Election

Hey! Howza 'bout them election results? The Republicans swept Virginia. That should make Mo K happy.

Christie won in Joisey. Jimbo is ecstatic and Fausta is surprised, as am I. WTF happened? Couldn't the Dims find enough dead people to vote? Couldn't they round up enough homeless people and welfare leaches? This is a race I was sure the Dims were gonna find a way to win. I knew Christie was gonna have to have a margin of at least 10,000 votes otherwise there would be numerous recounts until the Dims found enough missing votes to win. Didja ever notice that every time there is a recount, on every round of a recount more Dimocrat votes are "found"? It's like a law of nature. Looks like all the campaigning Jug Hussein Ears did for Corzine was all in vain. BWAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA!

Here in Atlanta, Mary Norwood, the white candidate who was accused of the R word (Republican, not racist) didn't get a majority so there will be a runoff between her and the black dude who came in second, Kasim Reed. This race is now black and white. Just remember, if whites vote for a white candidate, they're racists. If blacks vote for a black candidate, they're conscientious voters. Blacks can't be racists. That's another law of nature. Only whites can be racists.

There will be a runoff election in another four weeks. It should be entertaining. I expect Reed to win. Atlanta is 52% black.

It was a good night for Republicans. Alas, they lost in New York 23. Hey RNC! How does it feel to give $900K to a RINO, who, after she dropped out of the race, endorsed the Dimocrat. She was further to the left than the Dimocrat who ran. I know you want to be inclusive and have a "big tent", but do you really want to have a member of your party who was endorsed by Kos?

I really think it was funny that Baghdad Bob Gibbs said that JHE wasn't watching the election results. Yeah. And the sun is gonna rise in the west tomorrow. What a tool!

But what was he watching? A documentary about himself. (Link from Jammie Wearing Fool)

During the 10AM ET hour of America’s Newsroom on Fox News Channel, fill-in co-host Martha Maccallum told viewers what President Obama watched on election night while Democrats suffered big losses in New Jersey and Virginia: “Robert Gibbs said, well, he was actually watching, you know, the HBO special about his year-long campaign and how it all went.”

Maybe he can get the DVD and give it to Queen Elizabeth to go along with the DVD of his speeches that he gave her. I wonder how much time JHE spends in front of a mirror each day?

I hope these wins presage a Republican victory in 2010, but I'm sure the Stupid Party can find a way to fuck up. As it is, let's just bask in what was a good day for Republicans and a bad day for Dimocrats and JHE.

I think the Dems decided to put some constraints on Acorn.

Naaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what the hell am I thinking.

Speaking of Acorn, the dems have managed to institutionalize theft of money and votes by using our tax money to pay all of these illegitimate organizations.

All that talk about defunding Acorn. Did it happen?

That should make Mo K happy.

More than I can possibly express. I was absolutely giddy with delight watching the results trickle in. :-)

And like you wrote, Denny, let's enjoy the moment but 2010 is a long way off and there's still much to do and a lot of time to screw it up.

BTW, I like Glenn Beck's thoughts on a "big open tent".

...And no disrespect intended, but the RNC has done a bang-up job of Tooling Things Up, up til last night. This black fella they have as the head of it now seems to Know What He's Doing, & he's about the only guy around who can castigate Hoosein Jug Ears w/o being automatically labelled a Racist...

Left wing numbers fell from last general election's swoonfest 'cause there was no longer any allure for blacks and college liberals. If I'd been a betting man, I'd have put a few bucks on Corzine being abandoned for that reason alone, if not for the fact that most of the citizens in his state are united in dislike for him personally.

Corzine, too, just LOOKED like a guy that it was easy to despise...The teacher you had so much trouble with in the 6th grade...The smartass supervisor who docked you half-a-day's pay for being 15 minutes late to work after a car breakdown 3 days B4 Thanksgiving in '97...The insurance adjustor who denied yr backed-up pipes claim...
