I rode in a plane like that a few times. That canvas webbing is not comfortable but when you're in the military, you learn to sleep in a lot of uncomfortable positions.

He once said that it was true that only two things that fell from the sky ever did any damage. Bird shit and Paratroopers! Of course, that was befor Smart Bombs, Cruse Missiles, and multiple independantly targetable re-entry vehicles.
