We're Back

Actually, we never left. Remember back during the 90's when Thunder Rodent Thighs talked about the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy out to get her husband? Well now it's good ol' BJ who's talking about the VRWC.

WASHINGTON - Bill Clinton says a vast, right-wing conspiracy that once targeted him is now focusing on President Barack Obama.

By golly, he's right. I've even got a membership card.

Another warning from a VRWC member.....

Denny, Your agnostic belief`s aside, this should be disturbing.......

In 1952 President Truman established a National Day of Prayer.
In 1988 President Reagan designated the first Thursday in May to be that day.
This year the Messiah cancelled this day`s celebration at the White House so as not to offend anyone.
As many of us recall the Messiah as a candidate declared "The USA is no longer a Christian Nation" This year he stated in Egypt "You might say America is a Muslim nation "He has also said he would side with Muslim countries against Israel.
On Sept 25,2009 a National Day of Prayer for the Muslim Religion was held on Capitol Hill next to the White House. While Obama did not attend this debacle he embraced the event & permission to hold this event could only have come from the White House.
According to "Islam on" .....The Message was "Our Time Has Come" & a statement that the White House will become the Muslim House was made.
Could it be the real Agenda of the Messiah has surfaced? Maybe, maybe not..... but all patriotic Americans who know & believe in our Christian Heritage regardless of Party should be outraged & be prepared to vote him out in 2012.Actually a full investigation of Obama, his past, his background & activities as President should be conducted to establish if possible ground`s for impeachment. Those who supported his policies him in the Congress & Senate should be replaced in 2009.

So once again we say "How`s the hope & change working for all you Obama voter`s now?" When will you wake up?

Posted by: dudley1 on September 28, 2009 01:14 PM

dudley1 - Actually, I'm an atheist. That being said, I do realize that this nation was founded on Judeo-Christian values. I have no problems with prayer. I respect the beliefs of most religions. Islam is an exception due to their intolerance. For example, they expect us to respect their beliefs, but they refuse to reciprocate. Bibles are forbidden in Saudi Arabia. I remember what Palestinian animals did to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher a few years back when they took refuge there. I believe JHE is a closet Moo-slime. By his actions lately it appears he may be opening the closet door.

Posted by: Denny on September 28, 2009 01:25 PM

Denny and Dudley1 -

You're right about the Moslems. I'm not speaking as a Christian here (though I believe in God) but about our cultural values and our way of life. It's impossible for a true Islamist to respect us. We're the infidels. Their duty to Allah is to invade us, convert us, or destroy us. Either we accept and adapt to their laws and lifestyle, or we'll be killed. The moderate Moslems are also targeted by the extremists. They don't call themselves terrorists but soldiers of Allah. Presently many countries (including USA and Canada) are slowly infiltrated. And there is an attempt to impose parts of the Shari Law everywhere. It starts by one law for one small group. Then it will reach our whole justice system.

It's sad that the lefties worry about a right-wing conspiracy, and do not see the insidious islamist encroachment. As you both explain it so well.

They do not move to our countries to better their lives. It's their duty to move here and change us. We're not fighting a war on terror. We're fighting a religious war. Whether we believe in God or not makes no difference to Islam. We're the enemies if we don't follow Allah.

Very hard to know where the President stands, and what he believes. But one thing is clear. He doesn't have the guts to confront strong, well defined opposition like Iran. And his megalomaniac desire to be friend with all will allow Islamists to gain access to the White House, and to erode the foundation of your country. We live in a dangerous time for our civilization.

I haven't said anything here that you didn't know. But each one of us, who sees what's happening, would do well to put it down in writing. It clarifies what we're fighting against. And strenghten our resolve to oppose Islam, not only politically and on a battlefield, but in any small area of our daily life.

Posted by: Claudia on September 28, 2009 03:05 PM

Well said, Claudia. Either the AssClown in Chief is an idiot - or his true self is becoming more clear every day. I don't need some bible thumping fool as President - but I do expect him (or her) to adhere to the US Constitution and respect and defend America's values and laws.

