One of the really neat things that have come from my blogging is all the cool people I've met both online and in person. I remember on my Wild Wild West Tour when I took my Z3 up the PCH a few years back, I got to go out to dinner with Rivrdog when I stopped in Portland Oregon.
It's also awesome to meet long time commenters like Kerrcarto, CharlieDelta, and Paul, whom we all know as The Criplets the blog children or SuperGurl and me.
Tonight I had another treat. I finally got to meet Rob Cooper, who has been commenting on this site for years. He took Ryan, Sherry, and me out to dinner. I've been trying to get him to blogmeets since I knew that he would fit right in. After meeting him, I have no doubts. He would make an awesome Blown-Eye. Maybe we could get him to attend Camp Blownstar if we have one again this year.
Thanks for dinner, Rob! Hope to see you again.
One more day of skiing to go. I'm still not sore. I cannot say the same for one of the people skiing with me. We had a little collision. Unfortunately, she got the worst of it.

I'm glad you had a good time with a blogger friend.
A friend of mine and I would like to meet when you return to GA.
We love your point of view and we have been wanting to get together with you for several years.
I have tried Emailing you privately, but I get no response.

You're truly having a great time, Denny. Thank you for sharing it with us. The winter is so cold and gray. It's been nice to get out of it tru your holidays. Have the best day, tomorrow. Take care!
Sometimes I wish I could see photos of the regular commenters who don't have a blog. I doubt I would ever meet anyone. Yet, I feel they're good friends. We share so many thoughts.

Denny- After seeing you'all off and waiting for my bus to take my semi-drunk ass home (I'll admit I had a couple beers at home and a couple while waiting for you, Ryan, and Sherry, but don't think I'm admitting I drink a lot- I quit every night!), I had to go take a leak.
I left my left over prime rib sitting outside, and when I returned it was gone! That PISSED me off!!!
That leftover piece was the PERFECT size for a prime rib sandwich!
Oh, and it was great finally meeting all of you also after all these near misses!
BTW Claudia, Denny told a funny story about you and your Doctor!

Hope ya make it to Camp Blownstar this year. Denny's posts and yer comments either cracked me up or pissed me off when I first started visiting here. Like it should be.
I'll buy you a beer over some AC/DC and some French-bashing...
Posted by: CharlieDelta on February 4, 2009 12:45 AMRob Cooper - You mean Ebony Black Snigger? Yes!
The Canadian Pundits had a good time, most Saturday Nights, following the excruciating campaign of "half-breed" BozObama tru Denny's rants. We lost...But we lost fighting and laughing, didn't we? It ain't over yet...
All the best to you!
Ditto Denny-
It was really good meetin' y'all in person finally. Great group of peeps if you ask me...
If it goes down this year, I'm drivin' this time and takin' pictures... Watch out Ansel Adams!
Posted by: CharlieDelta on February 4, 2009 02:49 AMyay, rob cooper finally materialized! yay!
we do need to make the plans for blownstar. our river house gets booked up early. you make me miss my blown eyes. how about three nights this time?
Posted by: supergurl on February 4, 2009 07:18 AMRob - Now that sucks big time!
supergurl - Fine with me. Do you still wanna make it invite only? I'll give you a call next week.
Posted by: Denny on February 4, 2009 10:22 AMDenny,
The next time you are on one of your trips and heading through the Cincinnati area, you will have to let me know. I would like to meet you personally. It about killed me the last time you posted that you drove through here. We could have met for a couple of drinks or something before you headed on down the road.
Ampman - We were on a timetable and we wouldn't have been able to stop. That happens on some of my trips. e.g. I didn't have time to stop and meet Jeremy on my way back from Aspen last month.
