This week let's examine moral relativism and how Christiane Amanpour thinks that the waterboarding we have done to a few terrorist suspects is the same as the genocide that occurred in Cambodia after the Dimocrat Congress stabbed South Viet Nam in the back after we lost the Viet Nam War. History does repeat itself. The Dimocrats want us to lose the Iraq War which, of course, will lead to genocide in Iraq. Dimocrats: the party of genocide.
Amanpour assumes that American "waterboarding" today is exactly the same thing as the genocide of millions as perpetrated by Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge in the 1970s. Amanpour seems to think that waterboarding is the same thing as what Pol Pot did with prisoners that were "whipped raw, their fingernails were yanked out, they were hogtied to wooden bars. Prison guards mutilated women's genitals, ripped off their nipples with pliers. And worst of all, babies were ripped from their mothers' arms and slaughtered."
Yep! Seems exactly the same to me. Howza 'bout you?
So I'll give her the AOTW Award. Thanks to Bob for nominating her.
She is, of coarse, more than qualified to be AOTW this week as well as most any other.
But Denny, we did not lose in Nam or any other war. Johnson handcuffed us and the dimocrat congress surrendered.
Our troops are winning and again the dims are talking surrender.
Piss on their graves.
Funny that She didn't compare it to the great
Socialist Joseph Stalin. As the truth comes out,
Joeseph makes Hitler look like a rank amature in the field of genocide.
Now don't give me any crap. The USSR never achieved Communism. It was a "Socialist Empire".
As per Marx, Socialism is a transition phase between Capitalism and Communism. Under Socialism the State owns everything. Under Communism noone
owns anything.
But far-be-it for a Dim to slam a Socialist.
AOTW, She has my vote. She probably equaits
spanking a brat to the punishments by Vlad the Impaler, "Dracula".
????
How does anyone 'stab someone in the back' after having already 'lost'?
Doesn't this indicate that the Party Of The First Part did not 'win'?
Not Quarreling! Just wondering about the choice of words.

I still have a faded t-shirt that states:
"When I Left Viet Nam, We Were Winning!"
Of course, that was circa 1971; when I donned that same tee just outside of Saigon in 1975, I was greeted with glares, frowns & not a little bit of anger. By Our side.
Might it be 'cause I hadn't washed it over those ensuing years? No ...
Just remembering ....; just recalling.
Carry On.
Posted by: DanS. on April 12, 2008 01:30 AMI think Jimmah Cater is in the running for the next ahole of the week. the cocksucker is going to go meat with the Humas leader in Syera. What a worthless piece of crap he is.

Ahh, Fuck It! Claudia was RIGHT!
Reminds me of the drive-in movie theater that wondered what on Earth could be wrong with advertising "Cunning Stunts" on the marquee outside for all the World to see.
Yep! This is America!
Where Even the Dolt is Held as King!
(but dun't DAIR say a werd agaomst Jeebus!)
How'm I doing?
Some of the initiations I've gone through were probably rougher than a lot of the waterboarding that goes on:
NegDef jungle survival training
Crossing the equator on a Navy ship
College frat
Making Chief (back in the 60s)
I wonder what survivors of true disasters or inhumanities think about this nonsense (John McCain being the exception, not the rule).
Posted by: ET on April 12, 2008 10:36 AMChristiane Anampour is a Muslim herself, and if she has studied her own culture even a little bit, she knows that Muslims torture their subjects with many times the ferocity of waterboarding. She has committed a knowing lie here, and we need to remember that every time we are in a situation where either she comes on the telly or her name is brought up. It is up to us to teach the gullible kool-aid drinkers that she is not some elder stateswoman, but a simple tool of her own faith, unable to have an original thought.
And Dan S., since you asked, you're doing very badly. Please go back and re-take the third grade.
