The Boss Endorses The Snob

Bruce springsteen endorsed Jug Hussein Ears.

New Jersey rock star Bruce Springsteen endorsed Democratic Sen. Barack Obama for president today, saying "he speaks to the America I've envisioned in my music for the past 35 years."

Well we know he's not speaking to those bitter rednecks with Bibles and guns in flyover country. Howza 'bout you Bruce? I guess you prolly don't think much of those bitter people either.

In a letter addressed to friends and fans posted his Web site, Springsteen said he believes Obama is the best candidate to undo "the terrible damage done over the past eight years.

Could you be more specific about the damage. WTF would you know about that? You're a millionaire fer chrissakes. Have you not been selling any records? Are people not going to your concerts?

Unemployment is lower than it was during the Clinton years. The stock market hit a record high. It's down now, but it's still higher than it was during the Clinton years.

Bush inherited a recession and then 9/11 hit. Still our economy recovered. Now we may be in a recession. By the classic definition (two consecutive quarters of negative growth) we will not know until July.

Gas prices are up, but the Dimocrats don't want to do anything to help us achieve energy independence. They will not allow drilling off the coast or in ANWR. Both parties have bought into ethanol, which has driven up the price of corn (one of the worst things to make ethanol from) and other food prices. It's funny that the Dims are all pissed off about "tax cuts for the rich", which allow people to keep some of their own money, but see nothing wrong with giving agribusiness money in the form of subsidies. The Dims solution to our energy crisis is seizing money from oil companies to throw down a rathole of "alternative energy".

I'm a SRFİ and since January of 2001, when Bush took office, I've seen my net worth rise by 50%. No damage here.

The bard of the Garden State is known for his lyrics about the struggles of working-class Americans, particularly in the economically ravaged factory towns of the Northeast.

Yep! Bruce, those are the folks that Jug Hussein Ears said were bitter and cling to Bibles and guns. Your hero insulted all of those people you say you support. But then, you are an elitist rock star. It's only natural that you support an elitist condescending snob.

Brucie sung about working class people, but he never was one (soda jerk at 15 doesn't count).

Besides that was a loooong time ago.

He writes songs, sings for his daily bread and basically sounds just like all the other liberal snob elist assholes when he talks. He can't carry an arguement or debate, just makes general statements that would easily be shot down in a discussion. Then he simply reverts to name calling.

I do something simailar as name calling when reduced to anger and hatred, esp. when it involves male bimbos like Brucie.

I use foul language.

So....................

FUCK HIM AND THE FUCKING TUNES HE RODE IN ON!

Brucie is a wannabe Always was a wannabe, always will be a wannabe until he becomes a has-been wannabe. Fuck him just fuck him.

Is this the same Bruce Springsteen that while opining about us poor working class folk has no problem with his concert tickets selling for hundreds and hundreds of dollars while he rakes in millions? Fucking hypocrite cocksucker.

Like most of his fellow elitist shitheels, Springsteen hasn't got a fucking clue about the real world. It's only natural he supports another elitist shitheel like B. HUSSEIN Obama. When these type talk their lips move but what they say comes out of their assholes.

So did Sam Nunn. Ugh.

I love me some bruce. seen him 4 times. As I've said before here in this venue, he is my minstrel, my court jester. he entertains me. I could give a rats ass for his political thoughts. Like many of his kind he lives in a bubble, has little education, and little need for practical thought and pragmatism to make his money. I say "sing monkey sing!! then be off with you."

I grew up not far from Asbury Park. Saw Springsteen a few times when he was just playing at hole in the wall taverns where he would just sit and talk with us "simple" folks. He was dumb as a bag of bricks then, and I see he hasn't changed since then. As someone above said, he's an entertainer. That automatically makes him dumbed down for anyone to get into that line of work can't have too much intelligence.

I've had the displeasure of knowing "The Bard of Jersey" for a long time. (I used to do studio keyboard work in the day, he asked me to play with him. I politely told him to bugger off).
He was an asshole back in the day and is a bigger one now. He lives in a sprawling home in the town of Rumson, NJ, I wonder how green that manse is? He donated a fire truck to the Freehold Fire Company about twenty years ago. Haven't heard of any other great charity work since. He lives off the fat of the land, yet professes to speak for the common man. Not this one. Another left wing elitist snob. Haven't seen him around in years, don't want to. The man doesn't have a clue what America is all about.

I never cared for his music, and I sure as shit don't care for his politics. Gregor is right. Springsteen lives in Rumson, a place where working class people don't live but they do work there cleaning the houses and tending to the lawns of people like Mr. Springsteen.

Never liked his music, and, now, I don't like hispolitics either.

I have listened to a number of good New Jersey bands.....some years back Jersey had a reputation for being an incubator for the creation of very good traveling road bands which quickly formed ,merged, dissolved reformed & honed their talent.

Bruce Springsteen is not & never to my taste measured up to what constituted good. I think he & his music sucks.

Is this Sunday Metal? The only thing cool to ever come out of Bruce S was Courtney Cox dancing on the one vidi. Oh wait, she sucks too, as an actress. I was never a fan of his music. As Laura Ingram says, shut up and sing.
