So why did I start this blog back in April of 2002? It's because the Atlanta Urinal and Constipation wouldn't print every letter I wrote to them. And as everyone knows, every single letter I wrote was a masterpiece but the buttholes at the AJC would only print about one in five. So what I would have written to the AJC became this blog. This was my outlet.
Cynthia Tucker, the head rat bastard commie at the AJC wrote this opinion column which appeared in Sunday's AJC.
The base of the Republican Party — a dwindling but still significant group — clings to a handful of pseudo-facts that don’t hold up to serious scrutiny but that still occupy a central place in GOP ideology. Those include the assertion that Saddam Hussein represented a threat to the United States, that affirmative action in lending led to the mortgage crisis and that voter fraud is a serious problem in modern elections.
We cling to these "pseudo-facts" because they are true. Anyway, she's on her high horse about one of her favorite topics and that is voter ID. She's against it. She's all for the Dims rounding up leeches and parasites and getting them to vote. She's also for the dead and felons voting.
During the past decade, GOP-dominated state legislatures across the country have used assertions of mischief at the ballot box to push through harsh voter ID laws. Republican strategists have also pushed prosecutors to go after allegedly fraudulent voters.
Because the dead always seem to vote for Dimocrats. You know the joke about Chicago politics. My dad was a Republican all his life but since he's died he's voted Dimocrat in the last three elections.
Those GOP strategists know better: One study after another has shown that voter fraud is, at worst, extremely rare. And the sort of in-person fraud that would be prevented by stiff voter ID laws is virtually nonexistent.
Dear Cynthia:
You are full of shit. Haven't you been paying attention to all the news about ACORN and all of the fraudulent voters they have been registering? Yannow ACORN, the organization that Jug Hussein Ears started out with as a "community organizer". I'm feeling kinda lazy today and I don't want to list all of the bullshit ACORN has been pulling lately, so I'm gonna point you to Rachel who already has. Let me tell you, this is just the tip of the iceberg.
And what is just so bad about having to prove who you are to vote? What's the problem? You have to do that to cash a check. All Georgia asks for is a picture ID and it accepts many forms of picture ID. A driver's license is just one of those. It's not even a monetary problem. If you're poor Georgia will not charge you for a state ID card.
If rat bastard commies "community organizers" can round up voters to take them to vote on election day, those same rat bastard commies "community organizers" should be able to round up the same people and take them to get state ID cards. The state even made it easy to get the cards as they sent a mobile facility to every county.
Voter fraud? You bet. And it happens in every big city. I do notice that your paper is not doing much reporting on all of the ACORN investigations going on around the country.
Geez! Why don't you just change the name of your nespaper to Pravda. You have become the propaganda arm of the Rat Bastard Commie Dimocrat Party.
Sincerely,
GOC

Posted by: thud on October 9, 2008 04:59 PMTexas made it illegal to drive if you are an illegal yesterday. Is that an oxymoron? Found it here.

Gov. Rick Perry applauded the change, which went into effect Oct. 1, as a way to strengthen the state's security.
"Texas is a great place to live and work, and while we welcome legally documented individuals to the Lone Star State, we must ensure that this privilege is not abused by those seeking to enter our country illegally," he said.
Posted by: kerrcarto on October 9, 2008 05:06 PMThe Second Coming of Christ will be NOTHING compared to what happens every election day in Chicago. I'll bet my wife and I are still registered there, as well as my late in-laws...
Posted by: John in May-retta on October 9, 2008 05:10 PMI forgot to put the reason for that last comment. You have to have a drivers license or ID card to vote in Texas.
Posted by: kerrcarto on October 9, 2008 06:15 PMWhere I live in GA you can get an ID card when you register to vote if you don't have one.
Posted by: vcw1939 on October 9, 2008 07:16 PM"a dwindling...group". Yah, ok, the last time some twit told me that the Republican party was a dying breed, she got to endure Bush four more years.
Suck it, Tucker.
Posted by: Serenity on October 9, 2008 08:22 PMIf I were King, in order to vote, you'd have to show a certified copy of a filed tax return. Proof of an I.Q. bigger than your shoe size would also be nice, but that's probably s stretch.
Posted by: Jim - PRS on October 9, 2008 09:24 PMkerrcarto - Unfortunately, Texas does not require a photo ID of any sort to vote. I work as an election judge for local ballots (national elections are too much of a headache). Utility bill, paycheck, bank statement are all acceptable forms of ID. In fact, if a voter presents a valid voter ID card (which does not have a photo), we can't ask for any secondary ID to prove that they are the person named on the card. We are trained to ask for "identification" because asking for a "driver's license" is discriminatory against those that don't have one. Asinine system, which is why I could only work elections in my small town - we all know each other, so they can't get away with any BS at my polling place.
Posted by: JackieD on October 9, 2008 09:30 PMET - that guy needs to be on the payroll. Great link.
Posted by: patrick on October 9, 2008 09:44 PMJackieD, thanks for the info, I just assumed that you had to show an ID card or drivers license since that is what they always ask me for. That and when you go get your DL or ID they give you the option to register. If that is the way it goes down then we need to tighten our voting criteria. Hell anybody can get a paycheck or bank statement. To many unknowns in Texas now.

Posted by: haha on October 10, 2008 04:33 AMThe majority of the print media, and television news organizations, just need to be honest and call themselves the Ministry of Truth.
Haha, that means you need to read George Orwell's "1984". That is, if your leftist education ever taught you to read, otherwise, rent the movie.
Posted by: spongerob on October 10, 2008 08:42 AMWell, that last comment by "James" is actually smarter than those by "haha", "Theresa", "Sally"..
Damn, that's bad when spam comments are more eloquent and smarter.

I just want to know what the little brat was doin on the internet at 3:10 in the morning when he was supposed to be at a barackobama fund raiser suckin dicks to raise money for the campaign.
Don't give me no shit boy, there are no computers in that part of town.
Oh, one more thing, if my boy comes back, let him know the AIDS Clinic called. We'll just say he has food poisoning from a bad weenie....
The dead really don't vote in Chicago elections anymore. The Dems haven't needed them since Peter Griffin, Homer Simpson, and the entire population of West Nusa Tenggara registered to vote Democrat.
Posted by: Greg on October 10, 2008 12:06 PMRight here in Marion County (Indianapolis) 105% of the possible voters are registered.
Posted by: Jerry on October 10, 2008 08:45 PM105%? BFHD! ACORNy still has over 90% of the cemetery to get signed up!
What is the diffrence between a live democrat and a dead republican? The dead republican will always vote for a democrat.
We need to use the finger dye like they did in Iraq.
I think I'm gonna vote for McCain
