AOTW 7-11-2008

Let's make it that renowned RWPP Jesse Jackson. Normally I'd admire someone who wanted to rip Jug Hussein Ears' nuts off, but having Jesse mad at him is gonna make a lot of white folks start to like Jug Hussein Ears, especially if he throws Jesse under that big ol' bus he has been throwing everyone else under. Heck. This might have even been orchestrated by Mr Waffles' campaign. This could even be his Sista Souljah moment.

So for helping out Jug Hussein Ears, I'm giving Jesse this award.

"Sista Souljah moment"?

I heard that on as many diverse outlets as Rush, MSNBC & CNN this morning on the TV!

I thought this was "GOC -Home of ORIGINAL Thoughts, Cares and Concern"?

Down to this very day & moment, any reader here can't share with me what a McCain Presidency advocates or would stand by!

Ergo, we go with the like·li·hood of an Obama-Presidency.

And here you are, fresh from the FREEDOM of an extended Road Trip, advocating a concerted-attack on the "New Guy" before he even comes aboard!

DAMN-Glad am I that I wasn't assigned to YOUR Ship if that's what one could expect upon assignment.

Den, as a 'WelcomeHome', you need to understand what Jesse Jackson JUNIOR had to say about his Dad:

"You Ain't Helping Make Things Better!"

As the Dad of 3 military Veterans, I ask you for but constructive, FACTUAL criticism ... and ORGINAL criticism ........... rather than crap recycled from the 1980's ....

AND DON'T ATTACK ME!!
I am but the messenger! ATTACK THE MESSAGE as you see fit and I will both read & relish what you have to say.

I do not want to hear un-researched 'talking-points' as Gospel-Truth; you dis-honor me as both an educated-person and a thoughtful-individual who reads you daily. Further, I think you dishonor those simpleton-tramps who read here and have but what you post as a means of sexual stimulation.

In short, what I have discovered is that we have at BASE in common is this:

WE both 'know what the FREEDOM of the Open-Road can both offer and take away'.

It seems that a LOT of your Readers seem to not understand (or perhaps forget) that the Big Game is to get gasoline prices up beyond $6/Gal just prior to the Election so that WE are all so pissed-off that we just plain implore Our Nominee to just plain SMACK Someone!

Which is where GWB sez something-like "I can't POSSIBLY leave such to my duly-elected successor! Therefore, I am suspending the results of the recent elections and will remain Your President until no one im America wants to drink, drug, or have sex with someone outside of marriage."

Sounds a bit CRAZY, eh?

Well, you have not been paying attention to the like of the Military Commissioning Act passed last Fall by the deer-in-the-headlight Congress!

AND DON'T ATTACK ME!!
I am but the messenger! ATTACK THE MESSAGE as you see fit and I will both read & relish what you have to say.

I may be a moonbat; indeed, I may be a virtual-moonbat; but SOME OF YOU are advocating being seriously-out-of-touch with what is going on in this, MY BELOVED AMERICA.

And You know what I say to You prior to hearing from you?

I say it, just like I hear it:

"FUCK YOU DUMMY YOU ARE AN ASS AND DON'T KNOW YOUR ASS FROM A WHOLE IN THE GROUND!!!"

And I have a Response to that that I would LOVE to bestow upon you, Den.

I READ here!

I hear you're a VietNam vet Dan. So who did you serve with? The NVA or the Vietcong?

Posted by: matterson on July 12, 2008 01:57 AM

DanS...what are you trying to say?????
I am always leary of those who say>>"Now don't call me stupid.." then they go and say something stupid, as you say don't attack the Messenger...then you go and do this....

Welcome back but try to be more clear in your rantings...
seriously after all you seen in Barack....Don't you really fear him being elected????

Posted by: ty guy on July 12, 2008 02:22 AM

DanS said not to attack him and then he proceeds to say:

"FUCK YOU DUMMY YOU ARE AN ASS AND DON'T KNOW YOUR ASS FROM A WHOLE IN THE GROUND!!!"

before we say anything...... allrighty.

DanS, so to be clear you truly believe, as the KOS kids do, that Bush will suspend the results of the election? please answer.

