So it came down to two choices for the coveted AOTW award. I was thinking of giving it to that limey poof on some awards show who told everyone to vote for Jug Hussein Ears. Dude! You're not even an American.
But then, I decided to do Bill O'Reilly. Why? Because he ambushed one of my favorite hacks, the uber-liberal Cynthia Tucker, the editor of the shrinking opinion section of the Atlanta Urinal and Constipation.
Holy crap! I cannot believe I'm defending Cynthia Tucker and linking to a blog by an even bigger asshole than Bill O'Reilly, Jay Bookman, the second most liberal columnist at the AJC.
On this peaceful, pleasant Atlanta Saturday morning, my colleague Cynthia Tucker, syndicated columnist and the AJC’s editorial page editor, was returning from a trip to the grocery store when she was “ambushed” on the sidewalk in front of her home by a three-person crew sent by Fox’s Bill O’Reilly.
Evidently in a column, Tucker took O'Reilly to task for having a different set of standards for Sarah Palin and the mother of Jamie Lee Spears. O'Reilly got pissed and sent a camera crew out to harass Tucker. Shades of 60 Minutes.
Geez Bill, Cynthia manages to make a fool out of herself by writing columns and editorials for a newspaper that is losing readership and shrinking in size. You don't need to act like an asshole and pick on her. She's suffering enough. Let her continue to look like an idiot and leave her alone. Don't make her look like a martyr.
Here's your award.
Maybe this week it should be divided between them both.

Where has the interview/ambush aired? I'm not a Factor fan, and don't watch much Fox. I'd like to know that Bill was behind it, and not simply some over ambitious station hack.
If O'Reilly did it, he deserves this and more. Too bad you can't go and present it to him personally.
If he was not personally responsible, he still deserves one.
