I get a feeling these are the ones we are training. Maybe they should pack sand in their undies ... weight them down a little!
Posted by: PeggyU on July 23, 2008 04:10 PMPeggy, that imagery, of sand in their undies, is hysterical. A shame the weight of their skidmarks can't weigh them down. That's also why the fuckers use qassam rockets, because they are typically launched from a truck. Gottdamned maggots that they are.
Posted by: Erica on July 23, 2008 04:33 PMI think peggyU is right. These are the ones we are training, but in hindsight we are training future american enemies. They should try holding that high powered rifle backwards and then give that trigger a squeeze. Funny vid though I have to admit.
Posted by: scottieballz on July 23, 2008 05:11 PMThat is one of my favorite videos. Shooting that .577 has got to kick like hell even for a non-idiot. The very first dude is fuckin hilarious.
Posted by: kerrcarto on July 23, 2008 06:11 PMTranslated to English. Holy shit! This thing can kick like a camel!
Posted by: gene on July 23, 2008 07:56 PMThose stinkbeards could fuck up a wet dream! Morons!
Posted by: CharlieDelta on July 23, 2008 08:28 PMThe video is from the website accuratereloading.com.
The site is run by a guy in Dubai. It's actually a pretty good website for hunters and shooters. It has a whole forum devoted to humorous videos like shooting the .700 Tyrannosaurus rex.
I'd give my left one to be the guy with the video camera.

Posted by: vetfromhell on July 24, 2008 03:50 AMThe guy with the beard, the last guy to fire in this video, shows they how to do it right.
Did it hurt? Probably... lol
Posted by: red collar on July 24, 2008 07:55 AMToo bad they weren't aiming at each other!
Posted by: Darrell on July 24, 2008 09:59 AMToo funny! The one before the last guy drops the gun and holds his hands up in surrender!
Posted by: Dave Hughes on July 24, 2008 10:07 AMThey're all shooting it like little girls...LEAN into it, put it FIRMLY in yr shoulder, & then roll w/it when it recoils...Yeah, it DOES kick like a mule. Get used to it. That's why God & Pachmayr make RECOIL PADS...
Posted by: Sandy G on July 24, 2008 11:30 AMThe dutch guy on the website shoots that rifle like it's no big deal. That gun has three mercury filled recoil dampeners inside the stock plus other features to make it less deadly to the shooter.
The ballistics for the 577 tyrannosaur are very close to that of a 50bmg.
The 700 Nitro express they built is supposedly even more atrocious.
Posted by: hammer on July 24, 2008 11:49 AMJesus H Obama! I started shooting guns when I was little, and I NEVER fell down! (my older boy cousins teased me and said that I would-so I didn't) This is Hilarious!

Weapons training session 101, they all flunked except the guy who raised his hands in surrender. He got a passing mark, but just barely as while it is correct to throw your weapon down & surrender.......You are not supposed to fire it.
Posted by: dudley1 on July 25, 2008 09:54 AMI'm a big guy, I've only had one rifle "give me pause" in all my years of shooting-a 460 Weatherby Magnum. I "leaned" into it pretty good, & it still kinda "reared" me up un one foot...But at the time, that was about the "hottest" thing you could shoot that was easily available. Another one that kinda got my attention was a Ruger #1 in 375 H & H Magnum... I shot it 4 times, which judging by the black & blue places on my shoulder the next day, was 5 too many (grin)...-Unca Sandy
Posted by: Sandy G on July 25, 2008 10:09 AMSandy G, My dad had a Weatherby too he still has it. When he finally let me shoot the thing, he stood behind me. It knocked me back, but he didn't have to catch me, and I knew that if I had dropped the thing he would've killed me. I was bruised as hell later on but I lived. We use to shoot with my Uncles and boy cousins, and I'll never forget the look of 'wow' on their faces that day! My favorite was skeet shooting though, this utube video cracks me up :)