Posted by: patrick on July 12, 2008 03:00 AM

patrick:

What I am saying (and hoping is not true!) is that the engineers within this Administration do NOT do that.

matterson:

I hear you're a VietNam vet Dan. So who did you serve with? The NVA or the Vietcong?

Actually, that's a damn-good question!

Which benchmark are we using as a measure-stick?

Posted by: Dan S. on July 12, 2008 04:35 AM

I had just got my order from a Mickey-D's the other day and was settling in to salt & pepper it and I overheard the following:

Bigger Guy In Overalls: "Bama's Mother is from Indonesia and his PaPa is from the Congo! We need to Nuke that joint!"

Smaller Guy In Overalls: "Where's Indonesia?"

Bigger Guy: "Over by Hawaii, Asshole!"

That there is so much wrong with this made me wonder:

"Why are American-Citizens so stupid and yet so-enamored with the judicious-use of WMD's"?

I came up with no answer ... other than to not piss off the Ogre(s).

Posted by: Dan S. on July 12, 2008 05:12 AM

Hey, Den:

You never mention which guns you tote along when you are On The Road;

Why is that?

Posted by: Dan S. on July 12, 2008 05:27 AM

Dan, I'm calling BS on your McD's story above. Your freakin brain is so fried you wouldn't know if you were in a McD's or asylum (for proof, read your first post above). You are way too fucking off the reservation dude and why you haven't been hauled off in a white jacket is a testament to the fact that our system is currently overworked with folks who are just like you. So now GWB is going to announce he's not giving up the presidency huh? Wow, that would be so cool to see that happening. You're question should read "Why are American-Citizens so stupid and still allowed to vote." Because you sir, have no business determining which direction this country goes in.

Posted by: Ray on July 12, 2008 07:31 AM

Well, GETTING BACK ON TOPIC, I think this little tiff betwixt The Reverunnnnnnnnnnn Jacksunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn & Hussein Jug-Ears COULD be a carefully orchestrated plot to curry favor for pore ol' Jug-Ears from all us backwards, inbred redneck-type Bigots like me....Sorry, Skeezix. It ain't gonna work, pal. I'm STILL not gonna vote for you, not because you're a Nigra, as me gran used to call 'em when she was being nice, but because you're a fucking libtard socialist snake in the grass, who would ruin even further moderately successful folks like me w/usurous tax rates..The "Nigra" part, does make fodder for good, nasty VERY non-PC type jokes, however, I'll give you that...-Unca Sandy

Posted by: Sandy G on July 12, 2008 08:04 AM

I wonder how many people besides Denny, some of my fellow readers of GOC, and myself have figured out the legitimate possibility this could all be staged like professional wrestling in order to not only curry favor with the "Typical White Person", but most urgently to take off heat over the comments Obama's more "Embarrassed" that many American's aren't Bi-Langual than he is that we have people living here in America who can't speak/don't want to learn (and will not have to learn if Liberals have their way)English!

Posted by: Darrell on July 12, 2008 09:50 AM

(DanS is proof that people from other planets should not attempt biting irony or sarcasm. Especially if Sanity is a second language for them.)

(ahem) Back to the subject, Obama needs to get a /really/ big bus, the way people are getting tossed under the one he has.

Posted by: Phillep Harding on July 12, 2008 09:52 AM

It was staged. So bloody obvious! Whitey sympathy for the elitist Afro-American, attacked by the "Old Guard". Jackson prolly got promised a reward. He won't be needed much in the black community if Obama is elected. Imagine: the most powerful Black man in the world in the White House. But Little Jackson will be needed a lot if Obama can't make it. "Whitey didn't want the fancy Black guy. Let's show Whitey what we're still owed".

Sorry gentlemen! It's politics. It's not honest but it's good politics. It works!

Dan S just proves that one can fight for his country with bravery but not necessarily be astute in politics. He is extremely naive and gullible.Very sad...

Posted by: Claudia on July 12, 2008 11:56 AM

Here is why I do not think the Jackson thing was orchestrated: Jackson has been conspicuous by his absence in the Obama camp. His and to a lesser extent Sharpton's skill set is in pandering for money and weighing on the conscience of liberal white people. I don't like Obama's policies either but he has been able to rise to a level that Jackson tried to but never could, without resorting to the levels of emotional blackmail.