Posted by: patrick on September 28, 2009 10:43 PM

To all long-time Readers:

It's against my better judgement and will probably be my very last post here, but I feel a very deep need to wonder if you even understand what (and where) non-denominational grace comes from.

Nothing dollar-able I assure you. It certainly does not come from any effort on your (or my) part.

All of my travels around the world, and certainly in the United States, was and is in search of those places where one could sit quietly and realize that the Earth was here long before any of us; where one could get a 'recharge' simply by listening to that eon-long song.

All of my travails around the world, and certainly in the United States, indicate to me that Man thinks he might IMPROVE what Nature has bestowed with that eon-long song.

I want no fight; I want simply to share the wonderment and ease of being able to actually hear what Nature is saying; to share how profoundly it assauges all the hurts and wounds and anguish that accompanies daily modern life.

I've always thought that conservative and conservation spring from the same well-spring; my time here has made it abundantly clear that nothing could be further from the truth.

I'm not wrong; neither are you. We simply take different time-view. I look long, you look short. I'm concerned with what natural treasure I'll pass along, you might be concerned with what monetary treasure will pass along.

All I know is that entering the living rooms of cultures 2-3-thousands of years old is far more valuable to me than whatever Ikea is offering for the Fall season.

That's where I came in; that's where I'll leave. No one here has ever looked for anything more than support and it comes goodly, strongly and daily with heart. I applaud that!

It's like this: you see a mountain, a valley, a blade of grass and wonder what it can yield and hope the answer will provide you a monetary value or edge; I see the very same things and know already what it has (and will) yield without intervention from Man.

Nothing dollar-able I assure you. I bid you fond-farewell, good wind and the long-term joy of timeless Soul. For you, your children, your children's children and all the generations to come. They too might enjoy the wonderments and pleasures that we did when we lived.

In essence: listen, don't talk. For the benefit of the generations you hope will come.

I'm headed to where the real PTSD veterans live.

You can take that and SHOVE IT UP YOUR ASS on account of you would not understand it if I set it out on your doorstep.

You DO have a doorstep don't you?

Just don't come looking for mine. Toe-Turds like YOU are why I'm gone.

Don't you feel EXTRA-SPECIAL now, just like you wanted to?

With some notable-exceptions, why not post your address and let's play a game:

You try and guess if I'll kick down your front or your back door (or maybe a side window) when I get there and you bet on you can gun me down before I get to you?

Obviously, the winner will get to post here.

After all, it's just a game, right?

Toe, (and others), you didn't even READ what I posted earlier! You CERTAINLY didn't understand what I offered!

Where do you live? Be specific!

Right on Danno. We've had our fair share of differences, but that doesn't mean we can't tilt a beer or nine sometime in the future. Best of luck in which ever direction you're headed...

Posted by: CharlieDelta on September 29, 2009 04:42 AM

If that Veteran(?) name-entitled of Toe Jam will respond, you'll have all the data you need as to where I'm headed.

I am truly sick and tired of holding inside all of this RAGE that came from volunteering to fight for this Country! It was not there before but it damn sure is surfacing now!

Without benefit of drink, smoke or other, I rock, back-and-forth; I cry & I wonder why I even tried. Many amatuer-Doc's here have tried to diagnose me; let me help: I have become a raging-maniac inside.

America truly IS the Great Satan in the grand-scheme of things and I fell for it; it has me shaking, rocking, shuddering, and crying at inopportune moments.

I don't deserve this! I tried to do the right thing by both Country and YOU! Two Honorable Discharge's once meant something Noble; now it means I was a sucker .... -TWICE!

I'm ready to pass on to whatever is next. This Nation squandered its Heritage when it betrayed a nobody-nothing like me.

Hope YOU were not part of that betryal like that dip-fuck ToeJam!

