The Trip Down

I went to bed at 10:00 PM since I knew I had to get up at 4:00. I didn't get to sleep until after midnight. Didn't want to get up.

I usually take MARTA (Moving Africans Rapidly Through Atlanta) to the airport on my dive trips. It's actually the easiest way to get there. We were supposed to meet at the Delta counter at 7:00. I made it by 6:30.

Security was a zoo. We went through as a group. There were 21 of us. This was prolly the biggest circle jerk I have ever gone through with Atlanta security. It took forever for my carry on to get through the x-ray machine.

We got down to the gate with plenty of time to spare. I was the first one on the plane. It was a 757. I love them. I can roll right into the galley and then walk to my seat. I had gotten myself moved up to 20F which was one row back from the hatch. I slept most of the way down.

It was interesting deplaning the crips. No jetways at the Bonaire airport. Normally, they carry you down the steps in an aisle chair. I prefer to walk. This time, they used the catering truck out the back hatch. Pretty good plan. Instead of carrying us down the steps, they just had to lower us down from the catering truck after the elevator went down.

We're staying at the Divi Flamingo as we always do. It's a very accessible resort and the staff is used to dealing with crip divers.

We had a great barbecue dinner.

Tomorrow we start diving!

Glad you had a safe trip. I always worry a little when friends and family fly. Never if it's me! 21 people...it's a large group. I guess it includes instructors. I looked at last year's photos. Beautiful place!

Here's a bit of gossip. Paul put some boobage on the Triplet's blog because yours was missing. It was normal to ask him for Saturday Bach, wasn't it? Well.....I'm sorry I mentioned music. I had to plug my ears to listen to what he put. Bach will never forgive me!

Don't worry about a thing. Have a good diving day tomorrow. Take lots of pictures.

Man, that sounds like some serious fun, Denny! The diving pics too...

Errr,

Does this mean there will be no blonde joke or the much treasured boobage post this week?

Have a nice time swimming around in warm tropical waters while we, pee-ons have to endure the drudge of everyday life on the mainland!

Have a wonderful time, Denny!

The Divi Flamingo?

Oh, I can see that commercial already:

-"I may not be able to transplant your kidney,
-but I did stay at the the Divi Flamingo last night!"

Call your agent!
