Is Pope Albert I of the Church of AGW in Washington DC? Just wondering.
Posted by denny at February 6, 2010 10:29 PMPope Albert I is in hiding like he always is when it comes down to it...
Posted by: CharlieDelta on February 7, 2010 01:28 AMWell Dah Denny?
I guess you didn't see "The Day After Tomorrow", and someother science documentaries.
I mean Dah? As the globe warms up the hot air has to go somewhere. And we all know that Hot Air rises. Dah? And so the cold air in the upper atmosphere has to go somewhere,,right?
So it goes down. Creating snow, freezing rain and freezing temperatures on the global ("Global", that's a cool word.) surface. Except in the Artic and the Other-Artic where it still gets warm and the ice caps melt killing Polorbears, whales and Bluefin tuna.
Denny, get a life, or read a book, or better yet, see a Hollywood movie.

Down here in NE Tennessee, we got RAIN-Lots 'n' lots of rain, on top of what was already a pretty soggy fall/winter season...Saw a funny-lookin' little old man in a great big wooden boat full of critters float by...
Posted by: Sandy G. on February 7, 2010 08:53 AMThe Pope and his legions have changed their terminology--it's no longer "global warming", now it's "climate change". Since the climate is always in flux, it is always changing, so no one can deny that "climate change" is occurring! We can all learn from this--when you're wrong, just change your terminology to something ambiguous!
The email and data scandals are proof that this is a fabricated "science" that exists only so the government can gain more control over our lives, and so people like Al Gore can make a few bucks off of us while maintaining their energy-wasting lifestyle. Pete needs to read the news once in a while so he won't be bamboozled by these idiots.
Posted by: John on February 7, 2010 09:28 AMI live in Virginia. The month of January was pretty average. Although, it was colder than normal by an average of .006 degrees per day!

It's just we normally don't get this much precipitation.
Posted by: Robin Palm on February 7, 2010 09:42 AMActually, I believe that "Climate Change" didn't go over too well so they're tryin' to shift to "Climate Chaos" to make it sound even worse. Now that the man on the street is startin' to see that no matter what they call the turd, be it "organic fertilizer" or "solid waste" or AGW, it's still a turd that Algore and his minions have stepped in and they're still trackin' it all over Copenhagen, Kyoto and Washington, DC. To make things worse for the Glowbull Warmening crowd, everybody's seein' how Cap & Tax is gonna bring the stink into the common man's house, and these ain't the financial conditions that'll allow this mess to be considered by a post-Scott Brown-election Senate.
Posted by: Inbredredneck on February 7, 2010 10:02 AMBuried under 23 inches of global warming right here in Ol' Virginny. We'll be lucky if we see a plow sometime this week in our cul-de-sac. :-(
Posted by: Mo K. on February 7, 2010 11:00 AM32'' on the ground here near Dulles airport, This sucks. I could make a fortune selling Al Gore voodoo dolls around here.
Posted by: Ric on February 7, 2010 12:32 PMIt is never wise to confuse climate with the weather. There are weather anomalies every year.
Our solar-powered climate is always changing. Always has, always will. Now, the "progressives" think they have secured fraudulent "science" to tax us for it. It is the "progressives" that we have to stop. We have no control over the climate.
Posted by: KarlU on February 7, 2010 01:37 PMIt is warm here in "R" "E" ""GONE"
due to Global Warming???
No El Nino...he or she comes every few years or so and we can almost swim in the Pacific Ocean...
Wonder if Ol' Al Goracle knows of El Nino??? Doubt it that would take reading a book...all he does is Rite Dem...No research...he just Rites Dem
here in da 'Burgh, 24 inches, give or take. Son's flying in from Knoxville TN tonight. He has to fly in to Cleveland. We'll be in the car twice as long as he'll be in the air......
o well...
John - Pete was being sarcastic. He knows that AGW is bullshit of the highest order.
Posted by: Denny on February 7, 2010 04:16 PMAh Denny, Global Warming is not BS. In fact were it not for Global warming the DC area would be burried by about five or six inches.
Did I get that right? Same math as they used to calculate unemployment without the scamuless.
Denny,
At least someone knows me.
On one Artic I may be sarcastic, on the other Artic it may be irony.
Two weeks ago, Southern Kalifornia had it's first really good snow storm in 4 years. Big Bear and the other sky resorts were dancing in the streets, what a God send.
The Irony; the dusting was so heavy most of the roads were closed for the first weekend. Special convoys and helecopters had to bring in food, fuel and medical supplies just to keep the towns alive.

Posted by: Pete on February 7, 2010 11:16 PM30 inches of snow in Washington, D.C., is God's way of telling Congress that AGW is a hoax.
Since they're still not listening, there's more on the way!
I hope he keeps pounding them til they get it!!
Posted by: Elinor on February 8, 2010 03:11 PMElinor, I'd agree with you but I'm in the middle of this mess and have to drive through it so I can work to pay Obumble's taxes. Just got my power back on after a 54+hour outage...Algore would approve, since he would say I wasn't emitting any carbon during that time. He was just about right, another day and I would've been frozen solid.
Posted by: Grumpy Old Ham on February 8, 2010 06:24 PMThe one thing I do not like Al Gore for is that he's almost single handedly politicized an issue that had no reason to be.
The fact that current growth patterns are unsustainable and that pollution harms the environment shouldn't really be "up for debate".