Posted by: Rivrdog on April 12, 2008 11:14 AMIn hindsight, I'd take a few minutes of waterboarding over completing six years of college in four years time while starting two companies, raising a kid and leading a Cub Scout Pack while teaching elementary kids how to use a computer and doing free graphic design for the school and for everyone that I was related to at the time my same age who had the time to get married and needed wedding invites, food and a florist. At the time, I was coaching basketball and raising the neighbors dang kids as well. I'd take a few minutes of waterboarding in place of being allergic to everything in my life and being blessed with a degenerative nerve disease. I'd gladly take a few minutes of waterboarding if I never had to hear Christiane Amanpour's annoying voice ever again. Her name sounds pretty, but she is one worthless puke indeed.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not whining. I love my life, but that's one bitch that I abhor.
DanS - We signed a treaty with the North and got our "peace with honor." When we pulled out we promised financial support for South Viet Nam, as well as material support, e.g fighter jets. The Dims cut off funding, the North violated the treaty and invaded the South and the carnage began: death, re-education camps. I would call that stabbing South Viet Nam in the back. Perhaps you have a different name for it.
greg - It was a tossup between Jimmah and this week's winner. She just nosed Jimmah out.
Posted by: Denny on April 12, 2008 11:49 AMShows how the Lame Stream Media propaganda machine has worked. We won the war in Vietnam, pulled all combat troops out, turned the government over to the people, then the democrats surrendered. I don't care how much they lie, the blood of up to 5 million is on the hands of every democrat in the country and it won't wash off. Happy nightmares you dick lickers.
Vietnam Vet
Carter has to have a lock on first place for next week....
Posted by: PokerPlayer on April 12, 2008 12:28 PMDanS - you have to fight through the spelling errors sometimes to see the point. This is much like I and others have to fight through your drunken benders to see yours. Look at the bright side......you only have to fight through one of them.
LisaKay - now THAT is putting it into perspective. nicely done.
ET - you had me until college frat. That was some damn good times there. My eldest is off to college next year. color me green with envy.
Posted by: patrick on April 12, 2008 12:37 PMAnyone here been though S.E.R.E school? Waterboarding? c'mon on. Its really not that bad. Theres much worse out there. Oh yeah and the lefts bullshit arguement that if we do it They will do it to our captives doesnt wash. News Flash: They do abuse our captives. Abuse being defined as killing someone by cutting their head off. If there wasn't any reason for S.E.R.E school we would't be sent .
Posted by: Echo5Bravo on April 12, 2008 04:04 PMIt will be a blessing when Carter is talking to the worms.
Amanpour is a CNN whore...what do you expect?
Posted by: vicki on April 12, 2008 04:35 PMDanS......
Did we win....After Tet the North Vietnamese thought so until Walter Cronkite started claiming we were losing & all the Liberal Democrats & Rino`s chimed in. Hell, peace feelers were offered then withdrawn after the North Vietnamese seen what was developing....My source for info, a documentary on the life & times of General Giap the leader of the North Vietnames military who acknowledged they asked for & would have accepted a negotiated peace treaty after Tet.
In actual truth...Did we Win, No! The liberal`s made Goddam sure we did not & they continue to this day hating America & sucking up to our enemies.
DanS...you should not make fun of the inability to spell correctly for graduates of the educational system you are a part of.....maybe it is an example of the cultural phenomena "Honkybonics" similar to "Ebonics" the language of choice for some of the liberal Educational Intelligensia in California.
How are you doing?........Well,about the same level as TDO for comprehension & common sense, but likeable.
Posted by: dudley1 on April 12, 2008 06:02 PMPatrick -- my first experience with college initiations was at a MacMurray in Jacksonville, Illinois, in the late 50s. I thought it was Boy Scout stuff to be perfectly honest with you, but some guys couldn't hack it at all, blubberin, slobberin, 'fraid they were gonna die. The peanut butter turds floating in apple cider in the bedpan didn't get me, nor did the vermicelli disguised as nightcrawlers. The one I never quite saw the reasoning behind was what upperclassmen called the "green willie," which consisted of having us strip down to our skivvies after dark in October in northern Illinois and get soaked with a garden hose when we came up with a wrong response to their stupid freakin questions.
The most disgusting initiation was crawling around through garbage chutes and getting whacked on the ass with lengths of fire hose as part of the shellback metamorphosis ritual.