Posted by: DanS. on September 29, 2009 05:10 AM

Don't sweat the small things. You being a a Nam Veteran I have no idea where you're comin' from. I won't even pretend to understand where you're coming from, but I have to ask you a few questions...

As a man fighting for his country how can you say this? As a volunteer to fight for this country how can you honestly say this?

"America truly IS the Great Satan in the grand-scheme of things"?????
Again, how can you say this as a man who fought for his country voluntarily and valiantly? How?

Toejam aside, how can you say these words with a straight face and expect someone to take you seriously Danno?

As I said before, you and I have had our share of differences, but if you ever make it to
San Diego, I hope you'll let me buy you a beer and bitchslap you.

Well, maybe not the bitchslapping part but the buying you a beer part...

Happy Trails dude.

Now Dan, please take your medicine like a good boy Dan, we have the appointment for your E.S.T. scheduled for early tomorrow.

If that doesn't help and you still want to whup my butt I'll meet you at the corner of University Ave and Franklin Street in Chapel Hill, NC at noon next Saturday. That's about 100-yards West of the post office.

Sounds to me like you got your marching orders from the Messiah. Fuck this country ? Really? After all the advantages of life this Nation has allowed you to work for? I guess you do need & depend on your med`s after all.You really need to do something for your unresolved anger & the demon`s which haunt you.

Anyway DanS.....I wanted to be your friend, still do, when & if our path`s cross I`ll tip a few with you. I still think you are a good dude despite the blatant liberalism, but that should not interfere with a good beer.

Just remember the message we all have been saying here for years about what this country was founded on , what it stands for & what it take` s to maintain our freedom & standing in the world.

Personally I do not think this is goodbye! We have been down this path came back before. I expect you will do so again, after all this is the best show in town , the best website to blog on & where real American`s hang out.

Take care Dan ...."Happy Trail`s to you until we meet again"

Posted by: Denny on September 29, 2009 11:58 AM

First ....What do you mean by what is & where doe`s non-denominational grace come from? If you mean acceptance of other`s belief`s ...I am OK with that, unless it is a Pseudo-Religion whose basic tenet is the forced conversion or death of all Christian`s & western civilization.

Second...Did you read my post about the Muslim National Day of Prayer on the White House Grounds & are you comfortable with that given the cancellation of the Christian National Day of Prayer by Obama?

Third....Do you still believe in the Hope & Change as promised by Obama?

Four....You seem to think we all put a dollar value on the treasures of this Earth ....not so but we accept the fact God gave us dominion over the earth & it`s creatures with the right to use not abuse what we have been provided with. On the other hand, most of those who share the political or environmental belief`s you have posted believe while it is fact God gave us Dominion ....He made a mistake & they are trying to correct it. This is real arrogance or a failure to understand the grand design.

Anyway....this is an addendum of my last post as
did not have sufficent time to put it all together earlier. An answer would be nice, even though you alway`s have left questions unanswered in blog`s past.

Posted by: dudley1 on September 29, 2009 12:36 PM

I did take the time to read your first post, and in fact agreed with most of it. I also think it is a shame that a large majority of posters here can not take time to think seriously about the thoughts that one puts down here, but on the other hand it is wicked funny how dumb and ignorant they can make themselves look trying to belittle and demoralize those that they do not agree with.

Posted by: Bill on September 29, 2009 12:47 PM

It is easy to post a comment sans any documentation of what you post. It is also easy to leave troll droppings in an attempt to inflame a situation.

What I see is this....all of us who post here on a regular basis are wrong according to you even though a review of archival post`s would show we do post documentation to support our post`s particulary when the element involved is contrary to previously posted or accepted criteria. are just a troll massaging your ego. Unless you can produce evidence which is factual & proves any of what we post is wrong, I suggest you are indeed very misinformed or are the troll you appear to be. Feel free to correct that assuption with facts if you can.

