AOTW 11-21-2008

The coveted AOTW Award goes to the gay community. Ironic since they might actually find a use for it. That "which dare not speak its name" has become that which will not STFU! So you assholes just lost an election and now you're protesting in front of Mormon churches. Hey dooshbags! You wanna display real balls? Protest in front of Moo-slime mosques or black churches. Black folks voted overwhelmingly to ban gay marriage. And I got some news for you fucking spoiled brats. Gay is not the new black.

Now lest you think I'm homophobic, I'm not. I don't really give a rat's ass about how people have sex. Just don't rub it in our faces. I can do without the Dykes on Bikes bullshit. And I'm for gays in the military. There were one or two people I served with that I thought might have been gay, but I didn't care. Gays have every right to be killed on the battlefield as straights.

And as for suing eHarmony.com because they only catered to straights? GFAFB! WTF is wrong with you asswipes? Start your own site. Call it eGay.com. Why do you want to act like dooshbags? It doesn't help your cause. It only pisses people like me off.

My side just lost an election. I'm not out demonstrating. I'm not suing. I'm blogging about it. I'm hoping I can convince our side that if they act like Dimocrats, the people are gonna vote for real Dimocrats. Why vote for a RINO when they can vote for a Dimocrat?

So for acting like a bunch of spoiled brats I'm giving the gay community this award.

Matt - There you are! I've missed you and your old e-mail quit working. I had some PhotoShop ideas during the election and couldn't find you.

That "which dare not speak its name" has become that which will not STFU!

ROFLMAO!! Best description of those degenerates I've heard in a long time.

Posted by: Past Your Eyes on November 21, 2008 11:48 PM

Definatly appropriately awarded Denny.

This issue has been voted on twice in KA, and the People's Republik is still shopping it to activist judges. The people have spoken through the ballot box, but the majority vote obviously doesn't mean shit! I always thought my vote was pretty much worthless in this libtard state, and '08 "Yes On 8" winning just proved it to me. Fuck this place, and fuck you gay mafia!

I really don't give a shit about what people do in their bedrooms with their parts, but don't force it in my face! (no pun intended)...

Posted by: CharlieDelta on November 22, 2008 01:53 AM

I heard it put this way in that excellent little book, "The Portable Curmudgeon"-"The love that dare not speak its name has now grown hoarse from shouting..." Or as the late, great Sam Kinison put it-"How does one man look at another man's big, hairy ass & see LOVE ?!? Splain THAT one to me...." Still miss Sam. He'd had a field day w/ The Magical Negro, I'll wager.

homophobic

That is the stupidest word the gay community every comandeered. I don't really know many "afraid" of gays as the word implies, they just don't like their lifestyle. As for me, they gay community has lost most if not all of the "goodwill" they might have earned over the years past. Many like myself, who might not agree with their lifestyle, have turned the other cheek so to speak and not given a rat's ass about what people do behind closed doors. But when you try to start legislating your lifestyle, forcing it down our throat (figuratively, not literally) and display your affection in public places makeing me have to explain your lifestyle choices to my 8 year old daughter, well then you've just gone and lost all the good will garnered in the past. Having said that, living out here in bumfuck Georgia, you would think the gay population is small or nonexistent. To the contrary. We have a lot. Matter of fact, some of my best and favorite clients are gay couples. They take AWESOME care of their pets. But, whether it's because of where they live (lot's of gun totin, beer swilling, pick up driving "country folks" around here if you know what I mean :) or because they don't believe in "announcing their lifestyle for the world to see", very few folks know they are queer. No rainbows, no public displays of affection, no spandex running shorts etc.

Ray, You're right on!

Posted by: Squeak on November 22, 2008 10:34 AM

I've always been very tolerant of the gay community (I used to party with some of them from time to time back in my Dallas days) because I'm an open-minded individual and as long as whatever you're doing doesn't hurt me or my culture, party on.

But now? In all seriousness. You're a bunch of ass pounding fascist fags. When you refuse to respect your fellow citizens like this, you can fuck off (which you do anyway but you get what I mean). You've taken your community two steps forward and three steps backward since the 1960s. Of course, everyone knows how you love to back into things. Nice work ya bareback bandits. And you know what else? You guys are nasty! That's gross.

great thread. couple thoughts.

