I miss your rants. BozObama was awful at UN. Your president is a traitor. He should be kicked out and forced to live in Europe. Like in France with bloody miserable s.o.b. people. That's what he deserves. You're too good to be saddled with an ingrate man who has no pride in USA. I'm starting to believe that he doesn't have one drop of American blood running in his veins. American citizens should throw shoes at him like Europeans did to Bush. I think I'll go to the States and confront him in that manner. I wouldn't mind spending time in jail for screaming to his face: Shame on you, Afro American Kenyan traitor.

Thank you for your appreciation. I cried when I heard the UN Obama's apologetic speech. He has no backbone, no American fighting spirit, no pride in his country. He is a coward and a traitor. That's why I'm sending him to France, to be with others like him. I'm blaming his yellow blood. If I would blame his half-blackness, I would send him to Africa. But, actually, haven't we all decided, a few posts ago, that we were all racists? So let us be!
Prosper told me, a while back, that I'm a senile old lady. Now that I've reached 80, he'll say I'm totally gone. Why he pays attention to what I write is beyond me. He's probably lonely at the present time.
Posted by: Claudia on September 25, 2009 04:02 AMClaudia,
Prosper called you senile because he is jealous. Just ignore his comments.
You make 1,000 times more sense than President Obama.
Posted by: Toejam on September 25, 2009 06:31 AMI've been bummed all week without Denny rants. Hope you're having a swell time!. Meanwhile, we're still stuck with O's nonesense.
I was pleased to see may comments in the Guardian UK bashing "the one". The real people in the real world are seeing how full of crap he is.
Isn't it strange how all his friends (Hugo, Ihawkedmydinnahjacket, and Daffy Khaddaffi, and Zelaya (said Israel is bombasting him with radiation??) are total nutjobs?
Just like all his homeboys. Now what does that make him I tell you? Press will soon collapse, along with economy.
Denny, you missed a great speech by BB Net and yahoo. A showstopper. O should be ashamed of himself.
Take care and have fun.

Hey, Prosper is back and he gets it. You are absolutely correct sir. Nothing to do with race (except that's the only reason the man is currently POTUS, so that is DEFINITELY about race) and everything to do with love for your country and patriotism (which this tool has NONE for). His time in office will be short and he'll be a bad blemish on our history which we will surely be shown as a smudge (now that's racist).
Eh, let's trade with Sarkozy!
He is white and has a gorgeous wife. Basically all you need for a president. Plus, he liked W...
I like Sarkozy. He is REMARKABLY ugly, yet has a relatively Babe-A-Licious wife. But he looks like the kinda fellow it would be fun to set down & have a cold one with. Somehow or another, I don't think he'd take cheap shit offa Imadinnerjacket like our Assclown-in-Chief does. And believe it or nutz, I even kinda like Quadaffyduck...Finally, a World Leader in our time who is as crazy as me am....-Prof. Dr. Ing. Sir- please be advised that you've again overdrawn your account. Even though France appeared to have an unlimited supply of Stupid, your recent comments have taxed even our ability to meet demand. We're afraid that if you open your mouth one more time this month we shall find it necessary to apply for Stimulus help from the United State Senate and House, as they seem to have the last huge reserves of Stupid left on the planet. We beg you, for the honour of France, don't make us take such degrading step. Remember, French Stupid should be self-sustaining, and we should not have to go beyond our own borders to import the inferior American brand.
If you do not desist, we might even have to ask the US to loan us their POTUS, but that must be considered a last resort, as the unleashing of fifty mega-tonnes of dumb on the European system would surely cause a spiral of inflationary Stupidity from which the EU might not recover for decades.