"I did take the time to read your first post, and in fact agreed with most of it"

Ding, Ding Ding. We have a winner. This tells me all I need to know about big Bill and his thought processes. Not only does he understand what Dan wrote in that first hodgepodge of thoughts he put down, but he AGREES with most of them. I won't say anymore as I wouldn't want to belittle and demoralize him anymore than I might have already. It's always about "emotions" with these lib/dims/socialists/trolls.

Posted by: Ray on September 29, 2009 03:02 PM

DanS - at some point, maybe it was Adam, some poor SOB was standing naked in the rain, freezing his ass off. He saw a dead cow, skinned it and made a tunic. So he took nature and made it work for him. He increased the yield. He then saw some wood, and made a lean to which kept the rain at bay. He increased the yield of the wood. Its what Homo Sapiens do. always have. hope we always will. Whatever non denominational grace is I wish you a boatload of it.

Bill & DanS......

Yeah! Bill is a troll , Gave him an opportunity to be something else but as originally thought he was just taking advantage of the troubled thoughts of DanS to amuse himself. He is apparently also an asshole.

As for DanS....He probably has sobered up & having second thought`s regarding his tirade.......When you recover from your emotional low point, I am interested in your answer`s to the question`s I posed to you.

Posted by: dudley1 on September 30, 2009 08:17 AM

Dudley I am so glad that you think so highly of me. I also love how I am now a "lib/dims/socialists/trolls" because I agreed with someones idea that you do not agree with. THAT IS MY POINT EXACTLY!!!

Oh and sorry I was not able to reply back sooner, I was busy working, then going to pick up my children, and then doing things around my house that I am continuing to pay for.

I would like to know what a "troll" is exactly. I looked in the mirror, and I must admit, it is a very ugly sight, but not what I would think a troll would look like.

Oh and as far as Dan's post, I do agree that the Human population should respect Mother Nature for her vast beauty and all that she provides for us. While we do need to have a symbiotic relationship with nature, this does not mean that we should continue to destroy every thing for our personal gain. MAYBE WE SHOULD TRY TO CONSERVE SOMETHING FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS.

Posted by: bill on September 30, 2009 09:44 AM

Bill, as a hunter, fisherman, and general outdoor kind of person, I can tell you there are PLENTY of conservation mechanisms in place that will see to it that there's plenty of nature for future generations to enjoy so don't worry about that. It was me who labeled you a lib/dims/socialist/troll not because you agreed with DanS's post (that just makes you a fruit loop), but because you brought up demoralizing and belittling in your previous thread. That's whining and we here don't do whining. Hence you earned the moniker.

Posted by: Ray on September 30, 2009 10:38 AM

Thanks for clearing that up. And I do have to agree I am a fruit loop (I see nothing wrong with being outside the norm). And I also do agree that there are lots of mechanisms in place to conserve and even use nature for recreational purposes(I have a degree in Park Management). And it would be my best guess as a hunter fisherman etc that you have seen hunting places disappear, fishing rivers become polluted and what not. I am in my mid 30's and have seen some of this myself. I have seen some of the post about global warming here, and the reaction of those who post here. And in my opinion, most do not seem to care what is left when they leave this great planet we call home. I think it is our duty to leave a better place than when we came. Yes Dan's posts are off the wall, but yet usually he is just kicked around for expressing his thoughts. Just recently, I remember reading some saying you could not teach a liberal, well the more I read here the more I think that goes for both extremes (right and Left). I say this because it has been my perception while reading almost every comment posted on here for about the last 3 years, very rarely does one take the time to discuss the other side of the coin without labeling or shitting on the other side (maybe this is the problem with our governing bodies, never able to rationally discuss anything).

I will wipe the troll dropping residue off my typing fingers now.

Posted by: Bill on September 30, 2009 12:39 PM

Glad you reposted to clear up the perception. If you have read the posts of yesteryear then you know we are of the conservative philosophy as it most closely represents what the founder`s of this country believed in. Certainly the viewpoints expressed by DanS & similar fall far outside what is historically correct for this country. & represent a continuation of the decline of this nation & our power & influence which has been underway since the days of FDR.