I think in Jackson's mind this makes him "yesterdays Nigra (thanks sandy)". He cannot resort to his traditional offensive because of course Obama is black. He finds himself unequipped to deal with this and if Obama wins, his gravy train runs dry.

He is grasping at still being relavant. Was it not a local fox affiliate where he made his faux pas? 5 years ago Jesse Jackson would never be on a local fox affiliate.

Jackson is inarticualte, a big bag of hubris, and a panderer who has been dethroned. I think that he cannot stand it. This is not the kind of guy who falls on his sword for the greater good. I, like many of you, took joy in Obama's chewing up of Hillary. I think the next course in the buffet is what we are seeing now, the chewing up of Jackson. After this there ain't much on the buffet that I am interested in.......I am savoring this though.

Posted by: patrick on July 12, 2008 11:56 AM

oh, and DanS. You start out criticizing Denny for being "unoriginal" with the sister souljah and then you give us the Daily Kos mantra of Bush not giving up office? dude....I will respect your wish not to be criticized personally even though you told us:

FUCK YOU DUMMY YOU ARE AN ASS AND DON'T KNOW YOUR ASS FROM A WHOLE IN THE GROUND!!!"

here goes: your message is stupid, lacks thought, and has the originality of a #2 pencil. I do not blame you though.. you are a victim here. a victim of epidemic stupidity.

Posted by: patrick on July 12, 2008 12:01 PM

Patrick -

Dr.Snigger (Safro-Scanadian) says you cannot say "Nigra". You have to say Nafro-Namerican. ;-)

Posted by: Claudia on July 12, 2008 02:27 PM

DanS - I'm against Obama because he's a rat bastard commie. He will actually make Jimmah Carter look good. No one had to tell me that. All I have to do is listen to Obama and look at his record. He has the most liberal voting record in the Senate. Unfortunately, I'm not too high on McRINO either. He's a Dimocrat.

C'mon Danno, you are off your meds again. High gas prices are not gonna make Bush declare martial law. You are as crazy as the right wing loons who thought that Y2K was gonna make Clinton do the same thing. And it's not the Republicans who want the high gas prices. It's the Dims and the ecotards who want to force us out of our cars and into mass transit.

I didn't take any of my guns. I don't have a concealed carry permit and would worry about getting stopped in possession of a firearm.

Posted by: Denny on July 12, 2008 04:20 PM

DanS said what??????????

DanS...do you really think Bush would, could or be permitted to suspend elections & remain in office for all intent & purposes via a coup! Do you realize just how ignorant, pathetic & hysterical that statement is? No seated President has ever attempted to seize dictatorial powers in the manner you so nonchalantly portray to be on the Bush agenda.......besides an abiding love for this country & a respect for the constitution , they all knew full well the people, the legislature, the courts & the military would not let it happen.Bush if nothing else is a patriot & loves this country.

You say you might be a moonbat!..... the question is just how close to the moon do you soar not whether or not you are one.You are indeed out there my friend, the view must be great.I have read a good many of your posts which are examples of moonbattery in context...this one takes the prize.

DanS.... most of us like you despite your one-sided hatred for GWB, you are capable of some great posts & at times displays a great sense of humor. These are the contributions you have made not the garbage which is represented in this instance we prefer to remember.

DanS.....you might be prepared to annoint Obama but your expectation for & belief of joyful ascension are destined for the scraphead of history when his candidacy goes down in flames.

Now take some Nyquil , get a good night`s sleep & you will feel much better in the morning. Sheesh already!

You know, Dan S.
I was having all of these angry thoughts about how to respond to your post. You know what, you and I seem to be about the same age and from what I have read here, have many of the same experiences.
At some point, where the road forked, you zigged, while I zagged. It would be nice to be able to find that fork and fix it for you. That road is long gone. Probably paved over many times.
Sorry you are having a tough time. Hope the next fork leads you to happy. Your choice, and yours alone. You do not have to be miserable.

Posted by: Chuck from Tacoma on July 12, 2008 06:43 PM

Dan S., I never comment on your comments. I'm a middle of the road kind o' gal, but damn, even that one made me wonder. Something's not right with you.

