Saturday Bach

I heard this on the radio the other day and figgered it would make a great Saturday Bach. It's the Prelude from the Lute Suite #4

They are wonderful. And Bach. I'm listening to them again, and again. What a magnificent, soaring finale.

Excellent piece of music, beautifully performed.

Interesting to note the player on the left holds his guitar in the "conventional" position ( resting on the raised right knee), and the player on the left holds his in the "classical" position (guitar more upright and left knee raised).

Not often you see classical guitar played in the "conventional" hold, you would need pretty flexible wrist and fingers to get at a lot of the notes.

Quick edit of last post: "Player on the RIGHT holds his guitar in the classical position"- Uurgh. PIMF

PQ - Interesting comment. I'm very new at watching classical guitar playing. I'm grateful for everything I learn.

PQ - Did ya also notice that the guy on the left is using a pick rather than his fingers? He's a flat picker and not a classical player.