Any honest review of historic views & values show a steady erosion by the socialist policie`s of the Democratic party & the influence of the Socialist philosophy over our educational, legal & governmental systems. Extension of rule`s, regulations & control to the private sector was always outside Federal Jurisdiction & where necessary was a right reserved for the individual states.
Our Federal Court`s have chosen on many issues to ignore the Constitution as written & extended their interpretation of language contained the Bill of Right`s to encompass concept`s & ideas which were never assigned to Federal jurisdiction. In addition they have mandated law`s which were more appropriately the responsibility of the Legislative branch if indeed any federal jurisdiction really did apply.

I could go on for many pages with issue`s which clearly establish excessive Socialist influence at the Federal level but given this......Why should we consider for one second any validity of a viewpoint so opposed to the intent of our Nation as it was established to be particulary when the record for Socialization in this country has been an unbroken trail of failure to solve any problem only to make it worse & to make cost`s prohibitive.

No! When post`s are presented which present idea``s or a course of action alien to the intent of our constitution & history of this country, we will first try to educate the poster then debunk the message, I see no fault with this. Know your country, its history ,what the founder`s wanted & defend it against those who would bring it down.

In the case of DanS among other`s who post here without any regard for the policies or ideas which created this great Nation & insist instead a revision to a Socialist system & support those dedicated to this happening & destruction of the United States as originally founded we will turn their blather against what they propose.

Also do not think your respect for this earth or true conservation is unique. We in this country are blessed with a system of National Parks, Forest`s,Seashores, Scenic Highways,Byways & Conservation districts which dwarf anything found in other countries. One does not have to be a Liberal Socialist to be an Environmentalist & true conservation is not under ownership of the Liberal socialists either.

As for me ,I am a lifelong hunter, fisherman& wilderness activist who has been in Sportsmen`s association`s for over 50 years , a benefactor life member of the NRA & Deputy conservation officer for 7 year`s. I have walked the walk , talked the talk & daresay my credentials will meet or exceed any which most of our more loudmouthed Environmentalist`s proclaim to have.

Where does that leave us now ......I am indeed glad you chose to respond , that was my intent.I sincerely hope you continue to post but be forwarned many of us are very passionate regarding , freedom, individuality & the American way.

Posted by: dudley1 on September 30, 2009 03:57 PM

"And it would be my best guess as a hunter fisherman etc that you have seen hunting places disappear, fishing rivers become polluted and what not"

Actually Bill, I haven't seen this though I'm sure it occurs. In the 70's as a tot, we were told not to eat the crabs and fish I caught out of the Hudson river. In the 80's as a high schooler, the river was cleaned up and we were able to eat those catches. Here in Georgia, Lake Lanier had great bass and lake trout fishing when I moved here in 1983. Now, not only does it still have this, but also has stripers and an increasing number of walleye. I would tend to wager that what you are referring to (the wanton loss of habitat due to mans careless regards) occurs more in the urban areas that we all know historically have a higher percentage of Libs/socialists/dims. Coincidence or related? I think you know the answer. All these morons extolling their environmental/greenie agenda have been proven again and again to be some of the biggest carbon footprint leaving critters on the planet. So while I am an active participant and agree with environmental stewardism, I am an opponent to the government regulated, forced upon us at a cost type of protection. I am not sure if that's what DanS was referring to in his original post, however, if you have been around here long enough (which apparently you haven't), you'd realize that DanS is a lib/dim/socialist of the worse kind----the kind that doesn't realize it and denies it (he voted for a third party WTF?)

Posted by: Ray on September 30, 2009 04:49 PM

Actually I have seen what Bill was referring to.....Case in point! Lake Erie once a body of water covered with algae & polluted with agricultural runoff & industrial waste has become in comparison almost pristine with enormous Walleye & Smallmouth fisheries, Sturgeon are on the rebound, & in Pennsylvania a thriving Steelhead fishery exists with fish in the 25 lb class & 40+ inch`s long. The water`s are clean &, beach`s are full with tourist`s.

