Saturday Blonde Joke

Got this one from Pres.

A blonde and her husband are lying in bed
listening to the next door neighbor's dog.
It has been in the backyard barking for hours and hours.
The blonde jumps up out of bed and says,
"I've had enough of this".
She goes downstairs.

The blonde finally comes back up to bed
and her husband says "The dog is still barking,
what have you been doing?"

The blonde says,
"I put the dog in our backyard,
let's see how THEY like it!

Denny -
How do I remove that stupid firefox widget that shows up in the middle of the page when I'm trying to print it? Thanks.

Sometimes, I wish I had been blonde. At least, sometimes, I might have been funny instead of always so reasonably boring...

Claudia, you are never boring. You have a grasp of the world most Canadians do not. Yours is a unique generation, as it was in the states. My father was born in 1920 and flew Corsairs for the US Navy in WWII. I had an uncle who was Army Air Corp weather who parachuted into Dakar, Senegal, went to Atlanta for 30 days leave, and then dropped into Normandy on d-day. And Canadians, British, Anzac fought side by side in both horrible wars. They had honor. Like Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino, "I finish things, it's what I do.". Your generation secured the freedom most young people now take for granted. Your was a generation of doers, thinkers, team players, people who did not sit around and cry but took action. Claudia, you and your generation were a lot of things. But boring was never one of them.

Best wishes

WOW! Thanks, Fubar. I'll repeat that to my sisters. At 80, I'm the youngest. The oldest is 92, still going strong. Her husband fought for the liberation of Holland. Our brother was overseas in WW2 and Agent de Liaison between the Canadian and American Armies. He loved the Yanks. It's true. They were difficult times. Nobody did things for us. We had to get moving...

You have good roots, Fubar. And it shows in your thinking. All the best.

A standing ovation is what I give you and yours, Claudia and Fubar.

As an enhanced blonde, Claudia, I can tell you that the only thing it's gotten me is excuses ;-)

MoK- Ha! Ha! You're the smart, blonde exception!

Claudia- even if you went blonde you'd still be the intellectual, beautiful, Canuck Goddess we've all come to know and love. Your family has my thanks for their contribution to our freedom.
