Yep , that's about it -- so far she seems to be the real deal -- I loved it that when she was obviously irritated with how "Mr. Gibson" was talking down to her & she kept , over & over, calling him "Charlie" this & "Charlie" that. I remember when my ex used to call me by my name like that ---you really want to be careful turning your back on a woman in that situation , especially if there are sharp objects in the area. Go Sara !!
Posted by: Terry on September 16, 2008 04:14 PMDo you really think Sen. John McCain is going to fool the American people and win the election in 50 or so days?
That would be a sad day in America if this were to happen.
Truly sad.
Sheesh, JT Hairless, where have I heard that before? I'm sure electing a socialist to the POTUS in the fall would be a lot better huh? Seems like McCain is doing a pretty good job of "fooling" (your words not mine) the public as of now, and newsflash. It's going to get worse. Are you another one of the people that visits here suffering from BDS or are you just one of those folks that like to stir the pot to see what kind of trouble you can cause?
Not as sad a day as it would be if that socialist asshole JHE was to win. GMAFB!

Yes! Senator John McCain will win. Not by "fooling" Americans but because intelligent voters are seeing clearly that he is offering the only viable solutions for the growth of USA and the survival of the world.
The Dims, the Fem-Libs, the Religious Lefties, the Europeens Commies, the Terrorists abroad and inside, are so panicky that they're screaming everywhere on the internet using vitriolic lies to express their fears of a McCain/Palin victory.
Instead of being sad, you should rejoice that common sense will prevail on Election day and your country will be safe.

Claudia,
You bring up a very good point (once again my fine neighbor to the north) about the entire world "freaking out" about a possible third Republican term. The majority of foreigners "opposed" to the thought of McCain/Palin winning are those that are very obviously and often times admittedly envious of us. As a matter of fact, I have a philosophy, if we Americans want to use the opinion of other countries as a "barometer" of who would be best to lead us, then go with the one they don't want to win. We'll come out on top every time.
JT Harris......
One thing you will learn very quickly is the mindset of most of the contributors on this website are Conservative, Patriotic & believe in a traditional American system founded on the belief for individual freedom. Our allegiance is to the Constitution & Bill of Right`s.
We do not fear a John McCain , we do recognize the real danger of what Obama represent`s. To date Obama has had a free pass, the Liberals are ecstatic & the Liberal Media has for all practical purpose`s been Obama`s choir. It is a new day, McCain has reached out to the Conservative base & Obama`s day in the sun is over.
You may disagree with the message being presented here but keep reading this blog, you will find one or two who are of a similar liberal belief as that which you follow. As you read their troll dropping`s, a realization for the blatant ignorance of their message may ignite a conversion for your belief & thought process to the Conservative /Moderate Conservative philosophy which poll after poll has established 60% of American`s identify themselves as.

No apologies necessary....."Man" has been used for a long time to describe "human of both sexes" until fanatic feminists became uncertain of their female apparatus and qualities. They insisted in proving they were an "equal she" by invading the language everywhere, even in prayers!
I never have that problem. I'm very much at ease in this "thinking man's" blog. It doesn't frighten my equality and feminity. I might have put the following verse here once. Hope it amuses you:

Posted by: PeggyU on September 16, 2008 11:47 PMGuys & Gals:
I always get a kick of how many of you co-opt Liberal Action-Statements and claim them for your own.
Further, I genuinely enjoy observing how scared you are ...; but why?
I mean really: why be so scared? Certainly not on factual-positions.
Y'all ain't bad nor evil or anything like that; but I sure do sense your fears. I have, perhaps, the same fears & concerns as do you, but I blame it on myself rather than on someone or something exterior, and hence my response is different than yours.
I just LOVE how the Conservative Opinion expressed here has evolved into something akin to:
"Liberals see things in Black & White while we Conservatives see the whole rainbow of Colorful Choice available."
Amazing. Simply Amazing! Our Country now truly does judge a book by its cover without the hard work of actually digging in to the content.
I am unlike a lot of you in one further respect:
Regardless of whether I agree with you or not (or you with me), You have never heard me say nor state that ANY American of ANY persuasion, of any thought, or care or of a concern is anything else than an American. An American just like you; an American just like me. I hope that's black & white enough for you.
By my calculations fully 85% of you can't claim that aspect of the American Heritage and all that such implies. Indeed, the same 85% does harm to the very-idea that we are ALL Americans.
In short, it ain't YOUR America, it's OUR's! Work & write and express with that & for that goal instead of all the time trying to show us how different we are from each other if it serves no purpose other than dis-uniting these United States. These United, blessed, American People.
I hope you understand that the above is in Liberal black & white.
In terms of 'power' all I have is but one vote.

