The alleged amount (which probably has a much basis in reality as every other budget number coming out oh his mouth) was, of course, $3000. Of course, the MSM ignored the gaffe. It wasn't like he'd misspelled "potatoe," after all. And who thinks the employers are going to hand that $3000 over to workers in a recession instead of letting it drop straight to the bottom line?

Maybe the bill has some provision forcing employers to give it to the employees. Who knows? No one has seen the bill. And if not, they can always add it later. As Pelosi said recently, "There'll be a lot more regulation to come. A lot."