Its all staged. From now on... consider it all staged as I think all of it is, from this latest to the attack on McCain's record, allowing Obama to come to McCain's defense. Sickening...

Posted by: Squeak on July 12, 2008 09:40 PM

A:) Chuck, yours is the very first comment that showed understanding; I will try and make you proud of me in the future.

B:) Bou: Never do I want to confuse you. I have read you long enough to understand that you have sense & sensibility; such is enough for me to continue to read you.

C:) Ray: I understand you now as being envious of my occasional-rant that actually has some basis-in-fact. YOUR occasional-rant has no such basis.

D:) Den: You have no idea of how much I appreciate what you do here.

E:) Kerrcato: Been there, tried that, it does not work if one still wants sex.

F:) dudley1: If an American such as myself cannot fly, well then what the fuck is the point? Am I to agree that I should not enterain such dream? That would negate the whole purpose of listening to music.

G:) patrick: "'FUCK YOU DUMMY YOU ARE AN ASS AND DON'T KNOW YOUR ASS FROM A WHOLE IN THE GROUND!!!"' is NOT my comment! It is what is said to ME. I tried my best to explain that; I failed. Mea Culpa.

H:) Claudia: I am confident that you live within white-linen and rarefied-air. I continue to look for your posts'.

I:) Ty Guy, I'm sorry if I go off from time-to-time, but I want to thank you for at least trying to understand. Hope I have not put a 'mark' on you.

J:) matterson: I acknowledged that you asked a pertinent question; you have yet to respond to my riposte to your's. R U just slinging shit or do you really want to know?

K:) To All: I am genuinely sorry for taking YOUR talking-points and responding to them.

1.You want to fly?......Make sure you have a plane & a parachute.
2. What does listening to the music got to do with a hysterical rant for the President plotting a coup? You must alone be thinking he possesses some extraodinary power as yet to unleashed since he was unable to get the Democrats & Rino`s to agree to even the most simple of requests during his two terms as POTUS.
3. Comment to Masterson where you said he had not responded to your riposte......This from you who owes everybody incalcuable answers to multitudes of questions?
4.Anyway ,keep posting as maybe like constipation your discomfort or distress will pass.

Somewhat closer to Terra Firma....

Run on IndyMac caused by Chuck the schmuck. AOTW material.

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/laland/2008/07/feds-cite-schum.html

Feds cite Schumer in collapse of IndyMac

An important angle in the IndyMac failure that may get lost in ominous headlines tonight and tomorrow: federal regulators pointedly cited U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., in explaining the bank's failure. In simple language, federal regulators blamed Schumer for a run on the bank.

Here's from the press release issued by IndyMac's regulator, the Office of Thrift Supervision: "The OTS has determined that the current institution, IndyMac Bank, is unlikely to be able to meet continued depositors’ demands in the normal course of business and is therefore in an unsafe and unsound condition. The immediate cause of the closing was a deposit run that began and continued after the public release of a June 26 letter to the OTS and the FDIC from Senator Charles Schumer of New York. The letter expressed concerns about IndyMac’s viability. In the following 11 business days, depositors withdrew more than $1.3 billion from their accounts.

"This institution failed today due to a liquidity crisis," OTS Director John Reich said. "Although this institution was already in distress, I am troubled by any interference in the regulatory process."

Schumer's response? In an e-mail quoted by Bloomberg News, he says: "If OTS had done its job as regulator and not let IndyMac's poor and loose lending practices continue, we wouldn't be where we are today ... Instead of pointing false fingers of blame, OTS should start doing its job to prevent future IndyMacs.''

Your thoughts? Comments? E-mail story tips to peter.viles@latimes.com.

The Dims are on a mission to destroy this country. Whether it is trying to ruin GI morale, cause a run at the banks, or trying to count illegal immigrant votes, the Dims get away with it.Funny how dems sets off spell check and dims does not.