1. I agree that the gay should have a civil union. they absolutely 100% lose me though in protesting a fair election.

2. Protest outside the mosques indeed....priceless.

3. CD must have pissed off the man upstairs in a past life. He should have been born in Texas.

Posted by: patrick on November 22, 2008 11:27 AM

Patrick,

My main objection to the "civil union" of gays is: if Fella A marries Fella B, then which one of them claims the other as a dependent for Social Security, insurance, all other benefits etc? And why should they be rewarded with survivor benefits when I - and many other millions - are unmarried?

I want survivor benefits, too! I'm going to marry my imaginary friend, claim him on my insurance and collect his benefits when he "dies." (Unless I get hold of a REAL man to marry in the meantime...) Or, just give me "extra single person" benefits equivalent to what a widow or widower would get at age 65.

Although actually, the USofA doesn't have to GIVE me anything - I EARN my keep, unlike the lazy couchpotoatos who spend their welfare money on cigarettes, booze and lotto tickets. And it's a good thing I'm putting some away (NOT in an IRA) so I can take care of myself when JHE has blown all the money in the country on benefits for the lazyclass and the gay survivor benefits.

Denny, thanks. I live about 20 miles from the epicenter of the largest community of 'gays' in the country, Palm Springs, CA and I laugh at picturing gays picketing a black church in Compton or Watts.

CharlieDelta, this is the second time the Citizens of the left state voted this down, and like the 1st, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit will shoot down this law again. Our tax dollars at work, again. Their motto is If it's good for the masses, go screw yourself.

Posted by: Larry on November 22, 2008 12:47 PM

Gays don't need a dating site - they get more trim in a week than many straight men see in ten years. Suing Eharmony.com is just bitching for the sake of bitchiness.

Posted by: The Hairy Beast on November 22, 2008 01:07 PM

Suing Eharmony ? Hell, I thought that Dr Neil Clarke Warren WAS one of them in the 1st place...That damn guy just gives me the willies...

Posted by: Sandy G. on November 22, 2008 02:29 PM

Me, too. I cringe at his commercials.

Posted by: Paul on November 22, 2008 02:46 PM

Jane A - excellent points. as for who is the dependent, not sure it matters though. lets say my wife and I both work. Assuming both employers offer health benefits, then we can choose which of us is the dependent. The gay could choose too I guess. As for SS benefits, a husband and wife both get it to the extent they earn it, but at the first one's death only the higher of the two continues, not both. The same would go for the gay.

I have no argument though for the answer to single people and the level of equity there. You are right. You got me thinking. thanks.

If the government warned that the mother of all earthquakes was going to hit California, the gays would be the first to evacuate. That's simply because they would have their shit packed the night before.

Ya gotta really LISTEN to the comments above!

Now then: I'm pushing hard up against 60 and a local 25-yr-old Male who supplies primo pot to an age-independent crowd 'round here has been sending out 'signals' that he feels himself 'different' from others.

I'll wait a few minutes until you digest that ...

In fact, I'll go outside, have a smoke, drink a beer, wash & wax the car, blowout the gutters, and rake the yard.

OK, back! Took a wizz in addition to all posted above!

What do you do?

I don't care what people do behind the closed doors of their bedroom. Just don't FUCKING ADVERTISE IT!!! I can't stand to be driving down the road and see that damn rainbow pinstripe on the back of vehicles. Why don't you just put your cell phone number underneath it for a roadside blow or munch? You don't see people advertising that they are straight. The only way we can have our own pinstripe is that it would have to be black, grey, and white because they have already taken all of the colors. Once again out it Cali they are acting like a bunch of shit-for-brains. In one of the most liberal states of this great country, gay marriage has been voted down twice. How many times do voters have to tell you NO? What part of NO don't they understand?

Posted by: Ampman88 on November 22, 2008 08:51 PM

DanS: I am not sure what that means ... it's puzzling. But if you are having an affair with a gay 25-year-old who provides you with happy smokes, I don't think anyone wants to know about it!

Posted by: PeggyU on November 22, 2008 09:19 PM

What do you do?

DanS-
Tell the fag to move to SanFagCisco where anything goes and it's a free-for-all there. The majority vote apparently doesn't count in this shitty state.

Gavin isn't even tryin' to slide it through the back door, he's wide open about it. (pun intended)

Again, I don't give a rat's ass what these people do as long as they aren't throwing it in everyone's face like a money shot. Keep your shit to yourself and we don't have a problem. The moment you put it out there and undermine MY FUCKING VOTE, we have problems. Major problems! It's not about what you do with your parts. It's about the majority of this state (black/white/mexican/asian) saying we don't want it!!! Simple!

