Switzerland's largest bank also agreed to turn over the identities and accounts of some of its U.S. clients to the American government, in an unprecedented move that could shine a light into the country's secretive banking industry, the DOJ added.UBS entered into a deferred prosecution agreement on charges of conspiring to defraud the U.S. by impeding the Internal Revenue Service. The government will dismiss the charges if the bank fulfills its obligations under the agreement, the DOJ explained.
If they're Dimocrats I'm sure we'll be told that it was an "honest mistake."

If a neutral country with iron-clad banking laws is caving, it can only be for a really big, potentially devastating reason: "they" (whoever "they" are behind the Obama throne) have managed to "get to" the Swiss somehow. ("Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.")
Think about it - if a foreign government, to which we owe nothing and which owes us nothing, is giving in to this kind of pressure, what chance do we little peons and 'publicans have?

I suspect they will find billions of dollars in suitcases. The Kennedy's, Clintons, Boxers, Peeloshi and the like have avoided U.S. taxes/laws for years by using overseas banks.

I don't expect much action on the play for pay scheme involving over 100 congress critters if or when they catch the billion dollar fraudster shown hugging Peeeloshi in Denver. A super rich man can find a lot of places to hide, or the Chicago mob may have him resting with Hoffa. In some cases O'Dumbo's Chicago mob connections may have you eating the remains, mixed with hamburger of course.