I hate to knock you off your soap box and piss on your parade DanS, but you are wrong.
We are not "ALL" Americans. Hardly. There are millions upon millions upon millions of wetbacks here. Wetbacks from Mexico, wetbacks from Cuba, wetbacks from Vietnam, the middle east, Somalia, Africa, Brazil, Venezuela and a gaggle of other countries that they pledge allegiance to before they pledge allegiance to The United States. Don't give me that shit that "we are ALL Americans". What a crock!
These are the same ILLEGALS that are sucking this country dry. The same ones that raise my taxes and decrease my quality of life. The same ones that want you liberals to give them more for nothing. The same ILLEGALS that will be pulling the lever for your socialist boy JHE. Your boy is gonna fall flat on your face and I think most of you Donks realize that which of course is why y'all are in a frantic spaz to smear as much as you can with your BDS/PDS statements. The liberal movement (pun intended) is much more devisive than you claim the Conservatives are. Class division, race division, age division...your ilk covers all bases.
Hell, I wish Claudia and RedCollar would hop the fence south and come here to vote this round. They are more American than TDHO and a lot of dumbass liberals I have to put up with in my daily travels.
I hope you understand that the above is in Liberal black & white.
Ummm....yeah, that is a given. As is the fact that mine is in reality black & white.
To make a long story longer, I call bullshit DanS! There are those of us who provide, and there are those who take. I'm sick and fucking tired of providing for the takers who rely on the providers for their free ride in a country they don't even respect.
As a man who fought for this great country, I really can't believe that doesn't piss you off...
Have a fine hump day, cause if in 51 days JHE pulls off his abortion of a campaign, your gonna be fucked too! Count on it!
Posted by: CharlieDelta on September 17, 2008 04:47 AMHey CD, I'm not all that hot, ya know.
I have yet to convince a single Canadian that guns don't kill people, people kill people. Oh, we all agree that gangs use guns and that guns can be dangerous, but they never make the link between intent and death.
The older generation owned guns. The younger generation would vote for Obama if they could.
BTW, that cartoon was just perfect. I got blown away by Palin too. I'm glad you guys have some fresh blood in the system.
Not just red blood, Red State blood!
Posted by: red collar on September 17, 2008 05:49 AM"but I blame it on myself rather than on someone or something exterior"
Liberals like you never accept blame, stop your blatant lies. To people like you (lib/socialist/Dim) it's always someone elses fault. The sooner admit it to yourself, the sooner you inner demons will stop tormenting you.
And to add to what CD said above (and I agree wholeheartedly CD), you are extremely naive (and that's the polite word) to think that just because someone is physically here in this country means that they too are Americans. Once again Danno, I call bull shit. When people in this country, like the citizens and immigrants of the 1800's and early to mid 1900's, start putting country first, and themselves and citizens of other countries second, then they will be considered Americans. There is no more thought of "proud Americans" as pride is taught to be bad. There is no more recognition that we are still, to this day, the most rightous, powerful and prosperous nation on the planet to which more people "flock" than any other country. Once the population of this country recognizes this we will be on our way to 1) never even considering electing the current "crop" of Dims/socialists/libs waiting in the wings to try to ply their ridiculous beliefs 2)stop allowing illegals to freely INVADE this country and drain us of our services 3) once again take pride in knowing who we are, where we came from, and where our forefathers and founders expected us to go and take us in that direction.

Gee whiz....you liberals cannot be truthful even when you surrender!
Anyway ....Glad you got back on the wagon, welcome aboard.now play nice!
By the way I accept the apology you did not offer......you would only retract it some time in the future anyway.

"I just LOVE how the Conservative Opinion expressed here has evolved into something akin to..."
DanS-
Do you, perhaps, sense the contradiction in those two statements? I don't know, that sounds a little exterior to me, but I'm wierd that way...
I said this before but I can't help repeating it. I'm so angry at the so-called Americans who went 6-8 years ago to settle in France. They never stopped criticizing President Bush and the Iraq War with the Europeans. They fell in love with Obama, and now they are screaming murder since Palin appeared on the scene. "Are they going to let that trollop become the next USA President? I hate what's happening to "MY" country?" ....THEIR COUNTRY?????.... What have they done for America since they left but put their government down constantly in company of French socialists?
When your country is at war, and you are abroad, it's your duty, as a citizen, to support your country. If you don't, you're a traitor. You should not be allowed back home, and you should lose your right to vote. There should be a concentration camp (like in WW2) for everyone who undermines the War efforts. For me those people are worse than spies. They write those horrible things in blogs for all the world to see. They play right in the hands of the terrorists.

Posted by: LisaKay on September 18, 2008 07:51 AMClaudia - Wouldn't it be nice if the libs and ex-pats hated the terrorists as much as they hate GWB and the Republicans? It is so sad that we have so many Americans who actually want us to lose in Iraq and Afghanistan because they hate GWB.
Posted by: Denny on September 18, 2008 01:27 PMActually Denny, I think they hate GWB because they want us to lose the war against the rag head/camel jockeys and that's why they are so apposed to him and his administration. If we were losing that war, they'd probably not have too much of a problem with him. They have bought the whole "American's are guilty" premise hook line and sinker. Hence the "need" to vote for a part black man to make themselves feel less "guilty".
Posted by: Ray on September 18, 2008 01:52 PMThey cannot see that the presence of the American soldiers in Iraq is what keep USA free of another terrorist attack. They think "Poor innocent Saddam Hussein. Poor Iraq people in the middle of the war." Saddam was protecting the terrorists. The Iraq people, opposed to Saddam, were tortured. It's amazing that some Americans cannot understand that the regime was corrupt, and in connivance with Al Qaeda.
I'm not paranoid but I believe that terrorists are controlling the Medias, and are stopping the truth from reaching the free world. In my view, President Bush should be hailed as a hero for his courageous role in the Iraq War. Who else but terrorists have any reason to hate him, and put him down?
Of course, one might dislike an administration for being too conservative, or not enough. But this is a lot worse than dislike. As Ray says, those Americans and Europeans HATE him for the Iraq War. They reject McCain/Palin for the same reason.
