A day after wading into the President Barack Obama-Joe Wilson imbroglio, former President Jimmy Carter is not backing down from his comments that racism played a role in the controversy.Carter said that Wilson’s comments — yelling “You lie,” as Obama addressed a joint session of Congress, was sparked by general attitudes from people who have an “aversion to have a black person as president.”

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs, rejected Carter’s notion that race played a part in Wilson’s comments.“The president does not believe that criticism comes based on the color of his skin,” Gibbs said in his Wednesday briefing at the White House. “We understand that people have disagreements with some of the decisions that we’ve made and some of the extraordinary actions that had to be taken by both this administration and the previous administration.”
The more the race card gets played, the less effective it becomes. It's like the little boy who cried "wolf". Eventually, the American people will get sick and tired of it. It's nice to see that forty years after the Civil Rights Act, that ended segregation, we have elected a black man to the most powerful position in the world. My problem is not the color of his skin but his ideology. He's a rat bastard commie.
By opening his mouth and showing just how stupid he is, Jimmah Carter is revealing his closet racism. I have not heard anyone on the right refer to JHE as a "black boy". Jimmah did.

CD, I read an article once in a human medical journal that stated that your above comment is a fact amongst all cultures of all colors. It's a human nature thing or something. Those that deny the above comment are liars. People have called me racist here and on other blogs, but I quickly put them in their place with the retort, no I'm not, I'm prejudiced. And that comment goes for people in general, not just one's of a different color. I'm very critical of others until they prove my criticism is unfounded. In other words, I am prejudiced towards all I meet until they open their mouths and reveal themselves at which point in time I can determine whether my "pre judging" was correct or not. It's a character flaw in my mind, but according to medical journals, it's innate in our genetics.