Wish you could spend all of your time in Bonaire!
You're an intelligent guy and I have always admired your finest qualities. We'll always be brothers in arms, survivors of the Mattel division, and surveyors of underage butt at great concerts. I don't always agree with you, but that's never been a problem for me with you or with anyone else. However, you did throw me under the bus with your story about me being a 'closet liberal.' Your devoted followers will never forget or forgive your characterization of me as something I am obviously not. In inviting me to participate on your blog, perhaps you should have told me to assume an anonymous id that would have disguised your description of me as something all of them hate. In my clumsy attempt to identify with them by introducing myself as a friend of yours and a bona fide long-term conservative (yes, libertarians are true conservatives as conservators of the constitution, its institutions, and its values), I found myself in the middle of a bellicose town hall meeting. I shouldn't have defended myself and won't again.
As far as the promise of the blog to "push the boundaries of bad taste and political incorrectness," it doesn't seem to apply to me. If that only applies to you, fine, it's your blog. But your devoted followers seems to associate themselves with you and selectively exclude the 'bad taste and political incorrectness' of anyone they wish to gang up on ("trolls," I guess, whatever that means; how can one cross the line on a blog dedicated to pushing the boundaries of bad taste and political incorrectness?). Maybe, and I'm just guessing here, trolls are loosely defined as posters that hate conservatives? I don't know.
In the end, what I need is information I can use (facts, principles, and attitudes to counter the claims of my liberal-leaning kin, advance independent thought, and champion the deconstruction of federal government). I'm always on the lookout for new ideas. Liberals have to be educated in the error of their ways and led to think clearly about issues like national security, fiscal responsibility, and personal freedom. We can't beat them into submission. Rants feel good, but persuade no one.
After eight years of the worst administration in our history (the one that put a big dent in our 401k and yours), I have no patience with people who just call themselves "conservative." The so-called conservatives on Wall Street did a shitty job of conserving our savings and the economy. Conservative George Bush did a shitty job of conserving the World Trade Towers and defending our country. And so on and so on. Just what do your devoted followers think (no "feelings" here) conservative principles are and how can those principles possibly differ from those of libertarians and even the Libertarians? If one doesn't like the Constitution, just what is the conservative conserving?
Cliff
Oh, I see now what's happening with the email address. Thank Microsoft everyone, it's not me that's fucking it up.
Posted by: Cliff on September 25, 2009 06:17 PMCliff,
I really appreciate your desire to educate liberals, but my personal experience is that it isn't possible. Once you present them with facts, they will no longer discuss the issue at hand. They call you a name and the conversation is over. It is quite frustrating. That's why I love to come here and read the rants of Denny and his friends. It's therapy.
I find my facts elsewhere on line, at the primary source wherever possible (such as thomas.gov if I want to read the content of a bill), and would recommend you do the same if you are looking for facts. I come here for the rants and the laughs. (AOTW is one of my favorite regular posts anywhere. My mom won't use a computer, but she calls me every week to ask me who the AOTW is).
You should do some reading on what caused the collapse of the economy. Bush tried to prevent it. You can start your fact gathering with this artical from 2003.
http://www.nytimes.com/2003/09/11/business/new-agency-proposed-to-oversee-freddie-mac-and-fannie-mae.html?pagewanted=1
Hope this helps, Cliff. And good luck! If you seek to educate liberals, I predict it won't be long before you come here for the rants, too.
(I'm missing Denny, too, but glad he's having enough fun that he's not taking the time to post!!)
Posted by: Jules on September 25, 2009 07:01 PMJules,
Thanks for the information. I will pursue it.
I wish I could think better of Bush, maybe after four years of Obama I will.
I have had some success with liberals. For example, none of them seem to know why the neutron bomb was developed. When I explain that it was developed to cook Russian tank crews in a crowded Europe, causing the least damage possible to friendlies, they accept that and you can see the light turn on. It's a defensive weapon. But what else are you going to do but keep trying? We're related to some of these people.
I enjoy rants and I enjoy ranting. You're absolutely right, it is therapeutic.
Thanks for the post.

Posted by: SSG Dave Wallach on September 25, 2009 07:52 PMHello everyone,
I discovered this site a little while ago & I've been reviewing some of the past topics & commentary. I'm Canadian, I consider my political views to be moderate. I have visited the US on a number of occasions and liked it very much. I will be the first to admit that there is alot about America that I don't know, but my impression is a very positive one.
I'm going to dip a toe in here- I must admit I was surprised by the negative reaction to President Obama's speech at the UN. I listened to it & read the transcript of the speech. Forgive me if I seem not to understand, but could some of you please explain specifically your objections? Here is the transcript:
http://www.kmph.com/Global/story.asp?S=11185149&nav=menu612_9_2
Thank you. I appreciate your time & look forward to reading any responses you may post.
"I shouldn't have defended myself and won't again."
Damn, that says a lot of a person. So Bush didn't defend this country, was responsible for the WTC attacks, but you won't defend yourself and won't again. You "friend of Denny's" are worthy of AOTW.
Cliff, your e-mail address is a female that owns a faggot Gone with the Wind museum in Marietta. Wife?
You are not at IBM any more, take your white shirt, pocket protector, and glasses with white tape in the middle off. I did not know you were Denny's friend, I assumed you were a worthless america-hating progressive liberal trolling scum bag because you had not been laid or seen your dick since the seventies.
So being the pissed off irish indian computer engineer hardware disabled psychotic veteran who is watching this great country disintegrate, I figured I would engage.
Some points:
1. Gone with the Wind? WTF, GTFO
2. Libertarian? You and Boortz are doing wonders for them? It's a talking point cop out, not a party. Name any libertarian holding office in the US right now. The looney Greens with Nader and McGoofball outpoll libertarians, so I do not take them seriously at all.
3. Conservative? I would place my political views to the right of Curtis Le May and the left of Attila the hun. I think a 50 megaton thermonuclear device air detonated over the haj in Mecca is an outstanding idea. With radfo and winds aloft cooperating of course.
4. Bush? Every comment you have made about GWB makes you sound like a 25 yo lib assclown. I would say with what we went through, he did the best he could. You have a bad case of BDS. TARP and his immigration stance suck. But the old boy granted my 100% VA disability claim by executive order right before he left office. And I served under his old man and liked him alot.Anyone that armchair jockeys the eight years of GWB's presidency needs to consider what would have happened to this country under Al Gore or John Kerry.
4. Parties? Hell, I voted for Democrats in the seventies that were more conservative than most RNC folks now. Larry Mc Donald, Sam Nunn, Herman Talmadge, Zell Miller would get my vote every time.
So post some more and let's discuss.I only know Denny through the blog since he started it. I respect the hell out of him for being a Navy Vietnam Veteran. And because he does more in a wheelchair than most do supposedly "whole". I wish I had known him as long as you. I hope to meet him sometime before I croak.
Best wishes, Fubar