And by far the most dangerous was having to spend the night in the jungle trying to evade Marines out by the Weapons Station at NAS Cubi Point. Part of an exercise training us to melt away into the jungle in case an enemy overran the base so we could come back and sabotage stuff to deny them its use.
Another guy (he was GOOD, woulda made a great SEAL) and I not only avoided capture (mostly by not using our weapons [which were loaded with flour bullets ... kinda like an early paintball]), but we hiked back up to the station and got some midrats at the chow hall and slept in a school bus. Next day we invaded the Marines' camp and captured a major, who was REALLY pissed at his grunts.
Some guys couldn't hack it at all, but since I was successful, they put me with King Leo and his Negritos training young pilots for jungle survival ... how to capture monkeys and snakes and monitor lizards and cook 'em, where to find water, how to camouflage, and that kinda stuff.
Never went through SERE, but did get a taste of interrogation techniques once and really didn't like it even a little bit. Worst part was being put in a box while guys screamed obscenities and threats at me. Even though I knew it wasn't an enemy, those guys were convincing. Been mildly claustrophobic ever since. I think they knocked off that kinda training back in the mid 60s some time. NOT fun.
About that same time, I had been working on some radio gear and a spook (CT-A brancher) asked me if I could fix his TTY machine 'cause he couldn't get hold of his tech. I played with it a while and got it cleared up with the bias/range control. Only way to check, of course, is look at the text for character skips or transpositions and such. Didn't know it, but what I was reading was T/S.
Another guy came in and put a .45 on me and said to sit down and shut up as soon as he saw what I'd been reading. About an hour later a SecGru O-5 came in and "debriefed" me. Debriefed? . . Hah! That guy was good, I can tell you. He found out stuff about me that I didn't even know. 'Course I wasn't trying to deceive him or conceal anything, so it was probably textbook for him. Those two experiences with interrogation were quite enough for me.

Bill Clinton was President for 8 years & did nothing.
Posted by: dudley1 on April 15, 2008 06:56 PMBill did nothing for 8 years? That's funny. I never had to pay $3.for bread or almost $4. for a gallon of milk. All under Dubya's watch. And you people wonder why he is so disliked.
LisaKay, We have All had a hard life. Stop whining. I felt so very blessed tonight when my son called me from NJ. He is back in the states and will be dropping off troops all night down the east coast. It feels so good to be able to breathe again.
Posted by: Waterbu4 on April 15, 2008 10:52 PMWaterbu4......
Since when does the President have anything to do with the price of bread or milk? Here is a clue , almost 1/4 of the corn crop is now being utilized for the production of ethenol. Farmers everywhere are planting more corn & less grain. The result is higher prices for grain & even higher prices for corn to feed farm animals. This means commodities like Bread & Milk cost more.
It is the Liberal environmentalists who initiated this corn/ethenol BS.It would be nice if when environmentalists jump on a bandwagon they had some idea of where it was headed or the consequences/cost of the trip.
It would also be nice if people had the ability to recognize who or what is really responsible when the wheels fall off the wagon.
Posted by: dudley1 on April 16, 2008 08:43 AMdudley1-
Not sure if you are aware, but Waterbu4 is (TDO), so that explains the ignorance of her comments...
Teresa (TDO) _ Why do you even want to display your incredible ignorance? Or maybe it is stupidity. As Ron White says, "You can't fix stupid!" Why do you think you have to pay so much for bread and milk? I'll 'splain it to you in one word: oil. We don't have enough of it. Why? Because you liberals will not allow us to drill for it in ANWR and off the coast. You wanna know whom to blame? Look in the mirror. Dubya wants to drill. You libs won't let him. It's gonna get worse under President Jug Hussein Ears and on top of that, he'll raise your taxes. Happy days are here again!
Posted by: Denny on April 16, 2008 05:33 PMCharlieDelta...
I kinda thought so,the term "Dubya" was suspicious. Now why I am I not surprised she would hide behind a false name. Could it be she realizes how stupid she is?
Posted by: dudley1 on April 16, 2008 07:13 PMdudley1-
I only knew that because I have emailed her before and remembered that is her email address. As far as her realizing just how dumb she is, I wouldn't hold my breath...