The Steelhead fishery is something I have first hand experience with as a local group called 3CU made up with representation from 3 sportsmens clubs, a chapter of Trout unlimited & a dedicated Fisheries Warden worked together to construct raceways, clean our streams, hatch , raise , & stock our streams & Lake Erie with fingerling & 1, 2 or 3 year trout. This success led to similar success with Brown Trout & some success with Brookies.I was fortunate to have been a delegate with one club & a deputy warden who worked with the fish commission to see this project succeed beyond wildest expectations . It served as a model for similar ventures by many other groups in multiple states & continues to this day working to build on initial success to further improve Lake Erie & tributary stream habitat & fisheries.

As for Climate Change & Global Warming......I would think if Bill has really read our posts for the last three years concerning this issue, the documentation presented by many of us which establish the Al Gore Lie & refute the false assertation`s for mans responsibility with the truth being natural forces & the sun are far more responsible then mankind could ever be with the Earth now in a cooling period should give pause to any belief he might have in that Liberal Environmental premise.

"And it would be my best guess as a hunter fisherman etc that you have seen hunting places disappear, fishing rivers become polluted and what not"

Ray & dudley1-

I have seen both sides of that spectrum. Some of the best pristine fishing holes my dad used to take us boys fishing to as kids are now some of the most polluted spots these days. Not from the 'true' angler but from so-called "environmentalists" who have their sit-in's, sing kumbeya, leave candy wrappers and empty water bottles, broken glass bottles, fishing line, dirty diapers, dead fish, styrofoam worm containers and anything/everything they are supposedly against on the ground and ultimately in the water. We're talking Kalifornia here! One of the most "green" states in the Union.

I thought these hippies were all about keeping the environment clean. What a crock! From my entire existance in this shitty marxist state, I can assure you that it's the hypocritical liberals shouting the loudest about preserving the land for the future, yet are the biggest offenders when it comes to fucking it up for the future. No one I fish with leaves their trash and shit on the ground. What we haul in, we haul out. Where the fuck are they when it comes time for clean-up? Where the fuck are they when bitching about the six-pack plactic rings wrapped around a shiner's neck caused by one of their own? When the fuck are they going to step up to the plate and stop being hypocrits and practice what they preach? Nevermind, that was a few rhetorical questions just to humor you.

On the other hand, I've been to a few hunting/plinking places when there was trash all over the place and shit everywhere.

Again, broken bottles, shot up washing machines, casings all over the ground and a plethora of garbage that we didn't show up with, but left with in trash bags. We bring a shitload of trashbags with us on these trips because we expect to show up to a hypocritical mess of destruction. Most, if not all of this trash is left by these hypocrits. You can tell by the empty spray cans left on the ground and the anti-dubya grafitti on the rocks in the surrounding areas. It's the ol' "do as I say, not as I do" rhetoric (insert broken record here).

I say this because it has been my perception while reading almost every comment posted on here for about the last 3 years, very rarely does one take the time to discuss the other side of the coin without labeling or shitting on the other side (maybe this is the problem with our governing bodies, never able to rationally discuss anything).

Bill, I wanted to say that this is the only time I'm going to engage you, but if you continue to make assinine statements like that, I will continue to call you on your bullshit. The "other side of the coin" (if rational and not loopy) has been discussed (and proven wrong) since I've been visiting here. That is what's kept me coming back since '03. Sure there's been some emotional name calling (guilty as charged) but to say, "very rarely does one take the time to discuss the other side of the coin without labeling or shitting on the other side" tells us that you are an FNG and have no idea WTF you're talking about.

It's been your perception while reading almost every comment posted here for the last three years?

