Reagan Joke

Since Jug Hussein Ears is the black Jimmah Carter, or maybe even worse, we really need another Reagan to clean up the mess. Here's Reagan telling a joke about Dimocrats.

Thanks to my friend Phil and my bil Ryan.

Carter for all his flaws was and is a decent man. A vet, a farmer, a business owner. Obama never would have had the guts to do this:
"Carter was the officer in charge of the U.S. team assisting in the shutdown of the Chalk River Nuclear Reactor. ..........During execution of the actual disassembly each team member, including Carter, donned protective gear, was lowered individually into the reactor, stayed for only a few seconds at a time to minimize exposure to radiation, and used hand tools to loosen bolts, remove nuts and take the other steps necessary to complete the disassembly process."

Yes he was wrong about many things, but he was man enough to be a "Nuke".

I'm crying right now. Reagan is my America.

Kercarto...I am still on record saying that somehow he will give the reins to Hillary..I expect some sob story about his family (wife) wanting him to step down!!!!

TyGuy, I think Bachmann is the closest we've got among the official nominees, but I'm convinced Rep. Lt. Col. Allen West will be our next Reagan if he decides to run. He's actually considering it now, and there are several petitions (most importantly from his own FL-22 district-- he has said he won't run unless they say so, which is understandable) basically drafting him to run (similar to the reluctant George Washington). This man would beat Obama in a landslide, and it would (or should) shut up the ridiculous cries from the left that "Tea Partiers are raaaaaacist!". West is a true conservative, a man of honor, integrity, and he loves the country, constitution and military. He often reminds us that the elected are there to work FOR we the people, plus he kicks butt in debates/panel discussions and dealing with hecklers (like Christie does), is knowledgeable about American history, has a calm demeanor and charisma. Several videos of him at this link. I think he is a complete package and is THE definition of a leader.

re: Mo K.

So, would you favor a West/Christie run for the rosegarden?

We REALLY need a Reagan to lead the party today.

Y'know, everybody compares Obama to Jimmy Carter and I don't think that's entirely fair. There's a big streak of Nixon in there that we don't fully appreciate.

Carter was feckless and incompetent and overwhelmed and internationally timid, like Obama. But Obama has a paranoid streak, a small and ugly capacity for grudges and vindictiveness that can only be compared to Richard Nixon in recent history.

I say he's a two-fer. The worst of the Seventies all in one recession-prone, OPEC controlled, malaise filled package of bitterness and defensiveness.

What I'm afraid of is that the economy WILL improve enuff by fall 2012 ON ITS OWN & Hoossain Jug Ears the Halfrican will get re-elected...You KNOW The Media will play "Let's Pretend" that it is whether or not it actually IS improving, since they're so universally in the tank for him...

All powerful individuals have a vindictive streak to one degree or another, Nixon`s was more pronounced with no sugar coating by the media.Remember if you will the Media was after Nixon since 1948 & while what they finally exposed was wrong it involved trying to protect his team rather then to abandon them like an Obama.

I personally think what Clinton did in attempting to get witnesses to lie in the Jones case as well as lying himself under oath about Monica was a more impeachable offense. It is noteworthy to reference Arkansas disbarred him for lying & subporning perjury even though he got a walk in his impeachment hearing.

The world never understood why we chose to crucify Nixon for something relatively common place. The world then & now held him in far higher regard then most who have come after him.

I agree he did wrong but he was far & away a much better POTUS then say Ford,Carter,Bush1,Bush2, Clinton & Obama.

Actually Jimmah Carter is probably greatful for Obama`s Presidency comparisons aside ......Jimmah is no longer the worst President in memory.

dudley1 - I mostly agree. If Nixon had been a Dimocrat he would not have had to resign. LBJ was a much bigger crook than Nixon. But, don't forget that it was Nixon who gave us the EPA. And, if the Dimocrats hadn't forced him to resign, he was gonna give us socialized medicine. Their hatred of Nixon delayed their wet dream of socialized medicine.

And you were correct about Watergate. Nixon knew nothing about it until after the fact and then got caught protecting his underlings. Clinton, OTOH, got his underlings to cover for him. On the whole, Nixon was far more honorable that Clinton (or LBJ, or JFK). Carter and Jug Hussein Ears are simply incompetent idiots.
