Must have been pretty good. It has already been purged.

Posted by: Rurik on June 20, 2008 11:57 PM

definately. Amen!

Rurik - Reload the page and try again. It's still there.

It makes me glad to see there are still Republicans out there that arenít afraid to speak the truth, and havenít caved in to politically correctness. Bravo.

Posted by: Lange on June 21, 2008 12:23 AM

Brave...Smart...True... A winning combination.

Posted by: Claudia on June 21, 2008 12:46 AM

Man, that guy must have a BIG set of Brass Balls...Bravo, Thaddeus !

Posted by: Sandy G on June 21, 2008 03:17 AM

Thank You Mr McKotter! How brilliant was that presentation!? It's too bad that they didn't have a camera to pan around on the demmy's reactions. I'm so hugging that guy!

Posted by: LisaKay on June 21, 2008 04:22 AM

Substitute "Republican" in that presentation where "Democrat" was shown, and you have a 360 degree view of politics.

The Repubs have NOTHING to crow about right now, aside of rhetoric and attack campaigns.

It's an oligarchy with just one side torpedoing this nation a little more than the other. Get me some real CONSERVATIVES to vote for.

Greg, republican should scream that gas went up 11 cents per gallon 'per year' for six years under a republican congress (not good, but), gas has went up 12 cents per gallon 'per month' under a democrat congress. Who's raping the public, democrats, democrats, democrats, and you're their cheerleader. I wonder how much more destruction Reid and Peeeeloshi can do to the economy before democrats buy some rope and visit D.C.

Posted by: Scrapiron on June 21, 2008 02:21 PM

Scapiron - They'll be too busy watching American Idol like idiots like Greg who doesn't seem to understand that Republicans like to cut taxes, not raise them, and that Republicans want to win in Iraq, unlike Dimocrats who want to lose. As to wasting money, the Republicans are guilty of that. That's why they lost the House and Senate.

Posted by: Denny on June 21, 2008 04:05 PM

Why can't we send this to all Democrats...they can't read so maybe this will get the point across

However It seems the chamber is empty...both in congress and their Craniums

Srapiron and Denny:

Thank you for your comments.

You have made an assumption that I am a Democrat.

However, you have proven my point about rhetoric and attacks.

Have a Rebublican day,

Posted by: Greg on June 21, 2008 07:29 PM

Greg - You made an idiotic comment. You also assumed I was a Republican. Had you read more of my posts you would have found out that I'm a small "l" Libertarian. You also equated Dimocrats and Republicans. You are stupid. QED: You are a Dimocrat. Thanks for playing. Drop by anytime. Maybe you might learn sumpin'.

Posted by: Denny on June 21, 2008 09:18 PM

Yeah. It is fun. Sorry I made you so mad, just having a bit of fun myself.

We do seem to agree that we are in deep doo doo. Not sure how we dig ourselves out of it.

Frankly, I am neither. I have tried always to vote for the best candidates. Too bad there are not any better ones out there running that can can get on the ballot.

Rail on me all you want. Not the first time I had someone disagree with me. It wont be the last.

My guess is it isnt your first time either.

Posted by: Greg on June 21, 2008 09:38 PM

I do have a plan to get us out of it. first however you must define "deep doo doo". I will define it as: dependence on foreign oil, increasing entitlements, and appeasing and bending to those who mean us harm. Not neccesarily in that order. some basic steps to "get out of it"

1. drill
2. turn back medicare and medicaid
3. overtly define what we are looking for from our enemies and why. If they do not comply use some combination of special forces, muscle flexing, and ordinance.

now anyone would agree that this is a much more "republican" platform then "democrat" platform, so most of the independents that gather here will support republicans any day and twice on sunday over the dems.

There you learned something. tell your friends about us.

Brilliant except for the lose in Iraq since we lose if we stay and lose if we leave. Might as well leave. I wish the Democrats were creative enough to do one for the Republicans.

Posted by: Hyrum on June 23, 2008 02:32 AM

Democrats will appease America's enemies...

Posted by: CharlieDelta on June 23, 2008 05:05 AM

so where's the standing o and roaring applause for this guy?

Posted by: cathy on June 23, 2008 10:30 AM

Greg is like most starry eyed Democrats......does not really have an understanding of what this country is, what it represents & what it takes to maintain the freedom we have enjoyed for all these years.
It is probably not his fault per se as the educational system we have in place is turning out obedient Liberal Mushheads instead of educated thinking individuals capable of independent thought.

As an example is Greg `s apparent belief for Republican rhetoric & attack campaigns while this has been the liberal Democratic mantra since Bush was elected. For eight years we have had a liberal socialist blizzard of anti-Bush rhetoric, for eight years we have had liberal socialist newspapers, publications ,TV & radio finding fault with everything he has done or not done, for eight years they have resorted to lies, false documents & repeated these very same lies even when their own hero`s have said the same things. He has the gall to say this is a Republican thing?

Those who have read my comments know I have serious disappointment with much of Bush`s domestic policy but the economy is better then when Clinton was in charge, we have not had any major domestic terroism since 9/11 & we are killing fundamentalist muslim terrorists on their soil not here. I shudder to think where we would be had either Gore or Kerry have been elected......or where we will be if Obama wins.

Greg say`s we assume he is a Democrat...Well DUH! if one spouts the Democratic line, excuses Democratic failure & traitoristic activity.....just what would you expect. OK! my bad ....he is merely stupid, hope he feels better.

Did we lose when we stayed in Germany, Japan, S. Korea? No. Was it the easiest approach? No. Did we lose when we left Vietnam? Yes. Was it easy? Yes. Will we lose if we leave Iraq and Afghanistan? Yes. Is it the easiest approach? Yes.

Posted by: Schmidty on June 23, 2008 02:38 PM

dudley1 -

Thanks! It's so good to have you back and to read your no-bullshit, logical, realistic, point-by-point comments.

Yes,I have returned....still quite weak, doctors say 3-5 weeks for recovery, right now I think 5 weeks is more to the point.I have truly missed being a part of this web site during my ordeal & am glad to be back even if somewhat subdued.

Schmidty - brilliant. Dudley1- having Dudley at 70% is better then most of us at 100%
