From Dick.
Fortunately since he has Pravda the LSM on his side, he'll get away with this. More people in this country care about Michael the pedophile's death than care about the economy killing cap and trade bill that passed in the House of Representatives. We're doing it to ourselves, America.
Blame and you can't lead.

Next they will blame the american people and not obama, and claim to protect us from ourselves we have to eliminate the constitution.....

matt,
A truer fact was never said,
It's in the works and I don't know what or who is gonna stop it. It's like a bad grade-B Jap monster movie being played over and over.

Posted by: Angie on July 1, 2009 05:25 AMMost people just don't understand that it is indeed possible for the American government to go broke. Or even if it doesn't, in a few years the government's big job will be to suck a trillion dollars a year out of taxpayer pockets and pay it to China in order to carry the existing debt. I weep for the coming generation who will get stuck with this mess. If the general public had any fiscal sense at all, most of our elected representatives would be sporting tar and feathers.
Posted by: TalkinHorse on July 1, 2009 06:25 AMAngie, gimme a break. We'll be lucky if the government can keep the lights on.
Cap and trade- all the environmental stuff- is the biggest load of bs. The only thing that matters is consumption, consumption, consumption...if we consume less (and save money) that would have a better impact on the environment than any cap and trade bs.
Talkinhorse- you cannot talk about China independent of Americans' shitty buying habits. Want to have a big impact? NEVER BUY anything Chinese. People have forgotten the power of a boycott- in fact, it is the only thing that has any real power.
If the public had any fiscal sense, we would reign in our overspending ways and then destroy our economy. Blame it on the government if it makes you feel better, but they are a reflection of our collective values rather than the cause of our problems.
Absolutely correct, Denny.
It's pretty obvious to me that Obama uses whatever "crisis" or sad news that he can as a distraction to do what he wants, and hopes for a stupid America.
Unfortunately, there are so many sheeple.
I pray we have more patriots come 2010. Vote the RiNOs and libs OUT!
The kenyan likes to use fear to cram those damn bills through. Everyone is starting to figure out he is an idiot. Even Helen Thomas.