Actually it was a fine speach from Obama, until
you realize the speaker suffers from "Narcissistic Meglomania".
We elected a "President" not a King or Messiah.
"We" are the United States of America, not His
Omnipotent Magnificence Barker Obamma".
He's even telling the Democrat Govenor of New York not to run for re-election. And at the UN and G-20 he dictates to the world.
Next he'll have instructions for you good folks in Canada. And you better "Ten-Hut!" or you'll be branded racists.
Where's Mad King George when you need a real leader.

Pete gave you a good answer. As I started the rant, allow me to add my two-cents worth. As Pete tells us: everytime Obama speaks, it's a self-serving speech. The Savior has arrived on the scene! Now he will apologize for all USA has done wrong before Obama took over the country.
He starts by saying, "I will not apologize for my country, my people...." and then he rasps all the past policies instituted by G.W Bush. Now that he is there, things are and will be much better. He will be everybody's friend (but not of G.W.Bush.) There will be no torturing, there will be no unilateralism. He is assuming, of course, that other countries will want to cooperate instead of letting USA fight the issues by itself. As so many countries have done in the past. He is assuming that no terrorists will be caught, and that it will be essential to get informations from them.
He puts USA on an equal, moral basis with all the other countries. Does he also mean the ones run by dictators? Also Bangdalesh and Sierra Leone? Saying that USA has no moral right to act and to influence world history diminishes deliberately the most powerful country in the world. To say that it should be just one nation among others erases the fact that USA has always played a major, decisive role in all the past wars, and was the main factor in winning those wars.
To insist that all countries are equal is to trash USA exceptional uniqueness and the fact that, want it or not, presently, not ONE country can be equal to USA.
With his false humility, he betrays the sacrifices of all the American soldiers who have bought, with their blood on battlefields, the freedom Europe is enjoying today. Not once does he mention that USA has fought against communism, fascism, nazism and now terrorism. And that USA OWES NO APOLOGIES TO ANY COUNTRY. And that Americans don't give a damn if Europe and Dictators don't love America. And if Europeans leaders don't wish to cooperate, USA will go back home and leave them wallowing in their mud facing their enemies with nothing but their bare hands. And Dictators will have to sign and respect treaties or they will incur the wrath of the most powerful country of the world: the United States of America. This is not bullying people than to speak the truth.
Truth was missing in Obama's speech. Si vis pacem, para bellum. If you want peace, be ready for war. You don't get peace, by playing nice with the enemies. You don't get cooperation by flattering the little people who could not survive without you. You tell them what you want them to do, or else.
Obama has no sense of history, no gratitude for the Fathers of the American Constitution. He believes that USA was born the day he was elected.
In those difficult times, may God protect you all, my American friends. I'm proud to be your neighbour. I'm grateful that you have always respected, and appreciated the uniqueness of my country. Our relationship has been a blessing for Canada. My brother considered it an honour to work with the Yanks in WW2. I consider it an honour to have been accepted and loved by the GOC. Merci du fond du coeur.

