right" side of the country think of California as LA, Hollyweird, SanFran etc. I'm sure that's not all CA is about, but it's what it is most famous for in general. Hopefully the northern part of the state can maintain it's identity, but after seeing how the northern part of our state is changing, I wouldn't hold out much hope. And as for the career minded, educated, single older woman, I think that's actually sexier than a 20 year old bimbo any day of the week so chin up and enjoy the beautiful area you are living in. Remember, it could be Fulton County.
I'm bored and disappointed, Ray.
Posted by: vicki on March 1, 2008 09:10 PMYou need to understand that most of us here on the "right" side of the country think of California as LA, Hollyweird, SanFran etc.
Raymond-
Just 'cause you on the "right" coast think us on the "left" coast are fucked up doesn't make it so.
vicki is on our side...
Posted by: CharlieDelta on March 1, 2008 10:00 PMI've never been to CA or Vicki's new state. I'd love to visit both places. I'm a damn yankee but I never ever have littered on the road ways. I know that their are goofy goings on in every state or locality. So what? I'd love to visit San Fran and see the Golden Gate bridge. I wouldn't spend a damn dime in that city but that's in no way a slam on Vicki or anyone else who loves it there. San Fran and CA is a beautiful place to be. Unfortunately the commies have run amok and it's a good thing that we have 24 hour cable news and internet to FINALLY expose the buffoonery that tends to go on there. Code Pink vs. The Marines? Pahlease.
Crazy shit like that passes for sane in my Twin Towns as well, the best thing is exposure. Most people would fall over in shock if they knew the crazy agenda of their own City Council. My advice, google your local city council calender and attend the meetings-I hope that some of you will!
California is full of hot women. San Fran is full of them. 5 to 1. Some guys are not interested. LOL
Posted by: vetfromhell on March 2, 2008 07:49 PMWhat amazes me..........
California,Oregon,Washington & the rest of the Left coast was settled & developed by independent self reliant Americans who believed in individualism & the unique dream for the ability to make a success of ones self.
Who would have ever thought these people who chanced danger & adversity to accomplish all they did would have passed on to their offspring the traits of worthlessness, greed & being lazy willing to trade off basic freedoms for a handout.
I`ll bet the farm those who have passed into history were they able to come back & witness the squandered heritage their offspring have created would have a different opinion for abortion regardless of what morally is correct.
I do not believe in abortion myself but if any of my children or their offspring would become as much of failure, as has most of those currently residing on the Left coast, I do not condone murder but I do understand why some animals eat their young.Nature has a way of achieving proper balance , why not mankind?
