I work in the construction industry and have worked in the oil related construction business as well (that nasty offshoot of Haliburton, Brown & Root).

I do not know where the Dems get their info. Actually I do, they make it up to suit their "reasoning." But if the dreaded Haliburton or some other company in the oil business was released to drill for oil in Anwar, there would be flowing crude within 6 months.

Not 1 year, not 5, not 10, etc.

The politicraps just do not want us to drill.

When Alaska was purchased (was it Fulton's Folly?) I'm sure the intent wasn't for the oil, but to protect the Caribou and "pristine" fucking waste land that it is.