Posted by: vetfromhell on July 13, 2008 02:42 PM

Vetfromhell,
These people dims/socialists/lefties have been systematically trying to decimate the foundations upon which this country is based for as long as I have been able to vote (my first Presidential vote was for Reagen). They continue to use change/anti-wealth/and free handouts as the mantra for their continued existence, and it has been surprising we have survived their onslaught for this long. It is time we use the legal options we have available in our country to stop these idiots from taking away any more of our rights and pushing/pulling our country into a socialists utopia. This country, thanks to this group of antipatriots, looks nothing like the country our forefathers founded or wanted us to become. They have used and abused every freedom they can get their hands on in order to push their socialist agenda. I truly believe we are at a tipping point for the future of this country, and I pray that the like of Teresa the moron, DanS and others have some sort of meltdown that prevents them from making it to the polls come this fall.

Dan S. Welcome back long time no hear from you.

Please continue to post, as I like the fact that you help to discuss the other side of things.

As much as I think GWB has fucked up things, I can no way even remotely think is goin to be able to stay beyond his time. He has worn OUT his WELCOME with far to many people, the real problem is what poor choices we have to replace him with

Posted by: Bill on July 13, 2008 07:09 PM

Ray,
Right on. Good read.

Posted by: Squeak on July 13, 2008 08:17 PM

Bill -

I don't know who you are and what you believe in. You might wonder why an old woman like me comes here and opens her mouth. It's not even my country. But let me tell you that President Bush hasn't worn out his welcome with me and all the sensible people afraid of terrorism. Of course he isn't going to overstay. But I wish he would. Like President Roosevelt did in WW2. I wish he would nuke military camps in Iran before he goes. I'm scared to death about what's going to happen in the world once he is gone.

I just pray to God that McCain is elected and that he will have the guts to stand up to the fanatics like President Bush did. I'm so fed up with people from both sides blaming him for everything under the sun. Why don't you write him a thank you card for having kept USA safe since 9/11? I'm sending him my own card from Canada. I know damn well that my country is safe only if a strong American president is at the helm of your country.

From George Orwell: "You sleep safe in your beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do you harm."

Thank you, President Bush and all your soldiers.

Posted by: Claudia on July 13, 2008 10:14 PM

Right on Ray, Reagen was my first Presidential vote. I was lucky enough to serve at the 1981 inauguration, and was about a 150 feet from the podium when he was sworn in. I was an usher. It was a scene right out of the movies, thousands of people filled the mall from the capitol and all the way to the Washington monument. When he turned at the podium and faced Burger you could just feel the power. Everyone knew that we were about to embark on a new era in this country. This whole country turned on a frigging dime, and we knew things were going to be different. As the oath was finished, Capitol Police and the Secret Service were all on their radios. The hostages had just left Iranian air space and were being escorted to Europe. I got to serve under Reagan at the White House for another year. He cared so much for this country. The city on the hill was real, he meant it all. And I believed him too.

How the hell we have these treasonous goofs now is beyond me.

Posted by: vetfromhell on July 13, 2008 10:35 PM

Dan S -

I'll be grateful if you don't disturb what you call my "white-linen and rarefied air" with your muddy thinking. I'll clap hands for your war service but not for a clear presentation of your politics.

Posted by: Claudia on July 13, 2008 10:40 PM

vetfromhell -

You're talking about my hero! I wish I had met President Reagan. You are so lucky to have been there. I go often and listen to him on YouTube. I know I'm not the only one. There will be a leader at the right moment, I'm sure.

In the next few days, I'll attempt to answer all the myriad complaints against me.

Expository

Epistemology.

You'll be glad you made the effort.

Posted by: patrick on July 15, 2008 06:30 PM

DanS......

I am not sure what you mean as to the statement of myriad complaints against you. If you mean because many question the leftfield comments or wonder as to your control over your marbles .....well, maybe this is what you refer to.

The truth is most of us like you & recognize you at times post great comments & display a sense of humor.....sometimes!

It is those times when you choose to descend to BDS,engage in conspiratorial scenarios for the POTUS or question the greatness or superiority of this country which most of us find disturbing.

As to your coming Epiphany.......

1.Expository..... The process of setting forth meaning, intent or a precise statement or definition.
2.Epistemology.....The division of Philosophy which investigates the nature & origin of knowledge or a theory of the understanding of knowledge.

Bear in mind most of us consider knowledge to be that which is factual not theoretical. If something is not proven it is an assumption or wish as in fairytale. Try to keep dreams & reality seperated.