By the way, when you homo's try to compare your "plight" to that of slavery, you only distance yourselves more. It's apples and oranges. (or hampsters and gerbils)

Hey gay mafia! GFY! The people have spoken. Deal with it!

Posted by: CharlieDelta on November 22, 2008 09:28 PM

PeggyU:

CharlieD nails it!

No, I am not having an affair with a 25 (or any Year Old!) with either a female or a male. Your mileage may vary.

What I posted, what I requested-response to, is how does one deal with what I asked? What Do You Do?

I ain't the one buying what the 25-Yr old is selling. I like to think of myself as observational rather than judgemental.

I think I asked a question, related to the AOTW-topic, that I simply have no answer for.

Here's another:

Standing-round the ever-burning fire out back of the American Legion Hall in Tucker, GA. -how does one fight with the fellow who swears he carried a .50-cal machine gun at the squad level?

While that may be too technical for you yourself (and I say plainly I mean no harm toward YOU!), there are those who would stand around a fire and tell the most blatant of lies and then threaten to push one into the fire itself if one would but question any detail of a story-just-told.

Hence, my comment & query re: AOTW.

How does one deal with a gay pusher? A pusher considered valuable by someone other than myself?

Posted by: DanS. on November 23, 2008 12:37 AM

I don't know, maybe I am just an intolerant bigoted asshole but I do care what goes on behind closed doors. Drug addiction goes on behind closed doors, domestic abuse goes on behind closed doors. I care most about their spiritual condition but since I know that most of them would not accept that then my appeal can only be for their health, particularly gay males. Seriously guys, it's not made for that function and long term abuse can cause serious problems later in life. Think, draw strings. Lesbians aren't entirely living safe lifestyles either. And while I know Christian examples would not be accepted then they should consider for a moment what Darwin would say. Sorry folks, you can't reproduce which means your failure to adapt ends your evolution. This would make you a species destined for extinction. I know reality may be difficult sometime but it kind of goes against the natural order of things doesn't it?

On the violence front, I think they should make a large wooden icon of the asshole award and give it to one of their most feeble elderly members and see if any of the Christians knock it out of his/her hand and push him/her around. Somehow I don't see that happening. Cowards, the lot of you. You've already forced Catholic churches to close the doors on some of their adoption centers in Chicago and elsewhere (separaton of church and state my ass). You folks need to take a good long look at yourselves and ponder the state of your souls.

Let the hate mail commence. Let's see who behaves the more tolerant shall we?

Posted by: Lumpy on November 23, 2008 01:13 AM

Thanks for clearing that up - so are you worried because he's selling drugs or sex or both? How does one deal with a gay pusher? The same way you deal with any other pusher, I suspect. I would assume both drug dealing and prostitution are illegal where you live, and if you are sure of what you have observed, I'd rat him out to the local law enforcement authorities, whoever they may be. But maybe that doesn't work?

Posted by: PeggyU on November 23, 2008 01:54 AM

PeggyU:

Naww, that does not work.

I'm not sure as to why, but ...

Naww, that won't work here.

I can't turn in an Iraq Veteran simply because he's trying to make a day's pay while also being Gay.

THAT's the problem that I initially queried about. As it relates to topic.

Hopefully, it does not come down to an "Is You Is or Is You Ain't?" -issue or decision!

Posted by: DanS. on November 23, 2008 03:29 AM

I just got to thinking (something I rarely do)
I am mostly 'gainst the word Married being used for Homosexual "Unions"

When I am asked if I am married, I don't want the next question to be "to a Man or a Woman?"

so the Homosexuals should use the word "Union"

Like this for example
"Are You Unionized"

seems to kill two birds with one stone

Posted by: ty guy on November 23, 2008 07:25 AM

"Dr. Warren is an evangelical Christian"

Well that just outed him right there, don't you think?

And DanS, you call the local authorities and tell them there's a butt fucking drug dealer in your neighborhood and they need to deal with it before they get to the kids. That simple. Cops don't like gays or kid selling drug dealers. He'll be gone in a few days.

Posted by: Ray on November 23, 2008 09:51 AM

DanS - does all of this have anything to do with you "dropping a tranny" back in the Dakotas a couple years back??

(joke).

patrick:

that comment wins the day. :)

Good One!

Now, curl up in a ball.

Posted by: DanS. on November 23, 2008 08:08 PM

Patrick - Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad to know that some of us with commentary are taken seriously and can inspire others to think. It's a valid point to me. Why are single people "singled-out" for not having the same advantage of survivor benefits, if the "unionized" get to have them? Don't for one moment think that every one of the gays and lesbians are "unionizing" for love alone...

