kerrcarto - you are correct...a true red blooded American never forgets. It is all the American Hating, illegal immigrants, and self-loathing fools that I worry about.

After watching videos of the voters leaving the polls last year and answering questions about the candidates, issues, campaign promises, track records, I am convinced that most Americans have no clue what their candidate has done or intends to do. I think that there needs to be an 'entrance test.' Don't make it too hard, but the questions need to be tough enough that you cannot answer them if you haven't been paying attention. Make them cover the items I mentioned before (voting track record, positions they have held, yada, yada, yada). This will force only INFORMED citizens (not illegal citizens) to be able to cast a vote that will decide this country's future. But that is probably racist.

I personally think that every member of CONgress should be given a test on the Constitution, and they should be able to pass it. If they can't, then they need to attend a class on it. If they're going to work for us, then they should know the basis of our government. Is that really too much to ask?
