Incredible! Such virtuosity...
Posted by: Claudia on December 5, 2009 08:08 PMI certainly enjoy the music you post, though I save the classical for Sunday morning. Wherever he performed this piece, the acoustics were perfect.

I think this was recorded there as well.
Posted by: Denny on December 6, 2009 12:41 PMThank you, Denny, for sending us back to Asturias. This time, I put it with my Favorites to listen to it, as needed, when Life gets to me!
Posted by: Claudia on December 6, 2009 01:51 PMclaudia - Don't forget this one. He discusses tremolo.
Posted by: Denny on December 6, 2009 02:03 PMMany thanks! I had not heard this video. He is unbelievable, Denny. His fingers are totally connected with the strings, hardly moving, and we hear this crystal-clear tremolo coming from nowhere, it seems. What an artist! I wish I had been there. But, at least, we have the recording.
Posted by: Claudia on December 6, 2009 09:41 PMMostly Cajun (giving credit to Denny) has borrowed this post, to the delight of a few readers. I told them that every Saturday, the GOC music post restores my sanity. Unfortunately, I don't know how to link. But with Google, the GOC initials always bring me to your blog. It should work for them, too.
I know you don't need another crowd, Denny. But the crowd needs this sort of music to survive the grayness of the world.
Posted by: Claudia on December 7, 2009 02:39 PMClaudia - What do you mean I "don't need another crowd"? I love crowds! The more the merrier!