Paul - thanks, guy. It's not that I don't want to be married to the right man - he just hasn't come along. (And that's "RIGHT" as in political as well as everything else!)

"What part of NO don't they understand?"

i've thought about this a couple of times in the past, and i've not thought of a conservative equivalent.

when i lived in houston every year or two, some lib would get a ballot initiative to force us to pay for some mass transit train (anyone who has been to houston knows that you have to drive to get anywhere in houston, similar to steve martin in LA Story driving two houses down to visit his neighbor). the train ALWAYS lost.

now houston has a train. the part of "NO" that they do not understand is that we can say no a bunch of times, but if they get one single measely yes, they get what they want.

year after year it gets voted no, but one yes and the issue will never be revisited. it just stinks. i imagine some state some where will eventually have voter supported gay marriage simply from the shear number of times that it will get voted on. and once it's here, it will stay.

can anyone think of a conservative issue that would be like that (DanS?)?

"8 means hate"! Who are you California voters to say that just becuase Proposition 8 passed that we as a gay community should concede? Just because the majority of CA voted YES, do you think we should just bend over and take it? (ooops) How dare you think that your vote means anything!

Who do you think you are? How dare your vote not let me get what I want!

I want it in the butt, and I want the majority of this state to realize that your vote doesn't mean shit, because it doesn't.

I don't have a job, but I just demanded that obama buy me a 4x4, cause it's going to get seriously muddy.

I also just got me a lawyer named Sallyanncavanaugh, and she told me that I should move to Mexico because the fish tacos are going to get slippery and fun really soon.

I'm really looking forward to the donkey show!

Pip- I've thought the same thing many times. Mass transit seems to be the main example of this. In our county 4 cities voted to build a big arts hall. mine voted it down. 3 others voted yes. The thing is over budget and all three towns that voted for it rue the day. we of course still have some do-gooders that want it back on our ballot. I don't want to vote "no" . I want to vote HELL NO

Posted by: patrick on November 24, 2008 02:11 AM

Patrick & Pip.....

Here in my town of Erie Pa it is Convention Center`s....About 35 years back ,a small convention center was built right by I 90 the thruway which goes by our city. It quickly became the home of our minor league hockey team,Outdoor Sports Shows & similar promotion`s. It was popular& made a modest amount of money.

Our then mayor decided we needed a bigger convention center located in the middle of the central city which died because the stores formerly there all moved to the new malls south of the city. Well, Convention Center # 2 was built over the objections of many with promises of major convention`s to be held there, major Musical concert`s,relocation of the hockey team & that it would revitalize the central city. .......It flopped.
Then the Mayor was of the opinion if we would build a new Ball Park next to convention center #2 with expanded parking facilities due to large crowds , it would stimulate the popularity of the empty convention center bringing huge crowds & revitalize the central city. They forgot that people do not like to associate with the wino`s & drifters wandering around down town & in order for the base ball team to gain support ,it should be winning games not losing them. I won`t say it has flopped ,just not made any money or helped the inner city.

Recently we got a new convention center right on our bayfront which of course competes with convention center #2. To make room for it they booted out all the long term maritime small business`s& restaurants which were there , a large company which employed hundreds & relocated the Library & Bus Terminal to be nearby it. This turkey`s major selling point is they built it in the shape of a large boat. Future plans include several hotel`s for conventioneer`s & patrons to stay at ,which will generate tons of money & revitalize the central inner city. Yep! that is what it is going to do all right!

Meanwhile the Base Ball team still suck`s ,so does the Hockey Team, convention center #1 is now the home of a manufacturing company, convention center #2 is still losing money, the wino`s & drifters are now circling convention Center #3,, The bus company does some business & provides a place for the wino`s to sleep out of the wind off the lake,The people who lost their employment due to this are still looking for work or moved away, The central inner city is still declining with dreams of massive crowds of conventioneers still in the minds of our solidly Democratic administration who point to this whole extravaganza as Democratic Progress.

Coming soon is a projected Ferry boat service which is going to bring thousands of tourists & shoppers from Canada here everyday.....This in spite of a similar venture between Toronto Ontario & Rochester New York which flopped & went bankrupt in its first year.....It is going to fill convention Center`s #2 & #3,the ball park with huge crowds, revitalize the central inner city, populate the hotel`s & give a huge economic boost to the large mall`s south out the city filled with the stores which used to be in our central inner city.

Were this 200 years ago my family & I would be heading west in a Conestoga Prairie Schooner,Democratic progress to the contrary.