If you've been reading GOC for the last three years, supposedly absorbed the comments, and your first post out of the gate is this:

I did take the time to read your first post, and in fact agreed with most of it. I also think it is a shame that a large majority of posters here can not take time to think seriously about the thoughts that one puts down here, but on the other hand it is wicked funny how dumb and ignorant they can make themselves look trying to belittle and demoralize those that they do not agree with.

...I have only one thing to tell you...

You're either a troll, a liar or both. Take yer pick.

Yes I know this is a very right wing conservative place, and this is one of the reasons I continue to come to Grouchy Land. I wish I could say that I was knowledgeable when it comes to political history, but I can not. I can say that although the decisions of the different branches (executive, legislative and judicial) may not be to your liking, Our founding fathers put this system into place as a system of checks and balances to allow growth and change (as with a pond if its stagnant it stinks). I do believe that the government continues to put its nose where it does not belong such as the recent bailouts of the banks and car industry and the poorly though out "no Child Left Behind" act. You correctly state that when one presents an idea that you feel is going against what you think the founders wanted, you do try to educate the poster (and this I come for) but more often than not the person is labeled and belittled.

And thank you for being a good citizen of the planet, and a point that I have tried to make on some of the Global Warming BS posts "One does not have to be a Liberal Socialist to be an Environmentalist" Although Pope Gore has made it a political issue it is up to the common man to keep the real environmental problems a human issue. Oh and I think the "loud mouth" environmentalist are only good at one thing running their gums.

I have heard that the Hudson was once a very nasty river and yes it has been cleaned up a lot, But are there still suggested limits on what you can eat from it? I know around here (Maine) there are suggestions not to eat to much. As far as your suggestion that is because the political believes of those who live in the urban areas is the reasoning for the lose of habitat, I just can not buy it. I think it is just to many people who are thoughtless about their personal impact on the land.

Oh and if you where to look at the Pope Gore Global Warming BS posts, I am the one who always asks why does taking care of the environment have to be a political issue, and no I do not agree with global warming, I believe that it is environmental cycles and it is man's responsibility to "leave no trace" on the planet. Obviously we have some impact on the earth, but why can't we try to make it as little as possible. For that matter it makes economical sense, Fuel economical vehicle less money out of pocket and going to those Arab bastards (and yes we should drill here), Use less power, again less money going out of pocket. Buy local foods when possible, helps your neighbor make a living WTF. Do these beliefs mean I must be labeled a Dumocrat?

California nuff said!!
I think it is unfair that you blame the left for the trash, when i am willing to bet that its mostly teenagers being stupid, we where all there once. And yes the true sportsman does tend to care for the land!
"Bill, I wanted to say that this is the only time I'm going to engage you, but if you continue to make asinine statements like that, I will continue to call you on your bullshit."
So what is it going to be? This is the only time your going to battle with me, and thus I never have to read you attacks after this or will you continue to call me on what you consider bullshit because you do not agree with me?

Oh and this is not my first post in Grouchy land, and again thanks for proving my point, you just got to put a label on me.

"You're either a troll, a liar or both. Take yer pick."

...or will you continue to call me on what you consider bullshit because you do not agree with me?

But it is bullshit Bill. You claim to have read almost every comment here for the last three years and say, "very rarely does one take the time to discuss the other side of the coin without labeling or shitting on the other side".

There have been plenty of discussions here from different sides without labels being placed or as you say "shitting on" the other side, so either your memory sucks ass, your reading comprehension isn't up to par, or like I said before, you're lying.

And yes, I do label people. You should be greatful that I at least gave you some choices to pick from...

Oh yeah and one more thing Bill. That was mistype on my part. It was 2:18 a.m. on the west coast and I was deep into an 18 pack.

It was supposed to read, "Bill, I wanted to say that this was the only time I'm going to engage you, but if you continue to make assinine statements like that, I will continue to call you on your bullshit".

Make more sense now?

