If you want to have fun (and cry at the same time) go and read The White House Paper on 'Curbing Tax Havens and Removing Tax Incentives for Shifting Jobs Overseas.' All rich Americans hiding money in small countries'banks, and all companies establishing themselves in those little countries because labor is cheaper, will be forced to return money and companies to be taxed in USA. And those companies will now be forced to hire Americans. No more loopholes. The Government will hire 800 investigators to recuperate the money. And all that extra Tax money (billions and billions) will be used to establish the National Health Care Plan.

I wrote, "What will happen when the Obama investigators discover that all Senators and Congressmen have hidden bank accounts in little countries overseas? And that the companies, that run to those countries because of cheap labor, are the companies which elected Obama?"

Those are the grand gestures of BozObama. With an aura of sainthood. No more crooks in USA. Like I said: it's pathetically funny!

When you read Dickens, you find out that there was a time, in England, when people (not necessarily crooks) were put in jail for owing money. I think that law should be re-established, all over the world, for politicians who misuse public funds and indebt their country.

Claudia - The Clintons and the Kennedys have gobs of money in offshore accounts. It wouldn't surprise me if the Obamas do as well. If not now, they will when they really strike it rich after he leaves office. They'll both get book deals and he will prolly get paid as much as BJ does for reading his trusty TelePrompTer.

I'm sure of it, Denny. It's the hypocrisy of it all that gets to me. The "Better than thou" attitude. Of course Republicans are sinners too but, except for the Ultra Evangelical ones, they don't go around saying that they will reform the world, stop all wars, and clean all the dirty water. Politics is politics. Everyone should have a healthy dose of skepticism about it. But to present this elitist, low class man, as a haloed saint was such a perverse game to play on simple, not-too-bright voters. The publicists who built him up must hate USA and Americans. It's frightening!
