Did I miss the memo or something, but when did it become the norm for American politicians that are campaigning (for the highest position in the land) make it part of their stumping to go over seas. Does anyone else wonder why that is so important. To be honest with you, and this is in no way a knock on any particular country, but who cares what other countries think of our candidate. Their opinion of the candidate really doesn't count for or matter much. So why all the hoopla of his visit to Germany and wherever else he's going. My ideal candidate at this time would be one going from state to state (in a red pickup where are you Fred Thompson, or a train or something)to meet and greet with the common folks. I'd have them skip the major urban hubs since most of those areas are populated with people too stupid or too poor to be voting and go to suburbs and rural areas where the true, hard working American is to be found. I am hoping that this buffoon (no, I didn't type baboon, though it was on the tip of my fingers) continues to make all his gaffes on his tours that the people realize what a real moron he and his followers area.

B. HUSSEIN Obama has said he will take American troops from Iraq and not send them home as is demanded by the anti-war liberal hippie kooks but send them to Afghanistan to fight. He's also talked about attacking Pakistan and sending American troops back into Iraq to fight after pulling them out. I wonder how many peacenik moonbats will volunteer to fight their boy's wars.

Claudia you hit the nail on the head. Where exactly do all the sane Americans reside now a days. The more I see on TV, the more I hear in the community and the more I witness in our government's day to day workings, I really question the sanity and intelligence of many of my fellow citizens. I hear people calling into local talk show radio host Neal Boortz to gripe about one thing or another, and when I hear the words coming out of their mouth, I cringe knowing that I share the same country with them. You'd like cringe knowing you are on the same planet if you heard them. I think my country has hit that great turning point historians refer to as the point where things start going south because the citizens have learned they can take from the country without giving. Sad, sad times for us.