I want to gently dis-abuse my dear pal CD of something he just posted:

There have been plenty of discussions here from different sides without labels being placed

No, that ain't true.

Posted by: DanS. on October 2, 2009 01:06 AM

Sure it's true Dans. Apparently you never read Saturday Boobage, Saturday Bach/Saturday Guitar, Sunday Metal, Monday Pun etc. I don't think I can ever recall label making or shit-tossing on any of those posts.

Now if you're talking about politics, the only time labels are made and/or shit gets tossed is when some moonbat comes barking and trolling around with insane comments containing the following:

a.) Typical liberal talking points
b.) Irrevelent statements
c.) Flat out lies and bullshit
d.) Statements containing total and complete BDS
e.) All the above

BTW, that hiatus' that none of us believed you were actually taking sure was quite short this time...

Well shit! Here it is almost 01:30 PDT, I was just getting ready to hit the sheets and then I caught this little diddy:

I think it is unfair that you blame the left for the trash, when i am willing to bet that its mostly teenagers being stupid, we where all there once.

Sure Bill, I was there once too. Hell, I was there once, twice, three times a lady. I'm sorry you think it's "unfair" and I hate to piss on your parade and "attack" you, but you would lose that bet. I don't know how much you get out and look around but the hyprocrisy is surrounding you and it comes from both sides of the aisle. I realize that and don't deny it. There are sides. Pick one instead of trying to walk the fence.

I'm not assuming it's liberals leaving the trash. I know it is. It comes from experience. First-hand life experience. What I've seen, what I've done and where I've been and I can tell you that I've seen a shitload of hypocrisy coming from the left especially in this department among many, many others.

I find it quite telling that you automatically defend the left and blame it on "teenagers". That's like when France was burning down the media kept blaming in on the 'angry yutes' when we all know who really was to blame.

Why is it that liberals don't want to admit they're liberals? If they're so dead-set on their convictions, why aren't they proud of their convictions, standing up and actually defending them. I have no problem saying that I'm a conservative. Hell, I'm fucking proud to say that I'm a conservative and I'll stand behind every last one of mine.

Bill, if you need a perfect example of liberal vs. conservative hyprocrisy I can help you...

CD & Bill.......

While it is true teenager`s are prone to making a mess at their clandestine beer bash`s ......The sad truth is many so -called sportsmen willfully litter leaving bait container` s, fishing line, lure box`s, sandwich wrapper s, beer can`s even trash from their vehicles where they enjoyed the wilderness experience. Ask any Conservation officer & they will confirm this.
Oh! It is also true a significant percentage will intentionally exceed fish & game bag limits, when they think they can get away with it.Some of the cases I was involved with which resulted from staking out certain hotspots were downright humorous & netted many stolid upright citizens including a teacher or two , police officer`s & a minister attending to one of fair sexed members of his flock......He did not have either a fishing or hunting license but he bagged an out of season trophy.

Let me give you a hint if you are so inclined as to litter regarding beer/pop cans .....On the bottom of most cans a lasered identification etch is found which identifies all can`s contained in that production batch. So when a Conservation officer finds you are in possession of a case/sixpack of brew for which he has a matching empty can are deemed guilty of litter, so make sure you keep all your cans together & dispose of together one time properly or you may pay the fine.

DanS.....Your trip was indeed a short one ,perhap`s you will answer my questions.

CD - You left out thread hijacking, sumpin' I've let DanS get away with for years.

DanS - Admit it. You just can't stay away.

Incidently the massive National day of prayer for the muslim religion in DC next to the White House was a dud. Organizer`s expected a minimum of 50,000 camel humpers to attend but less then 3000 were there. Screw the Messiah again.

Denny did you remove my post from today at about 11:30ish?

Posted by: Bill on October 2, 2009 02:56 PM

Bill - Nope. I don't work that way. I may edit posts, but I very seldom delete them. If your post is successful, you will be able to immediately see it on the site.

Ok thanks, I must not have posted it then.