Don't know if any of you are HA readers, but in their green room is a poster who goes by the name "Doctor Zero" While Denny's rants are missed, I think many of you and Denny would love his missives. I know Denny always appreciates a well reasoned diatribe.
Anyway, this one is on our fearful leader, the almighty anointed.
http://hotair.com/greenroom/archives/2009/09/27/the-omnipresent-leader/
I'm really growing concerned how this child of Alinsky is altering our freedom and liberty possibly to the point of "tilt"
Now how do we get it back when the Repub's aren't even trying to wrestle away the wheel from this looney bus driver? I really thought we'd see more repub leadership on the blogs and internet, on Fox or wherever they could shout out a message. Have they totally collapsed? Or are they in on it?
Denny, I hope you're having fun and we miss you. In a world gone wrong, you've got a way of lightening the load for a short period. You're stalwart in a Eastwood sort of way. Hope you're drinking some good wine in the evenings.
Posted by: pete in baltimore on September 27, 2009 07:30 AMPete, in trying to be optimistic about this countries future, I can only pray/imagine/depend on some ace up the GOP's sleeve. They've been a little TOO quite lately with everything that is going on, and I predict that they either 1) have some real dirt on this administration that they will be releasing soon or 2) have some great individual that is going to represent the conservative movement as well as or better than Reagan. Fingers crossed.
PS, I frequent HA all the time AND just found Breitbarts Big Hollywood and Big Government sites. After reading these three and Drudge, I feel safe saying I have a pretty good working knowledge of what's going on in the political world.
Posted by: Ray on September 27, 2009 08:38 AMPete - from a selfish perspective I don't think it does a serious candidate much good to make a charge 3 years before the next election. Too much time for your star to fade. If we could rewind to 2005 we'd recall that Hillary had already had all but her coronation.
IMHO it is time to fight, which is being done. Acorn is a good example. The assault on the health care bill is another. pretty potent for a party with virtually no power they can wield. We are seeing Pawlenty, Palin, and Romney doing some posturing and sniping. Job 1 is mitigate the damage this congress can do, job 2 is take back seats in 10, job 3 is galvanize to win in 2012
Posted by: patrick on September 27, 2009 09:58 AMCliff.....
I do not think anyone associated you with the Closet Liberal Denny mentioned. I certainly did not but I did think your opening statements were off the wall & definately left of center & antagonistic. As I later said ....maybe it was my bad & we will see how it goes going forward.
Incidently I am the one who posted if I had relatives who were harrassing me to support a Socialist Commie like Obama , I would boot them out in the street.......I meant it then , I mean it now. One must be true to a political belief in acordance to what this country was founded on & it is not remotely associated with the Liberal Socialst Democrat`s or a Socialist Commie like Obama.
Ray......You have picked several outstanding sites, Don Surber is another good one.
Patrick..... You are right ...we must be fighting to preserve what we have until we can vote some of these leftwing bastard`s out.
Claudia....It amazes me that you get it so easily but so many of my fellow citizens cannot. I think the fire or desire for independance which fueled this countrie`s birth still lives in Quebec.
Prosper.....You are a Socialist who hates America.....you fooled many of us but the word is out , your pretend friendship is a thing of the past.
Ray and Patrick, thanks for weighing in on my thoughts. You're right, perhaps the game is afoot as it should be. I'm not much of a poker player, and perhaps as I keep watching this amateur stumble, wondering why so many can't see it, others are smiling waiting for his even more grandiose tumbles. Ray, Breitbart is good, and i love PJTV as well. I don't read drudge as much as I probably should.
Patrick, you're right, this natural, formidable and non-violent pushback from the American people is galvanizing and probably won't go away. Mitigating the Congress is truly job one. How do we mitigate the czars? I think more than Glen Beck needs to dig into this one.
Take care guys, let's hope we're on the right track. There's an old conservative talk show guy here named Les Kinsolving who often says "I prayed for patience, and God sent me a Berkely Democrat", meaning his wife whom he loves, but disagrees on pretty much everything politically.
In a way, perhaps our prayers have been answered, God is awakening America to save itself before it's too late by allowing us this a'hole of a president.

This is a discussion blog. To discuss, you need substance. To have substance, you need a good, diversified life. You came here and insulted everyone here, just like a liberal. You got bitchslapped back. You have cried and whined just like a liberal. You have not answered, discussed, or quantified a single political point sent your way. just cried. Why do you post as an e-mail address a female who works at a faggoty Gone with the Wind Museum?

Yes, Cliff did vote for Obama.....He is the friend of Denny who had labeled him a closet liberal as he had been browbeat by his wife`s liberal family into voting for Obama`s change & hope who now has regret because he think`s he is an independent Libertarian. Denny apparently think`s if Cliff associates with our group it would be good therapy for him. Yes, he got off on a bad start but let`s see what develop`s.
